We are so glad you enjoyed your week in McCall and hope you found the location to be very convenient for you and your family. I know we love being there and with a young child and access to the park, beach, bike paths at Ponderosa, hiking, cafes, etc we rarely even need to get in the car!

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m really sorry to hear parts of your stay didn’t meet expectations. We always want our guests to have a peaceful, comfortable visit. We were happy to accommodate your same-day request to add an extra night — I’m glad we could make that work for you. The building recently got a full exterior paint job as part of our efforts to keep things clean and well maintained, and we appreciate your patience as that work wrapped up. The shampoo and soap dispensers can be unreliable, so to protect the bathroom tile we leave them empty but always provide plenty of complimentary toiletries for guests to use instead. As for things like barking dogs or smoke outside — those are frustrating, and while we do have clear no-smoking signs throughout the property, we unfortunately can’t control what neighbors do. The listing does note the condo is on the third floor, includes one designated parking space, and has heat but no AC. Luckily, during cooler months the mountain air and ceiling fans keep things comfortable. We’ve had the same cleaning team for years with great feedback, but I’ll definitely review your comments with them. Lastly, we just had a handyman replace all bulbs in early September, so I wish we’d known about the light issue or anything else during your stay — we would have been happy to fix it right away. We truly appreciate you sharing your thoughts and the photos. Every bit of feedback helps us keep improving, and we hope you still enjoyed some time relaxing in McCall!

Thank you for choosing our home for your stay. We are very disappointed to hear how unhappy you were with the space and cleaning fees and really surprised to receive your review in late September. We work very hard to keep our home very clean for our guests and turnover is quite frequent in the summer. Although we do ask our guests to start laundry, we do not expect our guests to stick around and complete the laundry. Sorry to hear you will not be back but do hope you might give it another chance.
