The Homecoming in Highmore, SD

This newly updated and refurbished 1920's home is a beautiful space to bring your family and friends for a restful stay with all of the amenities of home. If you are coming "home" to stay you may know this house as the old LaFortune home. It boasts three stories with adequate space to spread out. It is a comfortable space for families to gather for a reunion or holiday gathering. It is also perfect for friends coming together to hunt the prairie of South Dakota or fish for walleye on the Missouri River 35 minutes away. We are 45 minutes east of Pierre, South Dakota.
The home is conveniently located near downtown Highmore within walking distance of the local grocery store and auditorium where many local events and wedding receptions are hosted.
All queen and the king beds are brand new sleep number beds to ensure that your sleep is high quality. The Homecoming has three queen beds, one king bed, two single twin beds and a futon for a comfortable stay for 12 guests. The home has one half bath on the main floor, one full bath with tub and shower on the 2nd floor and another 3/4 bath on the 2nd floor with a shower.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all of your cooking needs including a dishes, glassware, silverware, blender, toaster, and coffee maker. We have a heated entry space that is perfect if you are coming to the area for hunting or fishing! Though pets are not allowed within the house space, we do welcome dogs to stay in the garage or entry room space. We also have an accessible washer and dryer in the basement.
