The cabin was just as advertised and fantastic! The location was very nice and convenient. Our host was extremely responsive and helpful. We could not have asked for a better experience!

Great home away from home! Perfect setting. Enjoyed taking walks, sitting on the porch and roaming the Maggie Valley area. First time going to Waterrock, quite the view!

Smoky Bear Cabin is amazing. It's so comfortable and has beautiful views in every direction. Brandon, the owner, was so welcoming and included of the information and instructions needed for a seamless stay. The area is incredible and so relaxing we spent one day just sitting on the porch listening to the birds and looking at the mountains. Perfect for a long weekend or even a week or two stay.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and had a wonderful weekend. We really loved the place—it was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we were hoping for. Seeing the elk was such a special experience and made the trip even more memorable.Check-in was easy and smooth, and communication with the property manager was excellent from start to finish. Everything was well organized, and we felt very taken care of during our stay.We couldn't have asked for a better anniversary getaway and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay.

Great layout and location. We went for a quick ski weekend and as always eat at Joey's Pancake House. This rental was right around the corner from Joey's, so it was close to everything. The cabin is beautiful with easy parking in driveway. Brandon was quick to respond with any questions. We will be back.

Perfect mountain getaway! The location is fantastic being so accessible to Maggie Valley sites and skiing. Adorable community! The property is so clean and well-maintained with all the little things you need such as trash bags, dish soap, shampoo, etc. We can’t wait to come back!

I cannot say enough good things about this property and the owner. He was so accommodating when ice in our hometown kept us from traveling on our initial date. The home is PERFECT! We enjoyed everything about it. It was close to the restaurants, skiing, and the best was the ELK that roamed in the neighborhood. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful property, quiet neighborhood, very clean and well stocked, all the basic amenities needed, very close to town. Communication from the host was always immediate and professional.

I currently live in Charlotte, NC with my wife, our 3 children and our dog. WE LOVE THE MOUNTAINS! It’s just under a 3-hour drive for us from Charlotte to Maggie Valley and we are over there every chance we get. Anytime the kids have no school on a Monday or Friday we are there for a 3-day weekend…doesn’t matter the time of year. The Maggie Valley / Waynesville area is the perfect location for anything you could want to do outdoors. Endless hiking, awesome waterfalls, tubing (snow & river), rafting, fishing, playing in the creeks, snowboarding & skiing, apple picking and on and on. Our family loves to be outdoors with nature every chance we get. What started with 1 vacation rental home in 2014 has now grown to 7. I personally manage all the listings, bookings and communication between guests to ensure an awesome trip. Any questions, comments, concerns or issues I am always available by phone, text or e-mail.

Smoky Bear Cabin is located in Crocketts Meadow, one of the most desirable neighborhoods in all of Maggie Valley. It's low down with extremely easy access to the house including a large driveway. Smoky Bear Cabin is a true log cabin with two master bedrooms each with their own bathrooms. The home has a great covered porch that extends along the front and side of the house. Elk often frequent the area in the evening and will walk right through the yard. The house is fully stocked with everything you need for a great mountain vacation. This house has been a vacation rental since 2015 with over 200 5-star reviews.
