Best Location right by the ski-home trail! 3-level Townhouse at coveted Bears Crossing with free shuttle to Mt. Snow. Newly renovated END Unit. Sleeps 8. Moose House has 2 bedrooms & loft w/3 twin beds. 2 BA. New kitchen cabinets, hardwood flooring, carpeting and tiled floors, SS appliances, sinks, faucets, lighting, etc.

Clubhouse, fitness center, pool/ping pong. Gas firepit. Blowup mattress. Pack'n Play.

Wood fireplace. TVs in Great Room and Master Bedroom. Pottery Barn beds, RH chandelier. Beautiful views.

Grilling area, clubhouse with a fitness center, pool table, ping pong table and TV. Large gas firepit outside.

All linens and towels are provided. Kitchen is well equipped.

Complimentary private shuttle to the mountain just 2 minutes away is available on winter weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) and holidays.

The house is fully loaded with a fully equipped kitchen, toiletries, shampoo/conditioner/soap and books for all.

Nearby is the historic town of Wilmington which has several beautiful lakes where you can go swimming, kayaking, boating or fishing. Lots of trails available in the Green Mountain National Forest for hiking and mountain biking. Beer Festivals in the summer and fall are not to be missed. And it's a beautiful place to enjoy the fall foliage too. Nearby is Stratton Ski Resort - about a 25-minute drive away.

Moose House is located in West Dover, VT in the heart of the Green Mountain National Park - 3.5 hour drive from New York City, 2.5 hour drive from Boston.

RESERVATION CONFIRMATION:
Your reservation will be confirmed upon completion of the Guest Registration Form required by the HOA and submission of a copy of your drivers license.

MASTER BEDROOM
1 Queen bed suite with memory foam mattress topper. Down comforter. Ensuite Full bath. Pack and Play crib in loft.

SECOND BEDROOM:
2 twin beds with memory foam mattress topper.

Loft overlooks Great Room

Ski Resorts • Mt. Snow ski resort is a 1-mile drive and you may use our complimentary private shuttle to/from the mountain on weekends and holiday weekdays. There is a private ski-home trail from the top of Mt Snow that you can ski down to the condo.

Stratton ski resort is a 25-minute drive from the townhouse.

Hiking • The Green Mountain National Forest is a great place to hike around and explore Haystack Mountain Trail. The Harriman Reservoir is a short 30-minute drive and is a great place to enjoy kayaking and lakeshore hiking.

Nancy was a superb host. She went the extra mile. The condo was immaculate and in a lovely area. The pool and the clubhouse amenities were great too. The beds were very comfortable.

Please don’t stay here this lady is so annoying we left something belongings behind and we came back to grab them and this lady made a huge deal about she even called the police please people for your own good stay away from this place

You are admitting to breaking and entering into our condo yourself! You checked out in the morning and then re-entered without authorization at 4pm which is the check-in time for new guests. Not only is that against the law, but you jeopardized our new renters for that day. I did not call the cops but am absolutely still considering filing charges against you. Had you let me know you needed to re-enter the condo, I would have looked into arranging it in a professional manner. It's clear from your review that you still don't grasp the severity of what you did. I have been a host for many years and have never an encountered a group like yours. You trashed my place, you broke multiple rules including being too noisy and sneaking in two extra people beyond what you had paid for. My housekeeper was horrified at the mess you left behind. The name you made the booking under is a fake name you made up as it does not match the name you listed on the parking form. Absolutely awful experience.

I always give myself a little bit of time before I write a review. The location is very nice. The amenities provided was on point. You can really tell that the hostess wants anybody renting to be comfortable. The whole house is kept up clean & beautiful. Loved the pool.One thing that my family didn’t care for, is the AC to fan ratio throughout the home. There is one AC put in the 1st floor bedroom, which is a little bulky & not quiet. The rest of the house was hot because there is no AC. The hostess DOES provide plenty of fans. The downfall of that is, when you have a fan on you all the time, your throat starts hurting. When the fan is on high on the 2nd floor, you can hear it when you’re in the 1st floor bedroom. Understand that Vermont is more of a wintry resort for skiing. (Suggesting) in the summer an AC unit be provided in the main part of the home for everybody can be comfortable. That was the only negative thing my family had to say. Other than that they were very happy & had fun.1 problem/complaint I ran into right away was the fridge/freezer. It was at the highest # but not staying its temperature. I reported it right away. Ice cream that took 3 days to freeze. I took pictures & sent to the hostess. The reply was there shouldn’t be that much items in it. That was crazy, when there was nothing covering the vents. I thought I would be told, I’ll have it looked at. *NO I was offered that 6 people can leave & a partial refund. Didn’t see that reply coming but ok.

