• Come in the fall and enjoy the lakeview with beautiful fall colors and crisp air from newly installed hot tub to reconnect to nature. Gatineau Park Fall Rhapsody is worth a day trip for a scenic hike with epic views of the colorful foliage. To wind down, you can just take a walk around the cottage surround by beautiful maple trees or simply read a book facing the lake on the couch.

• Cottage is on a private lot, but municipal road is easily accessible in winter time and driveway is cleared by contractor. During the winter months, walking, skating, snowshoeing, snow tubing, and ice fishing on the lake (when well frozen) are just steps away. Skiing and dogsledding are perfect winter outdoor activities nearby (30 mins away). After a hard day at play, soak in the heated Jacuzzi for soothing sore muscles and then watch a good Netflix show with a glass of wine feeling warm and relaxed.

• In the summer time, soak in the sun and paddle out on the water in complimentary kayaks/paddle board from the private dock. Please note that the bottom of the lakeshore is muddy, more suitable for water sports (i.e. kayaking and supping). You can always take kayaks or paddle board provided to swim in the part of the lake where water is deep with sandy bottom (5 mins away from the dock). In the evening, family and friends get together around the camp fire, cook up a feast on the fancy BBQ, catch the stunning lake sunsets, and soak hours away in the hot tub. Plenty of summer activities are not far from the cottage: Wakefield with nice restaurants is 30 mins away; Pontiac golf is 15 mins away; Camp Breton Beach - Lac Philippe in Gatineau Park, Eco-Odyssee Nature Park, Golf Edelweiss, bungee jumping, and aerial park/ziplining are 40 mins away; Downtown Ottawa/Gatineau (with several nice museums, restaurants, casino, and ByWard Market) are 1 hr away.

In addition to vacation, this peaceful lakefront cottage also offers an ideal working environment. Choose from spaces to work inside or outside, including from the dedicated workplace in living room or table on the patio with amazing lake view. Thanks to high-speed Starlink wifi, there is no trouble connecting to the internet in paradise. Office chair, computer monitor, and printer can also be provided upon request. When you are ready for a break, relax in the hot tub or head off on a hike in the woods.
