Enjoy this 1200 sqft 2 BD/2BA half duplex located on East facing side of 9th Street! All new furniture including beds, bedding, and linens. Clean your catch at the fish cleaning table with running water and a sink! Large bait freezer is in the carport next to the washer and dryer. Fenced in yard is great for pets or small children. New Tiki added for shade or great bbq lunch on the out dining table. Home is just walking distance to 3 restaurants, park, golf course, tennis courts and the Cabana Club included.Cabana Club which is a 15 minute walk from the home that will give you access to a private pool and beach.

Unfortunately, our stay wasn't the best. We had someone enter the locked unit without notification while we were gone. The 350 cleaning fee and list of check out expectations were disappointing. We basically had to clean the entire unit minus bedding. We had to go buy 50 worth of cleaning supplies on vacation to meet check out expectations. We have stayed at other properties in Key Colony and there are definitely better options for the same expense. Otherwise, everything was fine.

We had a great stay! Plenty of room for our family of four. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Location is absolutely beautiful! We can't wait to return.

Erin, the rental agent, was a pleasure to deal with: immediate responses and very clear instructions.As to the property in general, it was stocked marginally to OK, but the landlord needs to upgrade the mediocre and partly damaged pots and pans. The door to the en-suite bathroom of the master bedroom could not be properly closed - very unpleasant. While the neighborhood offers recycling pick-up, the recycling can was closed with a lock.The property allowed our dog, but was not properly fenced in to the left neighbor, so the dog could disappear.

This stay was mostly amazing. The canal patio area is everything it looks like in the pictures, amazing. The beds were comfy. The second bedroom has full beds, not just twins, so the beds are big and nice. It has all the amenities you need, and even the kitchen knives are sharp when cooking. The laundry was easy, and Erin is just a fantastic host. She is available to help with whatever. Two things bothered me about the stay. First, it was fairly apparent that animals had recently stayed or were common at this place, as there was still animal hair around the apartment, and my allergies kicked up like crazy while there. Second, the whole place was tile, but there weren't any mats, so if the floor got wet at all, it was a major slip hazard. Other than those two things, the place was outstanding. I would definitely stay there again.

Family trip to Marathon

It was a wonderful rental in Key Colony Beach, equipped with everything you could need! We enjoyed our stay very much especially the back patio area! The host was very kind, professional, and attentive! Also we always enjoy being able to go to the Cabana club in KCB! Highly recommend if youā€™re looking for a nice place with a great location!

Nice neighborhood

The home is as nice as any place we've stayed in the keys. The owners have provided a very nice place to stay. Dish washer, washer dryer, plenty of space for up to 6 guests was perfect. Nice sitting area outside along the canal was well used by our family. A couple of pans were pretty dirty and outside chair with scotch tape holding the trim together is reason for 4 for cleanliness. Management company only providing 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom and 3 kitchen garbage bags for a full wk stay are a couple reasons for 4 out of 5 overall.We would stay again and recommend to anyone.

Perfect for us

This was a perfect place for our one week getaway. It was very clean, close to everything, and a great dock for our 24 ft boat. Loved hanging out around the tiki in the evenings. Lots of parking for our cars and the boat trailer. Would rent it again

Stayed here with family. Had all the comforts of home with the bonus of being on vacation. Kitchen was great for making dinners. Dining area was spacious. The outdoor tiki was perfect for morning coffee and watching the sunrise over the roof tops

Just Perfect!

Although not a large unit, it was perfect. Well-sto cked kitchen, comfortable beds, extremely clean, great location, very responsive property manager, tiki hut with ceiling fan, lots of hangars on each closet (seems like a minor amenity but makes unpacking easier), bait freezer, lots of drawer space in each bedroom, four recliners in living room, drawers and counter space in each bathroom, nice dock and fish- cleaning table, covered parking for one car and plenty of room for another car and boat trailer, no stairs to climb, great views from living area through two sets of really nice sliding doors. The Cabana Club is another plus. Will be back next year.

Wonderful property

Perfect spot for fishing and boating. Love having the boat in the water ready to go! Tiki Hut was perfect for our evening dinner. Master bed was a little firm for my taste, but the other half loved it! Will come back for certain!

Everything was as described on the listing. We were able to fish off the canal and go pickelballing and the golf course was also used. The Cabana club was also a nice addition and we went there a few times. Close to everything that we wanted to do. We would love to stay here again!!!

Key Colony Beach Holiday Getaway

Our family of 4 stayed in Key Colony Beach from December 24-December 30 (we checked out a day early). When we arrived to the home, it was late in the evening, so we were eager to get to sleep. The following day was Christmas and we decided to make a meal, since alot of places were closed. Once our meal was ready, we started to remove plates and other serving dishes from the cupboards to use and noticed that the previous tenant or the person who cleaned the house put dishes away dirty. Many of the plates appeared to have been rinsed, but still had food or discoloration on them. We initially did not notice, but as we started to pull out additional plates, etc, we realized that many of them were not clean. We ended up having to remove all of the plates, bowls, and silverware from the cupboards and drawers and ran them through the dishwasher. Unfortunately, days later my husband ended up with a bacterial infection in his throat and was told by the urgent care physician he must have ate somewhere that the silverware, cup, etc wasn't clean. Thus, we ended up having to leave a day earlier than intended, since he was getting progressively worse. Also, another thing to note is that they do not provide cable or local TV, so you will need to sign up for You Tube, Netflix, or another streaming App if you want to utilize the smart TV. Otherwise, the house was as described and is in a nice neighborhood. We did use the cabana club 2 days and that really was an awesome experience.
