Private dock, boat lift, launch access nearby, world class bass fishing, close to dining, shops and all the Villages has to offer. Enjoy the numerous parks, trails and other local attractions or just sit under the avocado tree read a book and enjoy the serenity and constant stream of wildlife from the large backyard. This home is continually being updated and well maintained and is furnished with plenty of amenities including dishwasher, washer, dryer, stove, well stocked kitchen, bedding, towels, etc. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Fishing stay

Summer weekend

Nice house for a family weekend meet-up. Clean and spacious. Bring bug spray if spending any time outdoors. Also lots of wasp nests hidden around.

Hi Michelle, They were probably mud daubers, which look a lot like wasps, but are solitary and rarely sting humans. I do have a pest service as does everyone in FL. and they were there not that long ago. I wish you would have mentioned it and I could have asked them to stop by.

Fishing vacation

We absolutely loved the house, and it’s perfect location for us to be on the water everyday. Tavares and Dora being right around the corner makes it a perfect opportunity for good eats and plenty of tourist attractions if you’re not coming to fish the whole time like us.

Return visit

This was the second time we stayed at this property and it was once again great! Easy check in. Well furnished. Beautifully maintained. The landscaping has even been updated. Looking forward to the next time.

Fishing trip

Outstanding all around!

Great stay for 3 grown men on a fishing trip. Clean house all around! Great communication with the owner. Owner was very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Very Clean

We were a mandatory evacuation and found this house. It was the perfect home away from home. The house is super clean and the kids even fished in the lake. Jim was very responsive and helpful. We will stay here again.

Lisa and her family were great guests and left the place immaculate which is an amazing feat given their stressful circumstances, two kids, several dogs and the fact that the power went out halfway through their stay due to very high winds and rain. Would be happy to have them back any time. Wishing the best for them on their return home.

Very Nice Home

This was a very nice home with a perfect location. Close to the events we were interested in but the privacy of a nice development. Open floor plan and very clean. Jim the owner responded in a timely fashion. Would definitely stay in this home again.

Great place on the water.

Nice, clean home on the water. Great for going out in the mornings and evening's to watch the sun rise and sets. The fish in lake griffin don't seem to like my lures!

Home is very nice, very clean well stocked kitchen with needed items for your stay. Screened room is nice with a view of boat dock and canal. I would highly recommend this vacation home for your weekend getaway or extended stay. It's a keeper : )

Winter escape

House is lovely and is close to restaurants and shopping. Kitchen is well stocked. Golf is also nearby. Lots of wildlife including eagles, osprey, alligators and manatees. Caught a few bass and lost some too! Our Labrador also had a great time. And the owner responded very quickly to any concerns and questions we had.

Great location, immaculate house!

Friendly neighbors which was a plus since we had children and a boat. Navigating the driveway with a 37' trailer was a bit of a challenge but we finally made it and thankful for a property that would accommodate it. Great fishing off the dock caught a 4 pound bass!

Just what we needed

The home was clean, well-appointed, and as advertised. We needed a place to stay for a few days while moving my mom into an assisted living facility. The large backyard on the water allowed us to relax and recharge after long days of packing.

Exactly what we needed

The house is in a quiet, safe neighborhood. We were in town for the college BASS tournament on the Harris Chain of Lakes, this house is not far from Venetian Gardens boat launch which made it perfect for us. The owner is very nice and helpful and responds quickly. We will likely stay here again on our next trip to Harris Chain.

Better than expected!

Jim’s property is amazing! Our kids and dog enjoyed the huge yard and the dock on the canal to lake Harris. The property is located in quiet neighborhood between Leesburg and Lady Lake, close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. The house was very clean and comfortable, larger than I expected. Highly recommended!

Spectacular ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ property on the water

This property has everything! Dock, garage, WiFi, fire pit, ample parking..... When I inquired about a outdoor grill the property owner had one delivered the day we arrived. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We are a family of five with three boys. A sophomore in college, a high-school senior and a freshman. We love to travel and explore new places and hope that someday we will have the time and opportunity to do more of that.

We purchased this property because I love to fish and the hope is as we near retirement we can utilize this property as our own get-away to catch a couple of the legendary bass the chain of lakes is known for. There is an avocado tree in the back yard and the landscaping is beautiful. The birds and wildlife are present in the backyard and in the water every day and the atmosphere and neighborhood are always so peaceful and quiet. Griffin lake offers a wild-life sanctuary type atmosphere that we find majestic. Being able to connect to 6 other lakes and have access to restaurants, water activities and the ability to explore the area by boat are some of the things we love about this property and the area. The close proximity to the Villages also provides an endless opportunity for entertainment and activities.
