Welcome to The Hummingbird. Nestled among the Oak trees in this peaceful retreat is your next weekend away. Our brand new resort offers some unique accommodations for Waco visitors. We look forward to hosting you!

The Space:
Hummingbird Treehouse

The hummingbird bird does not derive its name from a vocal sound. Rather, the bird is so called because of the throbbing hum produced by its rapidly beating wings. When hummingbirds find a good nesting site, they frequently reuse it, building a new nest right on top of an older one.

The Hummingbird treehouse is a good temporary nesting site for two guests. Stretch out and relax on the king-size bed or sit a spell on the spacious deck. A cozy dining nook beckons you to have a snack or a meal. Speaking of which, the chefs among you will appreciate the kitchen area supplied with utensils, cookware, hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig beverage maker. A cozy dining nook provides great window views.

Need Internet access? Individual Wi-Fi is provided in the treehouse. Have a Roku subscription? Stream your favorite content to the TV. A full list of amenities is below.

Conveniently located to local area attractions, the treehouse is only 15 minutes from Homestead Heritage Craft Village, Magnolia Silos, and Baylor University, just to name a few.

Majestic oak trees provide a restful, sun dappled environment for your stay. Our rural location is peacefully removed from adjacent commercial clutter and noise, yet is only minutes from interstate access and shopping.

Other Things to Note:
The structural supports for the treehouse cabins are intensely strong yet flexible. The flexibility allows slight movement of the cabin within the tree canopy if the canopy itself shifts sufficiently. You might feel a gentle rhythm from nature—but rest assured that the treehouse cabins, although elevated, are firmly anchored to the ground.

There is a fishing pond in the center of the property that is stocked with largemouth bass and sunfish. It is catch and release only right now. We also have a double pickle ball court on site.
