Rested Traveler - Pet Friendly log cabin with views, pool table & hot tub near Blowing Rock!

This beautiful home, located at just over 4000' elevation, offers an amazing view from high on Appalachian Ski Mountain. Finished in Fall 2022, this luxurious mountain cabin offers everything you and your loved ones need for a wonderful vacation!

On the main level you'll find an open Great Room with exposed bark log beams, vaulted ceilings, a stone gas log fireplace, circular couch, big HDTV, a wall of windows overlooking the layered mountain views, and access to the deck. There's a gorgeous kitchen with wine cooler, island, granite counters, and stainless appliances including double ovens, double microwaves, and a gas range ready for entertaining. Seating for everyone is available with the dining table and four bar-height seats at the counter. Off the kitchen, you'll find a main level half-bath. On the other side of the Great Room, you'll find the King Master Suite, featuring a beautifully tiled walk-in shower, direct access to the deck, a large closet, and a private flat screen TV.

On the lower level, enjoy the game room with pool table, TV, and Golden Tee golf arcade game. Just off of the game room, you'll find a Queen Suite with private full bath with shower. Around the corner is a beautiful movie room, with plush leather recliner seats and a huge TV, the perfect place to watch your favorite shows and movies.

Upstairs from the main level, you'll find the third and fourth bedrooms. To the left, you'll have a beautiful Queen bed with it's own Juliet balcony deck and flat screen tv. On the right, you have a room perfect for friends or littles, with two sets of twin-over-twin bunk beds close enough for a few bedtime giggles. Between these two bedrooms is another full bathroom with a tiled shower, soaking tub, and double granite vanities.

But wait…what's behind this door off the master bedroom? Why, it's a huge Great Room! Accessed through the bedroom or off the deck, this room is sure to be a fun gathering place for everyone! There's a vaulted ceilings, a leather sectional sofa, huge TV over a fireplace, and a wet bar as well as a half bath.

If you are ready to head outside, enjoy making dinner on the gas grill. On the lower level deck, you'll find an 8 person Bullfrog Spas hot tub to enjoy year-round.

Located within minutes of App Ski Mountain and Tweetsie Railroad, 10 minutes to Blowing Rock, and less than 20 minutes to Boone, you are sure to find something to do while staying high on the mountain at Rested Traveler.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
- This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs each with a max weight of 20 lbs with an additional pet rent of $50 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. Please keep dogs crated when people are away, and off the furniture.
- The homeowners use outdoor security cameras to ensure their home remains secure. They are both Ring doorbell cameras mounted on the lower level entrances facing away from the home. No cameras monitor the inside of the home or the hot tub area.
- Please note that the distances shown on VRBO's map feature are measured in a straight line rather than actual road travel distances and times. We cannot change their setting for this, and encourage all guests to independently verify distances to desired destinations.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 59 days of the arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
