Cozy Alaskan-themed cabin just minutes from the airport. Step out onto the porch on a clear night and you might catch the Northern Lights! Close to several restaurants, as well as a nice walking path! Comfortable memory foam beds in the loft ( please see pictures to see layout of loft - one big open room ) with a futon bed on the main level. Fully equipped kitchen for cooking, games for those cozy nights in, and a smart TV! NO OVER NIGHT VISITORS!*WE HAVE OUTSIDE SECURITY CAMERA*

The hosts were extremely welcoming, accommodating and very communicative! The cabin was wonderful and is very much a home away from home. The scenery was stunning and gave us a much needed respite. It was within 10-20 minute drive of many things in the city worth checking out. We would highly recommend this cabin for anyone seeking some relaxation!

Small cabin with bedroom loft that felt bigger due to how well it is organized and decorated. Modern appliances that are clean and well-maintained. Would stay again with no hesitation.

We could not have loved it anymore, it was just what we needed at the right time. It is so comfortable from the living room with the comfy chairs,to the large kitchen , to the very comfortable bed.It was great!!

This is an amazing little cabin. Very welcoming and cozy. The owners are taking great care of your needs and are making you feel very comfortable. The beds are exceptional, especially if you have some back issues. We loved our stay here. The next time, we visit Fairbanks, we will definitely try to rent this cabin again.Thank you

Cozy cabin in the woods

We were imoressed from the moment we pulled into the driveway. This cabin has everything you need for a comfortable Alaskan style vacation. Very conveniently located to the University, airport and grocery stores.The hosts have thought of everything to make our stay amazing. Would highly recommend!!!! Loved it!!!

Great getaway cabin in Fairbanks

Very clean, very convenient and everything you need to explore Fairbanks and the surrounding area. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you need, including a lovely snack basket provided by the hosts. Danielle and Jack were very responsive.

Warm & Cozy Alaskan Cabin!

My BFF and I spent 8 nights here and did not want to leave! We looked for a property that would make us feel like we lived in Alaska, and the Lazy Bear Cabin was exactly that and more. Although only a short drive from the airport and very easy to find it was peaceful, quiet and felt as if we were out in the middle of the woods. The cabin is very clean, welcoming and looks exactly like the pictures posted. From the Alaska and bear themed decor to the comfy, warm beds for much needed rest after Aurora Borealis viewing to the thoughtful extra touches throughout the cabin to make us feel 'at home' we were extremely satisfied!! Our host was quick to respond when we had any questions and provides lots of information at the cabin regarding local shopping, dining, activities and more. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises, and would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking!!

Lovely cabin

We very much enjoyed our stay here. A very warm and inviting home. Having our own private space was so much nicer than staying in a cookie cutter hotel. The bed was super comfortable the cabin had everything we needed. The only disappointment was the water pressure but in this land of dry cabins we were happy to have a hot shower! I would stay again if we come back to the area.

Perfect Alaskan Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at Lazy Bear Cabin. Upon arrival we found the cabin to be very clean and tidy and well stocked with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The host made us feel welcomed with thoughtful touches like a personalized wall plaque hung and a snack basket on the table. They were also very responsive and accommodating which made our stay even more enjoyable. The cabin is located in a nice quite area and centralized for easy traveling to nearby activities. We went to Fairbanks for the Northern Lights, Dog Mushing, Snow Machining and a Reindeer Walk; and did all we planned and more. We were even thrilled by two moose right outside the cabin on our very first day! This was the perfect Alaskan cabin for our memorable trip to Fairbanks.

Heavenly wedding anniversary

My wife and i (from Honolulu, Hawaii) had our wedding anniversary here for 3 nights. So heavenly. We totally loved it. A very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. Far away enough to be serene, yet near enough to get supplies in the main city area, There were lovely treats waiting for us. The kitchen has all the cooking tools, cooking ingredients that we needed, and even condiments. We were here during winter, yet we could see a grill (for the family), also slide and swing for the children during other seasons. The owners, Danielle and Jack, are very friendly and communicative. There is even an indoor washer and dryer. We are definitely staying here on any future visits to Fairbanks. Aloha.

Cozy in Alaska

Very nice cabin. Clean and nicely decorated. Out in the country but 15 min. from town and airport. Warm inside and a plug for your car outside. Very nice kitchen to cook in on those cold nights.The owner quickly responded to any questions. Really quiet location. Definitely would stay again! Great cabin inside and out.

Cozy, inviting, and peaceful!!

I really loved this cabin! It was my first time staying in a cabin and the experience is one that I’ll always remember. It’s cozy, quiet, clean, spacious and just gorgeous especially with the snow in early December. Danielle is spot on with communication and decorating the cabin to fit the Christmas spirit I was looking for. I was also welcomed with snacks, candy, and a personalized welcome note! This will be my go to spot the next time I visit Fairbanks! Thank you Danielle for an unforgettable experience!

Nice place, great location

The Lazy Bear was a great place to stay. Out of the way (which we prefer) but only 15 minutes from pretty much everything in Fairbanks. Cozy and warm. All the amenities you could need.
