A wonderful getaway from the city in Oxford, Mississippi. This country house sits on 2 acres just 8 minutes from the Square and the University of Mississippi. It is off Hwy 6 W and Jackson Ave. Less than 2 miles to campus. Uber is easily available and drops off at the Square, the Grove or any location you need. There are 4 bedrooms; 3 Queens and 1 King. Bedroom 1 has a queen and shares jack and jill bathroom with bedroom 2 with queen. There is a hall bath with tub and shower across from bedroom 3 with queen. The king master bedroom has a tv, door to outside back porch and bath with small tub and shower. There are his and her closets also. The house consists of a small den which serves as an office with glass french doors, a combined dining room with a large round table which seats 8 and a large den with gas fireplace and wet bar. French doors open up to a back porch and large patio with hanging lights, blue tooth speakers and a large brick grill. The kitchen opens from the den with a large counter top with 4 bar stools. The kitchen is large and airy with a new oven and refrigerator. The laundry room is off the back hall from the kitchen, along with a totally new bathroom with shower. There is also a door from the back hall that opens onto back porch. The bonus room is a large downstairs room with 75” tv, 2 over sized leather couches, game table, along with 2 twin daybeds. There is a door from this room to the carport which will hold 4-6 cars depending on size. There are also several parking pads out front. What better way to enjoy country life so close to the city than to stay at Shadow Hill where you might spot deer, rabbits, raccoons and other wildlife.
