One of the highlights inside this stylish yet cozy home is without a doubt the hand painted mural by artist Susanne von Klingberg. The vibrant colors create the perfect backdrop for instaworthy selfies with your friends and family! Enjoy a large dining room, screened porch, fenced yard & much more!

Please note that there is another vacation rental on the same property. It is a small guest cottage in the back of the lot, next to the back alley. The properties are completely private and fully fenced in. There are no "shared" spaces, other than the parking (main house guests park under and in front of the carport, cottage guests park next to the carport).

We have thought of everything you could need to make this a memorable weekend in Sanford! Feel free to stock up the full bar and mix your favorite cocktails, enjoy board games (at the extra large dining table), a record player with vintage records or make your own music using our karaoke machine and speaker with wireless microphone. Plus, of course there is also a 65 inch smart TV with free Netflix and Hulu and high speed Internet available.
But best of all: you are only steps away from Historic Downtown Sanfordā€™s most active area! Breweries, bars, restaurants and shops can be reached within 2 minutes, walking! This location is truly giving you the best of both worlds: enjoy quiet walks through the gorgeous residential historic district with beautiful century old homes, cobblestone streets, towering oak trees and plenty of parks.
The mattresses in this mid century built bungalow are brand new high quality memory foam models (10 & 12 inches). Both bedrooms have large closets for lots of storage. One bedroom features a small work desk. There is a second workstation inside the dining room.
The kitchen offers all the small appliances you could need, as well as enough dishes and silverware for up to 8 guests.
The quirky flamingo pink bathroom features the original mid century tile (excuse the small rust stains, we wanted to preserve the character!) and offers plenty of storage space for your toiletries.
Enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast on the screened in porch, or spend some relaxing time in the fully fenced backyard from where you can admire some of historic Sanford's majestic trees. Enjoy a meal at the picnic table or read your favorite book on one of the comfortable garden chairs.
We sure hope you soak in all the art and inspiration in this home!!

This home was close to the Sanford Airport. Nice little town to wander around in.

We enjoyed our short visit after our cruise while waiting for our Monday flight. The house had everything we needed and having a washer and dryer was a plus. The town was just 2 blocks away and had lots of places to eat and also had a grocery store. 2 couples shared this property and the house is set up perfectly for that.

Great location to visit downtown Sanford and the St John's River

Although the property is old, it is well maintained. The hosts had many amenities such as shower materials and some food and coffee. The one bathroom is very small and accommodates one couple only. It is a good place to visit Sanford and the many restaurants and breweries in the area.

Everything you could ask for

The house, and everything you could ask for. It was beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, I was there to see a friend under hospice care, however, this was such a warm, inviting place to come home to as a refuge. I will definitely stay again.

Sweet Spot in Sanford

Great location! Can walk to downtown Sanford. The house is perfect. Much bigger than it appears in the photos. Perfect for two couples. Love all of the artwork and the extra special touches. Look forward to staying here again.

Roaring Good Time

This property was in the perfect location to walk to our concert at the West End Trading Co. It looks just the photos - only better! We were loving the tiger theme throughout. The beds were super comfortable. The hosts were super nice and left us a handwritten note and chocolates. We loved the private backyard area. The location really canā€™t be beat - you can walk to so many shops, restaurants and bars. We had the best time staying here for a birthday celebration!

Super cute decor

This place was all it was advertised to be. What a wonderful location, so close to the historic downtown area. Every nook and cranny was decored to perfection. We walked around in awe and wonder in every room admiring the quality of the decorating. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable. And thank you for the personalized surprises! We visited the Juice Cafe a few blocks down multiple times a day!

Best deal in Orlando

After 3 months of exploring Orlando this is the best place and the best deal by far. Unlike a lot of soulless vacation rentals, Jose and Claudia have put a lot of love and attention to detail into decorating this house. Absolutely beautiful property 1.5 blocks walking distance to downtown Sanford, one of the best 4K TVs, private off street parking, fully equipped kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, cozy porch and work space. everything you could need. Claudia and Jose are both really responsive and every detail is attended to. This is absolutely a hidden gem and the best place you could ever stay in Sanford. Canā€™t wait to come back soon!

AWESOME WALKABLE LOCATION!

Claudia's home was absolutely perfect! We decided to come down to Sanford for Porch Fest and make a girls trip out of it. The home's location is in the historic district and is a 3 minute walk right to downtown so we were able to just leave the car and explore at our leisure the entire weekend. The neighborhood is gorgeous and super fun to just grab a coffee and wander. Tons of locally owned restaurants and bars to choose from right down the street. The house itself is decorated beautifully. It's super fun and colorful and has a killer backyard with a gorgeous fire pit, perfect for hanging out and having a glass of wine. Beds were new, really comfortable and A/C works great! The home was super updated and all the finishes are beautiful. You can tell the moment you walk in that Claudia and her family pay attention to every detail. We loved our stay and will definitely choose their home every time we come back. We could not recommend this home more!

Hi there, we are Jose and Claudia and we look forward to hosting you and your family! We moved to Sanford in 2004 and fell in love with the historic district right away! We have two boys who love playing soccer, horseback riding - and being silly ;) Jose and I love to support local so you will often find us out and about! We love our little town of Sanford with all its unique businesses, cultural offerings, and popular events. One of our favorite events is Sanford Porchfest in February. We just finished building a home about a block away from this one, so we know this neighborhood inside out! We feel at home here, even though both Jose and I moved here from far away: Germany (Claudia) and Colombia (Jose). We enjoy traveling so we understand how important it is for guests to find a place that will make them feel at home. That's what we attempted when creating this very space! We selected only the best quality (mattresses, linens, furniture, etc.) and created various cozy areas where you can enjoy spending time with each other, or just relax and soak in the surroundings!

This home is located in popular Historic Downtown Sanford, just on the edge of the residential historic district with its beautiful historic homes and surrounded by beautiful majestic trees. From here you are only a couple of walking minutes away from bars, breweries, restaurants and shops! The Sanford Marina and Riverwalk are also within close reach. There is so much to explore here and you can do it all right from your doorstep!

O que faz essa propriedade ser Ćŗnica?

This home has been a bit of my passion project when it comes to decoration. I am a huge fan of the "Jungalow" style, created by Justina Blakeney, and you will find plenty of items that either come directly from her line or were inspired by it. The custom mural by Mural Artist Susanne von Klingberg was inspired by the Jungalow Tiger rug in the living room. Throughout the home you will find lots of "jungle elements". Another style that inspired me was without a doubt Mexican art, and I am sure you will see quite a few pieces that represent Mexican art.
