Step into this charming two-story home featuring cozy living rooms, two bathrooms, fireplaces, an all-season sunroom, and wonderful areas for entertaining guests! The Home has two complete kitchens, making it a fantastic choice for holiday celebrations and summer cookouts!
Discover our inviting outdoor spaces featuring SEASONAL dining, a gazebo, a cozy fire pit, and a relaxing hot tub, Outdoor amenities run FROM MAY 1ST - NOVEMBER 1ST.

This area is also a haven for fishermen, hikers, and wine lovers! Enjoy trout streams, river fishing, and hunting lands, all just minutes from your next adventure. Ask us about available hunting on the property.

Experience the excitement of riding on our 5 miles of private trails! Bring your ATV, UTV, or snowmobile and explore—plenty of room for trucks and trailers. More trails are on the way!

Bring your furry friends along! Our pet-friendly venue welcomes dogs for a small fee, and small events can be hosted with prior approval. Join us for a tail-wagging good time!

Perfect short getaway

After a crazy busy summer, my daughter and I needed a little getaway. We stayed two nights and it was perfect. Check in and out was so easy and the house is so comfortable and peaceful. Great outdoor space as well with the hot tub. We very much enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!

Memorable visit with family. The home and hot tub were spotless...and the property is so beautiful with a nice view of rolling hills. The owner was very attentive to details and we felt very comfortable and at home. We would love to stay again sometime, thanks!

Family weekend vacation

The home was absolutely perfect. All we had to bring was food. Accommodations were excellent. Nice big yard for kids to play. Patio and hot tub were a hit. Bedrooms were spacious and downstairs had plenty of room to socialize.

Family time

The house was perfect for our family get together. We loved all the games available, and the gazebo, and sunroom was amazing! We loved the downstairs for just being able to be all together. The host was amazing , and made sure we were doing good. I highly recommend this property. It was very clean.

Breath Taking

This rental had everything that you needed and expected to have a nice family getaway the rental had everything that was seen in the photos with breathtaking views in the morning and evening I enjoyed my stay and even had a wedding at the venue but definitely will be revisiting soon

Bass Fishing Tournament

We had (4) fishing teams (8) people stay at the property. The property has an excellent outdoor patio and driveway is large enough to park (4) bass boats and it was perfect.

Driftless Vacation

My family and I spent a few days exploring the Driftless area. Country View Getaway was a great location for home base. The house was very clean, spacious, and beautiful. Kim was very helpful and accommodating, making sure my questions were answered and readily available if I had more. I have no hesitations about recommending this place to others.

Wonderful experience

Kim kept in contact with me before my check-in and during my stay. What a beautiful setting. The house was very clean and she had welcome snacks and drinks for us. The hot tub was a hit and enjoyed. She had board games and puzzles for when the weather didn't allow us to be outdoors. She was just a phone call away if we had any problems. I will definitely let others know about this property and highly recommend it.

Thw house and grounds are beautifully landscaped and decorated. Being a gardener myself it felt at home seeing the flower beds and watching the hummingbirds and butterfly’s. The sunrises were great to watch. Well stocked kitchen, nice grill and firepit with wood provided. Only downside is the two regular beds are very tall and extremely hard to get in if you are older with back or hip issues, however they are very comfortable. The addition of the hot tub was great, nothing like a hot tub to soak in!

Little piece of Heaven

A little slice of heaven should be what they call this country paradise. We came for a weekend getaway and were thoroughly impressed. Kim, the hostess with the mostess, had this place impeccable. We have never been to a better stocked rental. She even had a special basket of goodies waiting on us. Plenty of towels, kitchen needs, stuff for your pup, and any other little detail you could think if. We didn't have to leave for any supplies. She was so kind and responsive. The house is simply perfect! We spent hours riding the trails. The back patio was where we spent most of our time. We look forward to returning

Beauty in the Driftless

This is the perfect spot to enjoy all the beauty the Driftless has to offer. Surrounded by beautiful farmland and rolling green hills, it is the perfect place to unwind. Quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed the night sky from the hot tub. On the inside, everything was immaculate. This home is stocked with everything you could need, and then some! It was definitely a repeatable experience. Thank you so much, Kim, for helping with the registration issues we had. Your attention to detail is what makes your properties so special.

Family Christmas gathering.

We had our family Christmas at the property. Everything was perfect. The owner has thought of absolutely everything one could need. Having the second kitchen downstairs was especially nice. Both kitchens were stocked with all that we needed. The beds are comfy and all the bed/bath linens are high quality. We spent a lot of time in the sunroom. It’s beautiful and comfy. The setting is very private and peaceful. I would love to see it in the summer and fall. I’m certain it’s beautiful. The owner was easy to reach and kept communication lines open. She was flexible with us when we had a request to make. Big plus that the property is pet friendly. This was a fantastic experience.

This is truly a unique and special rental property. It was everything we were looking for: rural, quiet, peaceful, comfortable, and beautiful. What an absolute treat to be surrounded by green fields of soybean and corn, to walk freely with the dogs along wide mown paths with the sun rising and the dew sparkling. The home itself was immaculate and comfortably furnished; plenty of room to stretch out, and everything one could need in the kitchen(s). The sunroom was a favorite spot for humans and dogs alike. Kim is a thoughtful and attentive host and I can see why guests return again and again. PS NE Iowa is a beautiful place!

Country View Getaway is located 5 miles out of beautiful Lansing, Iowa. The property has access to 425 acres of farmland, wildlife, woodlands, and lovely rural scenery. Northeast Iowa (Bluff Country) is one of the most dazzling Mississippi Valley and Driftless areas. It is close to Western Wisconsin, South East Minnesota, and the mighty Mississippi.
The home can sleep up to 8 guests. It has two complete kitchens, great for holiday get-togethers or a Summer cook-out. There are also two seasonal outdoor seating/dining areas, a fire pit, and a hot tub. 
This charming home has two levels for you to enjoy....both levels have living rooms, two bathrooms, fireplaces, an all-season sunroom, and entertainment areas.

Come enjoy some country fun!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

This area is a playground for Fishermen, Hikers, Powersport enthusiasts, Wine Lovers, Hunters, and Boaters. Feel free to bring your ATV, UTV, snowmobile, and horses to ride on our 5 miles of private trails. We are in the process of creating more trails as we go along. Remember, you can also ride on the gravel.
Dogs with a pet fee per Dog are welcome, and small events will be accepted after pre-approval.
