This property should not be on VRBO for rent in its current condition. The entire house smells like something died in it because of the high sulfur content of the well water. It’s pungent throughout the house like a constant, giant fart.There were 5-gallon water bottles we could use for drinking, but they were already open with saran wrap over the spouts. Bathroom •No hand soap in house – Had to purchase our own.•Two washcloths for group of 6 people.•Filthy bathroom rugs and stained shower curtain.•Poor paint touchupsLiving room•No working TV despite several closets full of old TVs.•No working wifi.•No lamps.•Dusty, dirty rug.•Furniture scattered around room randomly, nothing like the photos -- tables up against the walls on their sides.•Couch is beat up. •Generally, not clean – dusty, dirty floors; dusty furniture; cobwebs; freezer full of old food; fridge full of milk and mountain dew, as if someone left 10 minutes before we arrived.•Not enough chairs, no place to sit/hang out in inclement weather, Bedrooms•Bed sheets did not look clean or recently changed – No top sheets, stinkbugs pressed into sheets, no pillow covers or mattress covers, brown disgusting pillows, cobwebs, filth on ceiling fans, etc.Kitchen•Two burners on stove did not work.•Random collection of plates/bowls/silverware – only 6 of each. •Ants on kitchen counters.Asked for 1/2 the nightly fee back. Host ghosted me.Definitely not up to VRBO standards.
