Great getaway

We all enjoyed our stay in this home. There were great areas for time together as well as time apart. The home was clean and welcoming. Loved having the air fryer! Some of the pots/pans could be updated though. I was a little disappointed in not getting a reply about a late check out, but otherwise we had a great time and really enjoyed the home.

Beautiful cabin that could use a little extra cleaning.

Loved the house itself but cleaner was there really late. We finally went in at 4:40 after waiting in car. The hot tub had issues. It wasn't cleaned and had no chemicals in it. It smelled musty and had a few bugs in it. It was 79 degrees at first and took over 4 .5 hours to hit the heat level of 102. The house smelled fine at first until we came in from the hot tub and got the floor wet. The basement area then smelled like pet urine. It did finally go away. A previous tenant had spilled coffee on the wall in the bedroom and it was still on the bottom part of the sheet covering the box spring. Overall a good stay but if you are a clean freak may not be the house for you.

Great cabin for Family Holiday Vacation

Spent Thanksgiving week here and loved the cabin. Plenty of space and amenities to keep the family entertained. Only suggestion I'd make to the Owner is to see if you can get rid of the squirrels living in the ceiling. They make noise at night scurrying around, and it's a little unsanitary. Everything else was great.

Private, great location

Loved the cabin, and the location. It could use a deep cleaning - especially in the kitchen. There were little things like someone left moldy coffee grounds in the coffee maker, the A/C stopped working after a bad storm where the power went out, but overall no material complaints!

House was beautiful...views were extraordinary. Hot tub wrap porch provides much needed relaxation. Loved it....communication was great with the owner. Thank you again for having us...scott and tracy What we didn't like had nothing to do with the property. We are used to vrbo sending us reminders of our upcoming bill due....we went through hoops trying to figure out how this needed to be done. Need to do better.

Great cabin

Great cabin. Plenty of kitchen supplies. Everything worked well. Easy access to the cabin. Only 20 minutes from the town of blue ridge.

Anniversary/baby moon getaway

Views were breathtaking! The reservation process was easy and finding the location was simple with paved roads all the way to the driveway. House was comfortable and warmed easily in the cold weather. Loved the fireplace and jacuzzi (the one time we used it.) tried cooking breakfast one morning and found the cooking wear needs updating - and the dishes weren’t the cleanest (had to rinse a lot to get dust and some dirt off bowls and glass ware) furniture was comfy, although one of the recliners arms was breaking and/or broken. The GFI outlet to the left of the sink didn’t work and the reset button was jammed. Many light bulbs inside AND outside were out, which resulted in reduced lighting upon arrival and during the stay at night. Rope lights weren’t working on the porch. And we had a little friend that was living in the ceiling that scratched around before we would go to bed every night. Overall is a good property just needs some TLC and seasonal maintenance!

Nice Cabin, but not for 8 adults

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was nice and cozy, but wasn't stocked for 8 guests. There wss plenty of cookware, but there were only a few of each random cups/glasses. We took our own plates/bowls to eat, so we didn't pay much attention to that. The silverware was spotty/dirty looking, but we were told it was due to the iron in the water. The tub on the main floor was left dirty, and had brown soap residue on each end. We were told it was a "fluke" and would receive some type of reimbursement, but never did. The hot tub had a film around it, and were later told that was also due to the high iron, but there wasn't anything in the instruction book to let us know that is was "safe" so we didn't get in. We also only had 2 extra rolls of Toilet Paper for 7 adults staying 3 nights. Other than that, it was great. A very nice firepit and about a 25-min peaceful drive Downtown Blue Ridge.

Great House, Minor Issue

Spent three nights at this property with my wife and two other couples. The house was incredible... plenty of room for the six of us and tremendous views out of the back. Loaded up on groceries on the way in and never needed to leave again. The only problem was that there was some discoloration of the water in the hot tub... Property management was quick to come fix it but the initial inconvenience put a damper on our stay. Definitely would go back with a hot tub guarantee.

Peaceful Family Retreat

Beautiful cabin with cozy indoors and huge outdoor space. Clean, well decorated and stocked. Close to all the local fun. So private we felt like we were out in the woods alone.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was as advertised. Excellent location, clean (and a clean hot tub), great view, comforting, and very roomy inside. Our only "complaint" was that there are animals living inside the walls of the house - specifically in the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. They like to run around all night long, which did not make for any sound sleeping! I hope the owners can remove these little creatures. Otherwise, everything was terrific.

We were unable to use the hot tub as the water was unclean and appeared full of algae, we were told it was minerals and that someone from property management would come to fix it, but no one ever came to look at it :( Otherwise we had a wonderful stay.

Cozy and Clean Cabin - perfect for families

The fire pit set up was great, the kitchen is well stocked, the views were gorgeous and the beds were comfortable. We spent alot of time just relaxing on the decks, enjoying the cooler temps, watching tennis and movies and reading. The location is great, as you are 20 min from downtown, 15 minutes from the grocery and just an 1 1/2 from Marietta. I would definitely stay here again. Property was just as described, SUPER CLEAN and well maintained.
