Zayn's Place Dog Friendly Home

Welcome to our home! This home features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and a gorgeous backyard. Large kitchen with island and a large pull out couch complete this space for a spacious stay. Custom dining, coffee and side tables all made by a local San Antonio craftsman! Stay close to downtown in our stunning home.

*Dog friendly with $35/ fee per pet* -Guest assumes all responsibilities of pet. Guest is to always watch pet. Hosts and property owners are not responsible for any pet injuries or death on property.

No smoking anywhere on property.

No firearms allowed on property.

Please only kind, courteous, and down to earth guests.

No garage access.

The back master bedroom does get warmer than the rest of the home in the summer and colder in the winter.

If you are a guest that likes to find something to complain about in an attempt to get a refund, please book somewhere else.

Attic, crawl space, hot water closet, and cleaning supply closet are off limits to guests. Entering into one of these areas is considered trespassing.

Guests assume all liability on property. Guests on property are entering at their own risk. Hosts and Property Owners are not responsible for any injuries, death, stolen/lost property, or any other liabilities. This applies to all humans and animals.

Family and Fireworks

The house was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out with our kids who are studying in the area. Patio furniture needs repair. We were not able to enjoy that part of the space. Overall, nice house. Convenient location.

Great family place

While not specifically listed as a place for young kids, it served us very well! Hosts are friendly a d responsive. Comfortable home, not too close to the Riverwalk that it's busy, but not too far away to be inconvenient.

Not as new as pictures make it out to be.

Host did not want us get there even 30 minutes early. After entering the house we found that the home was not newly renovated like they show in the pictures. My dad who has had a stroke had to make sure he not to catch his toe on the uneven flooring. It was buckled and cracked in many places. We also had to do a tick check every time we came into the house. With all the dogs and cat on both sides of this house we found ticks on us just by walking in and out. The back porch was over taken by the neighbors tree and weeds growing up through the boards. There were also only two folding chairs no other patio furniture. The walls had marks all over them. They also have the thermostat locked and will not let you set the AC any lower than 70*. The days we were there temperature was over 100* outside the house never cooled off. They did have a window unit in the master bed but that is the only room we could get even remote cool. I don’t know what was worse the sleeping hot or the ticks and roaches!!!! Would not recommend!!!

Not pet friendly

The inside of the rental was nice and cozy — comfortable and well set up for a relaxing stay. However, the outdoor area was a bit of a letdown. The grass in the front and backyard was a bit tall, and unfortunately, the backyard seemed to be a breeding ground for ticks. Our dogs picked up quite a few and we were dealing with them for days afterward, especially after time spent on the backyard and sofa in the living room. Just a heads-up to future guests with pets! Hopefully, the host has addressed the issue since our visit, as this place has potential with a bit more outdoor maintenance.

The “Casita”

Loved it!! Did not disappoint at all. My daughters nicknamed it the “Casita” as it looks small on the outside but as you walk in it is spacious and the recommendations left by the owners were excellent.

Great little house.

We were a little concerned driving in because it didn’t look like the best neighborhood but it was very quiet and clean. The house was very nicely remodeled and clean. Super cute property and with a great backyard. Very convenient to get to the freeman coliseum

Great stay in SA

Perfect for a family that is looking to be close to downtown San Antonio. Property manger was available for any and all questions. Home is clean and well kept. My family looks forward to our next stay.

Cozy, comfortable and close to everything

Plenty of room, awesome showers. Master bedroom was so comfortable. Nice little back porch for evenings. Great location in proximity to tourist attractions.

Lovely little house with some quirks

Over all, my family loved this house. We stayed a week, even extended our stay one more night because we weren't ready to head home. It had everything we needed to enjoy our week. There was plenty of space for 7 people, it's bigger than the pictures look. My youngest ended up sleeping on the couch and said it was super comfortable. The alarm & entry systems were simple to use. The furnishings were lovely and homey. The beds were comfortable and there were ample blankets & pillows, towels, etc. The neighborhood was questionable at first, but turned out to be quiet and not an issue at all. We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again...in a cooler season. Our ONLY complaint about this house- it was hot. (July) The thermostat is on some control system during the day and in the evenings, when we were allowed to turn it down, the house never seemed to cool enough. *We were warned at checkin* that the master bedroom was the hottest room, and they were not kidding. They provided fans, which was nice. We had to strategically place fans to pull air into the room and to blow on us at night. The heat & noise of multiple fans made it hard to sleep. None of the other bedrooms seemed to have an issue. Everyone else slept great. Overall, a nice place to stay for a family, just prepare for a warm master bedroom during summer.

Do your research thoroughly

House was clean and nice. A few cockroaches showed up with a huge spider on the curtains. Gunshots multiple times a nights, Very scary. A/C in Master bed room did not work and was not told of this till a few hrs of our stay. Way to hot even with 6 fans. Rest of house was cooled off. Experience in San Antonio with everything we did 5 out of 5 being in Denver heights is not safe for family's.

Accommodating rental close to historic San Antonio

The house was perfect for our needs and the host was super responsive and helpful with everything! It was a short drive to Alamo and river walk. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to any who are looking for a nice place to stay while in San Antonio!

Wonderful stay in a very nice home

We really enjoyed this home! Everything was very clean and everything we needed was there. The property managers were helpful and responsive. The showers were really nice as well! The neighborhood was not the greatest. The neighbors were in the backyard doing some kind of work until around 11pm. Otherwise, we have no complaints. Would definitely stay here again.
