Great Family Vacation

This is our 2nd time staying at Marriott Ocean Pointe. The resort is perfect for families and makes everything so easy. The listing was just as detailed and the room was newly renovated. There are several pools and the hotel is very close to the beach.

Marriott Ocean Pointe

We had a great time at Marriott Ocean Pointe and would consider staying again. The activities were great for our kids. If you’re looking for a nice, easy spot for a family vacation I would recommend Marriott Ocean Pointe. The staff was very friendly. Security was on site at all times which made us feel safe as well.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Marriot's Ocean Pointe. The room was perfect, and the resort provided plenty of activities. Only complaint was that the resort lacked sufficient choices to dine. The one restaurant was fine, but would have preferred more options.

Very comfortable. Many programs, even got 30 minutes from a geek to fix my computer program. Everything in good shape and working properly. Property engineer came quickly for a minor problem. Pools great. One large for lap swimming, seldom crowded in late day. Beach convenient walk.

Family Holiday Vacation

I can't say enough about this resort. It was wonderful, fun, peaceful, just what our family was looking for. There were so many activities and the kids loved it, they actually stayed outside all day instead of going up to the room and getting on their IPads! We have a great time, everyone there was so friendly and helpful, didn't have to leave the resort hardly at all. I am so happy I came across Vacation Candy and will be using them in the future many more times! They were excellent in getting back to my about concerns I might have. We truly had a wonderful time and still talk about this trip and how it was one of the best one we have taken so far.

Amazing!

Our family had the best time of our life! The kids loved all the activities, the condo was great, the beach was wonderful, the pools were fantastic. I can't say enough about this place and Vacation Candy. I am so lucky to have found them when I did. I will definitely be using them again and hoping to go back this year if not to Florida then somewhere else. We still talk about our trip there and how much fun we had and how relaxing it was. Seriously can't think of anything negative about this place or Vacation Candy. Excellent service.

Not so bad

Great stay we had during our end of June vacation. There are 4 buildings in Marriott ocean point. Make sure you know that the 4th building is very far from the other main buildings. U have to walk. With kids it was very inconvenient and tiring because we had strollers. Wished we have gotten a room closer to the main pools. Because there were so much to do for kids there.

Wonderful property.I will continue to book with VRBO.However, I paid a lot for ocean front - we ended up with a side condo that had a south facing view of the ocean. Not what I thought I was paying so much for.This was a Marriott property, but we booked through VRBO, so Marriott would not help with a room change. Disappointed in our view for sure, but we still had a great time.

Perfect Post-COVID Getwaway

We were looking for a relaxing getaway as COVID winds down and found it at Marriott's Ocean Point. Clean, well-appointed condo with large, heated pools and ocean right out your door. The most friendly and accommodating staff we've ever experienced. A handful of restaurants within walking distance and others a short drive away. Be sure to reserve a spot in their daily aqua class (fun and a decent workout too). Note that Oceanside does not necessarily mean an amazing ocean view. Definitely a senior crowd but there's a dedicated water area for little ones.

Really nice option

If you're looking for a resort destination with great beach access, lots of pools and convenience to an airport, then this is a great option. The only drawback is we did not know where our room was going to be. This is a big property with five buildings. Four are right next to each other and one is off by itself and that's the building we were in. Certainly not the end of the world, but would have been nice knowing that before spending the money.