We are so happy you found the condo to be in a nice location and comfortable for you and your family. Our listing and welcome message made clear how the condo was cooled and we are one of few properties in VT that even offer AC. We always recommend renters to read the full listing description so they have proper expectations. We are a bit confused about your comment about the fans hurting your throat. Regarding the fridge, the technician confirmed that there was nothing wrong with it. He said that when the fridge is overfilled, cooling will be slower as the airflow becomes quite restricted. (With all due respect, this is common knowledge.) Based on the photos of the food in the fridge you sent us, we did repeatedly recommend you to remove some of the items but you seemed insistent on keeping everything in there. We did kindly offer you a refund for the remainder of your stay in case you wanted to check out early as it would be a few days before a service technician could come out. We are not certain how that rubbed you the wrong way unless you look at everything through a negative lens. We did notice you have less than stellar reviews from your previous hosts. We're glad you and your family had fun and we wish you well.

Weekend getaway

Great condo with super easy access to the mountain. It was a perfect layout for our group of 3 adults and 3 kiddos. Nancy was quickly responsive and easy to work with. We’d definitely stay again.

Modern Cabin feel in a great location

We had a great stay. Nancy was extremely responsive, helpful and accommodating. The place was immaculate and exactly as described. Close to Mt Snow. Shuttle picks you up at the end of the street or it’s a quick drive if you prefer. Close to markets and restaurants.

Ski weekend

Wonderful time. The place was great just as advertised. Easy to get to slopes via moover shuttle. We were 6 adults and all enjoyed the space. Only surprise was bathrooms were on bottom floor. But no big deal. Thanks Nancy! We hope to make this an annual weekend.

Jeff, I'm so happy that you and your group had such a great time. For clarity to those reading this review, the townhouse has 3 levels: the ground level first floor, the second floor and the loft space. The bathrooms are on the first floor where the bedrooms are which makes it convenient for everyone especially at nighttime. There is one bathroom in the hallway and the other is ensuite with the Master. I mention this to make sure that people don't misunderstand your comment and think the bathrooms are in the basement or something! Looking forward to hosting you again. Nancy

Perfect ski condo

Nancy's place was perfect for a ski weekend. A mudroom for your ski gear, a spacious living area with a fire place, and only a few minutes away from the mountain. We took the ski home trail form the mountain which was our favorite run of the day. And the exit for the trail is very close to the condo. We were also able to do some sledding on the end of the trail with some sleds Nancy had at the house. Nancy was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. There are a few things you need to do at the end of your stay.

Nancy our host was great! On point communication complete with pictures of the snow we went up for!

Clean fun condo just a couple of minutes away from Mount Snow. A few of my friends and I come up every year for St Pat Day to ride the Mt. Nancy our host went out of her way with out me even requesting pictures of the newly fallen snow to make sure I brought boots and to get excited about our day! She also gave me some recommendations to some near by food and drinks. Because the snow was so bad she reached out to one of her friends just incase we needed backup parking due everyone cleaning up the snow. We didn't have to use it but it was nice of her to have a backup plan. Communication on point! Would definitely stay there again!

The condo was clean and neat. However, I had to message the host to get the log in code as they never sent it to me or VRBO and then when we arrived it didn't work, although the host did respond and problem resolved within 15 minutes. Things not on the listing The bedroom and two bathrooms are on the first floor, kitchen and LR on the second and 3rd bedroom on the third. So you had to keep going downstairs to go the bathroom and if someone sleeps in the loft it's two flights to get to the bathroom. Everything in the condo is very basic and clearly hasn't been updated in years. The mattresses are hard and uncomfortable. The kitchen items such as coffee pot, range and toaster are as cheap and basic as you can buy. Also we were left exactly two old bath towels and 2 hand towels for a 3 night stay in a 3 bedroom condo, as well as only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. No wash clothes and no access to extra anything as all closets were locked. It served it's purpose but would not choose to stay here again.

The townhouse was very nice, well equipped and clean. We enjoyed our stay and exploring the surrounding area, did take advantage of the beautiful pool. Nancy was a great host and provided us a lot of good information, we would definitely stay here again

Getting this home was a dream come true for us and we are excited now that all our renovations are completed. All we ask is that you take as good care of it as we do so that we can all continue to enjoy it for a long time to come.

This is a special property as it is located in the coveted Bears Crossing Community. This unit is right near the ski home trail and it is an end unit, thereby giving you more privacy.

The amenities of the Clubhouse and Association are incredible. The BBQ and firepit area, clay tennis court, ping pong table, pool table, fitness center, TV hangout area, heated pool for the summer, the list goes and on...

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

What makes Bears Crossing so unique is that you get the conveniences of a condo with full on amenities, extreme proximity to the mountain (which literally backs up to the townhouse) while also being nestled in the Green Mountain forests. This way you don't feel like you're in a condo complex, but rather just an incredible community. Beautiful landscaping and flowers in the summer.
