This home is still available for the Belmont week at Saratoga race course

Rent this home with an indoor heated pool. This luxurious (2500 square feet) log cabin is nestled on the edge of the forest at the base of French Mountain.. The open floor plan encircles a large stone fireplace with a comfortable living room that has a beautiful view of a stream and the surrounding woods. The house includes 3 bedrooms, with king sized beds. The large deck provides a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the sun. The Endless indoor pool (8' x 16' x 3') is located in the sun room, and has heated water and relaxing jets. There is a Jenn-Air range/stove, upright fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer to provide all of the comforts of home.

In addition to the Million Dollar Beach, families can spend time at nearby Usher's Park (basketball/tennis courts, picnic tables and pavilions, playground), visit any of the numerous restaurants in the area, and avail themselves of the many and varied forms of recreation and entertainment in Lake George Village and its surrounding environs.

Great host and property

Marty was very welcoming and made our stay just great. The bedrooms are large. Kitchen and dining were fantastic for my family - large space for cooking and dining. Living room was large and comfortable. Great space for the kids and adults. The two sided, two story field stone fireplace is just majestic in this log cabin. The inside pool was a hit, especially on the day it rained.

Perfect-pictures don't do it justice

This cabin is gorgeous and has everything you can think of. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The host, Marty is an amazing host. Thank you Marty for everything!

Peace and Tranquility

Have been visiting Lake George since childhood and so many of the places we stayed over years are now gone bur we love making new memories. This was our first time renting a house and we’ve already scheduled a return for October! We loved it. As others have said, photos don’t do the house justice. It is large, comfortable and peaceful. It is very convenient to both the village and route 9 where so many of the area attractions and restaurants are located. We didn’t have best weather during stay or we would have had more firepit time. Knowing the area as well as we do, we have lots of excursions we love to do as tradition but, if we didnt, house was lovely base to spend time. Can’t imagine finding anything to criticize and am confident if we hsd, owner/Marty, would have been quite helpful. Looking forward to returning in a couple of months!

Fun Family Vacation

We had an amazing stay for a week in June. The house was spacious and in a great location. It was remote and quiet yet minutes from Lake George Village. Marty was a great host and communicated well. We would definitely stay again in the future!

Log Cabin House

Great House in a quiet location. Neighbors are a little closer than I expected, but not a problem. Log cabin was beautiful. My first time in one. Pool was excellent.

Beautiful home away

We spent a long weekend here during the “off” winter season to have a change of scenery and relax. We really enjoyed floating in the heated pool, shopping in the outlets and walking around the lake. We ate out as several restaurants that were very good! The house is close to the lake (if warmer, we probably would have walked there) and restaurants. There is a beautiful stream in the backyard that my dog enjoyed running around in. We did have about a foot of snow while we were here and lost power for a day. The property manager, who lives just a few doors away was in close communication and provided us with supplies. The power came back and everything was up and running. The house is quite large and beautiful. The furniture is old and pretty worn. The bed was comfortable! There are several bathrooms. Laundry was useful. Fireplace was gorgeous! Overall a very nice weekend.

Great location with everything we needed

Perfect size house, room for everybody. There are beautiful views out of the huge windows in the back, with a hiking trail right out the back door and a babbling brook. Everyone really enjoyed using the pool/hot tub. The house is super close to everything, it’s just a few minutes to the lake & downtown, with a ton of shops & restaurants. Marty was very friendly & helpful. Really enjoyed our visit, thank you!

Rustic, charming and well equipped!

We gathered here for a family Christmas and it could not have been better. The house and location provided us with the perfect ambiance for our family reunion. The host was so personable and helpful every step of the way. We will be talking about our family experience and happy memories made for years to come. Loved our hike and the waterfalls too.

Stayed 4 nights at Thanksgiving. Everything was clean, neat, and worked properly. Marty was easy to communicate with. We will use this place again if we are in the area.

Dead stinky mouse in the kitchen cabinet

This house has not had a deep cleaning in a long time. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere. I dropped the clicker for the tv and picking it up saw tons of trash under our bed. I was grossed out! There was dirty laundry in one of the closets and various junk “thrown” in closets… The first night we were putting away groceries etc and I realized in one of the cabinets there were a bunch of mouse traps ugh! Initially I closed the door fast ugh…. But then later I went to show my husband and there was a terrible stench - gross a dead mouse! My husband had to dispose of this on vacation! It stunk so clearly the trap hadn’t been checked in a while! Didn’t they clean before we came that afternoon? While Marty tries to be nice his constant contacting us on vacation was annoying. We have a son with special needs and we did not feel that w e needed this type of communication/disruption in what we were doing. Also they have some cool cars in the the garage - he would call/text to let us know they were taking them out. We had no idea we were “sharing” the house and also that Marty lived two doors away - it wasn’t terrible but it was annoying! Vacation… that didn’t feel like it… On a much smaller scale there were some other annoyances - it’s listed for 6-8 people and there were only 1 or 2 cereal type bowls. Etc. I went out and bought some plastic bowls and cups since we had our kids of course. On a good note there’s plenty of room. The pool was a hit with our kids (which is really the reason we rented this). We enjoyed time together … it just wasn’t what we expected. The property needs professional cleaning. It’s on a “dirt/stone” road that’s a hill - not really bikeable for our kids… it’s very close to other houses. Very little yard. Basically just the deck and in the front area to park. Thanks

Wonderful week vacation in Lake George

We had a wonderful, very relaxing week in Lake George. Away from the hustle and bustle but still close to all the attractions. House had everything we needed and plenty of room for us to all spread out. Our host Marty was great and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We are already thinking about coming back next year.

Great Lake George Cabin

My family and I had an excellent time and stay in Lkae George. The Cabin was better than expected and the pool was a real plus for us. Marty was very helpful with area tips and general information.

This log home is on a private dead end road. It has 3 king size beds and 2 and a half baths.
The attached sun room has a endless pool that is heated and has jets in the 2 seats and jets at the end of the pool. It also has a large wood burning fireplace. There is a large deck overlooking a stream. There is a out door fire pit with chairs.
