Calming oasis

Great room and location. A few maintenance issues but nothing serious enough to deter from our overall experience. Beautifully decorated.

Overall, it was a good stay. Busy season, so it was a bit crowded and having to park across the street in the tight garage was not the best. The condo was perfect size for our group. I liked that it overlooked the lazy river too. Beach was clean and had a life guard on duty. Didnt care for the pool hours, 9am-10pm and strictly enforced. Must have swim band on. That was also strictly enforced.

Beautiful view

The condo is as it is shown. The building itself is a bit unkept. There were times when the main corridor was filthy. The condo itself was mostly clean but the master bathroom could have used a little more cleaning. We had some issues with garbage shoot and coffee machine but those were taken care of immediately. Overall for the money it was a great stay. The view of the ocean was the best and the easy access to the beach was awesome with little ones.

We had the best time with our vacation . Thomas Vacation Rentals/Vrbo was awesome to work with and exceeded our expectations. Payment & check in process were seamless. The condo itself was gorgeous from the colors to the furniture. The kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. The larger tvs were great. The location is prefect. North Myrtle is quiet yet so much to do and a short drive to some of the main attractions. The pool and lazy river were not working but we are beach people and the beach always works. The pool on south side was available for us to use if needed, but everyday was a beach day. We used the workout facilities regularly, small but was enough for us when not using outdoor options. One elevator was not working but was being fixed as we left, was not a problem at all. Parking was plentiful and permits were needed. Overall a wonderful vacation, and we will stay there again !

Not great

When we booked we booked for 10 people. 1. Only could take two showers and then had to wait for hot water. Never enough hot water. 2. Only 8 towels given, we spent each day doing laundry so we could shower. 3. One bathroom shower door kept falling off. 4. Drains were very slow, kept backing up. 5. One of the vehicles we were made to park off site and it was not close, very inconvenient. 6. The main pool was closed the entire time. Not cool and no communication about it. 7. The indoor pool was disgusting, so dirty. 8. The room itself was surfaced cleaned but under the beds and furniture had not been cleaned in a long time. 9. The check in process was absolutely ridiculous, when we arrived in site we were told we had to drive to another location. The only thing we did after driving 15 hours to get there only to get back in the car to go another 15 minutes was grab 10 rubber bracelets for the pool ( that was not opened) they could have been left in the room. 10. Washing machine was very dirty and had to be cleaned out, the agitator was plugged. Overall this was very disappointing, I would never stay here again. We called the number on the first day there to let them know about the shortage of towels it was after hours we left a message and no one called us back. I called towards the end of the 1st week and explained to a lady that the shower door keeps falling off and the tub drain was backing up and she said she would let them know. That was the last we heard.

No parking at the condo for our whole stay,we had to park across the street.Pool was only open for the last 4 days.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience you experienced with parking and the pool during your stay. We understand how frustrating it can be to have to park across the street and not have full access to amenities you were expecting. Unfortunately, individual complexes often use the off-season to complete maintenance, improvements, and necessary upkeep, and those decisions are made by the HOA. Because of that, we do not have control over temporary changes such as parking adjustments or amenity closures. That said, we truly apologize for the impact this had on your experience. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention and hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a smoother, more enjoyable stay in the future.
