Chateau Lake Louise is a 4,200 sq. ft. luxurious executive home. The 5 bedroom, 4 bath home sleeps 13 in 3 king beds, 1 queen bed, 3 twin beds, a queen sleeper sofa, a full-sized crib and a portable crib. The home is so spacious that everyone will have some space to themselves and lots of gathering places to play games, share a meal and/or a conversation or watch the latest on the SMART TV.

The Chateau sits on beautiful Lake Louise, a calm 300 acre lake, and is located just 4 miles from downtown Alexandria, Minnesota. Rental includes a pontoon and paddleboat to explore, fish, swim and enjoy this beautiful quiet lake. You are likely to see and hear loons during the summer season while out boating or spending time on the dock.

The main level boasts a professional gourmet kitchen (truly outfitted with everything you need), an open living/dining room with a dining table that sits 16, master bedroom suite, a second main-floor bedroom and bathroom, as well as an up-to-date laundry room. The massive windows and patio doors face the lake and welcome the outside in. Walk out the kitchen door for a gas grill and outside seating for a meal or before dinner appetizer.

The walk out level offers a family room featuring a mini kitchen, ping pong table, foosball table and big screen SMART TV, 3 additional bedrooms, a second laundry room, and a three-season porch with a queen-size sofa sleeper. It also provides access to decks, patios, gas grill, swing set, picnic area, fire pit (some wood is supplied), sandy beach, pontoon and paddleboat.

While Chateau Lake Louise is not wheelchair accessible, from the driveway the entry to the open main floor with its decks and living areas requires only one step up. The access to the lake has been landscaped so there are never more than 5 stairs at a time. There is also a public boat access just down the road if you would like to pick someone up or launch your own boat.

Pontoon available from Fishing Open until on or near Oct 1st. If ice-out is late, pontoon may be delayed. We don't adjust our prices because they reflect the possibility of late ice-out.

Lic #1851 - Douglas County VRBO ordinance limits overnight capacity is 12 people ages 6 and up with children 5 and under not included in the total for all VRBO properties. Not more than 12 additional daytime guests are permitted by Douglas County VRBO requirements. Owner may have additional requirements. Parking is limited to 6 cars with no street parking.
