Rural garden setting, private, yet close to shopping, dining, beaches

My wife and I enjoy travel, food and learning about the local culture and scene when we visit new places.
Typically, we look to stay at places that have good access to local sights, activities, restaurants, etc...with walking opportunities.

We found this property in early 2022 and felt it was a unique place...with lots of European charm in and out. The home is on 1/2 acre in a rural residential area providing a sense of privacy, nice views of the Santa Barbara foothills.
While a country setting, it is close to a few retail/restaurant/shopping areas for most anything that you would need.
Property is located 0.5 miles up the hill above Cathedral Oaks Road, which is the 'quiet' east/west corridor with bike lanes connecting to Foothill road...and onto downtown Santa Barbara

Walking: directly around the property are quiet rural/country roads and approximately 1 mile away there is a major retail, restaurants, grocery store area. The closest beach, Goleta Beach Park would be a 60-90 minute walk depending on route. The home is NOT within typical walking distance to downtown Santa Barbara (10 miles).

Biking: home is 0.5 mile from the Foothill Route bike lanes (running east/west on Cathedral Oaks and Foothill Roads), with access to various bike routes through Goleta, UCSB and Santa Barbara. Search 'Traffic Solutions Santa Barbara Bike Paths' for local maps

Driving: close to everything - UCSB, SBA Santa Barbara Airport, and within 30 minutes to Solvang, Santa Ynez, Carpinteria and many other areas of interest
