Perfect stay! The host is great, very responsive. She really nailed the Cozy Cabin vibe with the ambience of this little gem. Perfect spot for families—it’s cozy as hell but not cramped. Nice clean bathrooms, comfy beds. Well stocked with firewood for the wood burning stove. Some great board games and some outdoor games a ping pong table in the garage. I appreciate a rental that is well equipped in the kitchen and this place is a great example of that. Yes, the new standard coffee brewing method of rentals the K-cup machine is there for those that take it that way—but for those of us that prefer less one time plastic usage in getting our fix she also provides a drip coffee machine AND a pour over cone! Plenty filters stocked for either option, and even a coffee grinder!! That is hospitality for coffee lovers. The kitchen (which is beautiful btw) also has plenty of pots and pans and measuring spoons, mixing bowls etc. Everything you need and is very clean and organized. The location is super convenient to Lassen Volcanic Park. There’s also a really great cave to explore not far up the highway, Subway Lava Tubes.

Our vacation experience, from reservation to post checkout, was flawless! We had an amazing and relaxing time, the cabin was well stocked super clean, and our host, Ericka, was exceptional. 10 out of 10!

The house had everything that we needed. It was close to the things that we wanted to do. It was warm and inviting. The host was also very responsive to our questions. Overall, an excellent stay if you want to see Mt Lassen!

Great cabin in a great location, just mins from Lassen NP. The cabin was well equipped with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable living room, beds were comfy and the bathroom was good (water pressure was great)! We were able to use the outside a couple of nights with the gas fireplace.

The cabin is beautiful and Erica is the most helpful and responsive host I've encountered. The custom kitchen stocked with all of the necessities made preparing meals easy. We saw deer and wild turkey every day which only added to the fabulous ambiance. There are a few neighbor cabins that are closer than we anticipated from the photos and occasionally reminded us of their presence.

Immaculate and well-appointed

This was perhaps the cleanest vacation rental I've ever stayed in. The cabin was just as advertised and we really enjoyed all the little touches, from the well-stocked spice cabinet, to the outdoor mini game area. Very secluded feeling as well, although a group of neighbor dogs did come to say hi to me while I was enjoying my morning coffee. Would absolutely stay again if in the area.

Wonderful, rustic cabin just 10 minutes west of Lassen Volcanic National Park’s northwest entrance. Comfortable place for family to sleep, eat, and hang out after a day adventuring in the park. And we loved the covered outdoor porch for morning coffee.

Rustic Clean Cabin

Overall the cabin was clean and had all the necessary supplies. We thought the cabin was dark and we had to move the chair that was blocking the heater. The neighborhood was quiet and close to Lassen Volcano NP.

Wonderful mountain cabin

Booked the rustic cabin for 3 nights this week but due to unforeseen reason, didn’t make it to the cabin until the 2nd night. Immediately messaged Erica, the host to make sure that we can still go. She is very accommodating, professional but friendly. We’ve been to multiple cabins but this is the first time we found one that we liked in VRBO. The rustic mountain cabin in lassen is by far the cleanest and well-stocked place we’ve ever been to, from dining/kitchen supplies (even has crackpot available) to beddings/towels/, cleaning supplies, heaters, kids/adult entertainment (has DVDs, books, ping-pong table, sleds, board games). Has ample enough outlets too so that you can charge your gadgets anywhere you are. It’s very cozy, and welcoming. We arrived with available snacks and bottle of wine available ready on the dining table. Has a binder with basic instructions and guides for your stay. The cabin has the rustic touch with some modern-day comfort. The cabin was well organized and layout was well planned. Not even a single appliance cord out of place! I love the layout of the house with the porch/first floor balcony//grill area on the side of the dining area, near the kitchen. The downstairs balcony is perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning, stargazing at night and family outdoor meals. The bedroom is comforting. Very cute duvet. The bigger of the 2 rooms upstairs has a balcony too with small tables and 4 chairs, perfect for kids/teenagers

My wife and I are expecting a baby in May. We needed one last get away and chose this cabin because it was secluded and quiet. Erica was super helpful every step of the way. The cabin was clean with easy instructions to operate the heater and get a fire started. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Thank you again for having us!

New Year’s Eve

We baked a few Costco take and bake pizzas, played games and drove up to see it snowing in the park to ring in the new year. The next morning we drove to the Subway cave and Burney Falls. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and had everything to make our quick trip enjoyable. The location was perfect. Ping pong was fun!

Wonderful Thanksgiving at the Cabin!

This cabin is a very nice combination of modern updates and a cozy log cabin that made a fantastic stay for Thanksgiving. It's really ideally situated between Shingletown and Lassen NP-- if you would like to cook it's easy, and if you want to go to town for groceries or pizza it's not far at all. It was probably one of the best stocked rentals I have been in-- from tasty snacks and wine to having all the pots and pans we needed for a holiday dinner. We did some winter hiking around Manzanita Lake and on the Pacific Crest trail and was pleasantly surprised on how amazing it was during this season with so few people. The stars are amazing at night, whether you walk down the road or take a short drive. Thanks for the special memories.

Fantastic cabin with great proximity to Lassen Volcanic!

Cabin was perfect, very well-stocked kitchen with all the cooking supplies we needed, host was super responsive, less than 15 minutes to the national park entrance. Highly recommend.

Sweet cabin in the woods

My adult children joined me for a milestone birthday celebration. This cabin was so welcoming and comfortable with well equipped kitchen. We loved this place! The owner was very responsive.

Great Escape

Was a happy occasion for us. My grand daughter was getting married at the Grace Lake resort on a Thurs and Friday. We were a party of 4. All above age of 60. Accommodations were excellent. Well stocked kitchen with the extras you need but didn't want ti pack. We saw turkeys (5) lots of deer and Gray Squirrels.Evenings were brisk and enjoyable to sit on deck and listen to pine trees in the wind.
