Come and enjoy the amazing views at ā€œParadise On The Hillā€!! Sit and have a romantic meal in dining room or just relax in the living room by the warm fire. Our home offers two large decks for admiring the beautiful mountains views. Sit in the hot tub with the one you love while watching the snow fall or counting the stars! We are located minutes away from Emory&Henry College for all you sports fans!! Go Wasps


Our home sits on 2 acres of pure beauty with breathtaking Mountain Viewā€™s. As you walk through the door you enter the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped for all those home cooked meals. Sit and have a romantic meal or just relax in the living room by the warm fire. The main floor also offers laundry room and bedroom 1. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed with walk-in closet and a full bathroom with shower/jacuzzi tub . As you walk down the steps to the lower level you will find our den/game room with futon sofa bed and a kitchenette with mini refrigerator. Bedroom 2 has a queen size with nice with a full bathroom with walk-in shower only. Bedroom 3 has two double bed with walk-in closet and full bathroom with tub/shower combo. Outside you will find two large covered porches with patio furniture to watch the sunrise as you drink your favorite coffee or watch from the hot tub with the one you love. Take the steps down to the fire pit to make those amazing sā€™mores or tell those camper fire stories!

We had a great time at this cabin. Everything was clean and it had everything that you would ever need and more. The downstairs kitchenette was a definite plus. The hot tub was great as was the fire pit and the gas logs.I would highly recommend and we will be booking for next year.

The ā€œChristmas Cabinā€ as it is lovingly referred to by my family was outstanding! Very clean! Smelled great! It was the perfect place for our large family of 10 adults.. and 5 grandchildren! We came from TN NC WV to celebrate Christmas. The views in the morning with a cup of coffee was exactly what was needed.. The cabin felt very much like a home away from home.. you have a very special place. P.S April did a great job with the cabin.. itā€™s worth mentioning again how clean and great it smelled when we walked in. First impressions definitely make a difference. Many blessings Katee

It truly was the cleanest, best equipped vacation rental any of us had stayed in. And as all 5 of us are Emory & Henry alums who were in town for homecoming, all of the E&H touches made it even more special. Canā€™t wait to return!

Beautiful setting - open space private cabin- plenty of room to enjoy outdoor deck with Mountain View. Bedrooms very comfortable. Kitchen had everything you needed for your stay and location was perfect for creeper trail day! Just went all out with this cabin!!!

Absolutely Perfect!!

The cabin is beautiful, conveniently located to every thing we needed and places we wanted to visit. Sleeping arrangements are perfect and comfy. Fully stocked especially lots and lots of towels and wash cloths. The view and property were amazing and private and quiet. And this cabin is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!!! We have stayed at very clean places but this place is spotless!! We had a great time!!

Great Location and Beautiful cabin

We were celebrating our daughterā€™s 18th birthday with her friends and she is hitting the Appalachian Trail next year so she wanted to attend Trail Days. This cabin was a perfect place for both celebrating and getting much needed rest after a long day. My only suggestion is that you upgrade your pics because they do not do the cabinā€™s beauty justice.

Perfect spot

We stayed for the weekend with friends. Went to the Barter Theater for a show and spent a day hiking the Channels. This home is in a great location and was perfect for our group.

A wonderful country getaway

A group of friends and I stayed over a long weekend. The house is cozy and comfortable, with enough space to stretch out. Coffee on the covered porch in the morning overlooking the farms and hills was a treat. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils and cookware we needed for some nice meals. The property is quiet and peaceful. We had a great time.

Thanksgiving in VA

We couldnā€™t have picked a better place to have our Thanksgiving vacation! The views were amazing and there were lots of unique things to do nearby. We especially enjoyed catching ā€œA Christmas Carolā€ at the Barter Theater!

Mountain pass

The house is beautiful and just as described. Immaculately clean and provided everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed the hot tube and a trip to Hungry Mother State Park during our stay. This is truly one of the nicest homes we've rented, and we've been to quite a few...

Just The Best

This home is perfect in all ways. The pics really do not really give the true beauty of the home or the views!!! Crissy was just a real pleasure to work with, the best I have ever worked with, all question or details were fast answers. This house is very, very well stocked !!!! We are a group of 3-4 couples that travel to different locations every year. So for me its a real challenge to get what we need as far as rooms and baths. This was are 10th year doing this and everyone was more than happy with the choice. The only negative is we wish the downstairs bedrooms had a small TV, there is one in the common area thou. I pick a house that is are base and we ride our bikes to areas around. We usually travel 200 to 250 a day. If we return to this area there will be problem getting this home at all ! So to Crissy the Hudson's , Ervin's and the Tasche's thank you so very much !!!!!

Time with cherished friends

We attended Ring of Fire Johnny Cash Show at the Barter Theater and followed that with dinner at The Tavern. Both were a stupendous experience. The next day we visited Abington Vineyard, The day was sunny and warm and the wine delightful, especially Red Hawk. We spent 3 nights as we did last year and love the home and all it has to offer.

One of the Best Rental Properties We Have Ever Stayed At!

Everything about this property was perfect! The owners have thought of everything that someone could possibly need during a vacation stay. The cabin was super clean, the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and coffee were well stocked. The cabin is super cozy and comfortable and has that perfect woodsy feel. The view from the property up in hills was spectacular. The firepit and spa were wonderful to use outside. Communication was quick and easy, check in with the digital keypad got us in within seconds. Bottom line : if youā€™re staying in the area, just book this place. You will not regret it.

Virginia Creeper weekend get-a-way

Great stay in a beautiful cabin with a view. The house is just as amazing in person as it looks online. The beds are comfortable, the house was immaculate, and it had everything our family of six needed. 15 minutes drive to downtown Abington and 25 minutes to Damascus made it close enough to enjoy the VC Trail, Abington Vineyards and dinner at Martha Washington Inn. The hot tub was a favorite place to relax after riding the trail. Chrissy was an attentive host and helped to make our trip a special one.

Terrific cabin!!

The property is easy to get to and in a terrific central location for everything we wanted to do. The Channels is a must do hike (use Google Map, not Siri or you end up in someoneā€™s driveway), the Virginia Creeper Trail, Grayson Highlands National Park, and more. The cabin comes with everything you need. It was perfect for us (two couples). They had privacy with the bedroom downstairs and the kitchenette down there for morning coffee and we had the upstairs bedroom and could sleep in! We couldnā€™t have asked for a nicer stay.
