Everything was exactly as advertised. The setting is private and the views of First Connecticut Lake and surrounding mountains were great! The kitchen was well stocked and the grill had plenty of propane. We enjoyed using the fire pit in the yard and the propane fire table on the deck. Marlene was a very responsive host. We would definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful space! We had a wonderful stay with 2 kiddos and 3 adults. The bunk beds were definitely a plus. There were tons of games and puzzles that really added to the experience. We loved the outdoor space and the kids really enjoyed running around on the grounds. We were able to enjoy the fire table and some clear gorgeous views. Make sure to visit Green Acres Country Store for cinnamon rolls and English muffin bread. Can’t wait for our next visit!

This beautiful cabin was exactly as advertised. Perfect spot on the lake, with a gorgeous deck for viewing. The home was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.There were also lots of interesting things to look at which made it cozy and feel very homey. There were also well placed cozy lamps, blankets, etc. We had 60 weather in July so the coziness of it was much appreciated.Communication with the owner was very easy, she was very responsive and helpful.

Wonderful stay with amazing view!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the property, as it was well kept and had everything we needed to enjoy a nice, toasty warm getaway from home! The wood burning stove, spacious and comfortable rooms - along with the incredible view of First Connecticut Lake made for an unforgettable experience!

Snowmobile Trip

Excellent accommodations. Located right on the lake. Easy trail access for snowmobiling. Host was quick to respond and the property was nicely stocked with all the necessities.

Spectacular location right on the First Connecticut Lake. House had everything we needed: comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, kayaks, puzzles and games, grill and sunny deck. Owner was very responsive and friendly. Eould definitely stay here agsin.

Great Private Lakefront Cabin

This cabin has great lake frontage (facing SW), is very well equipped and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised at how private it was - there was no visibility to/from neighboring properties. There are great places to set up hammocks. We only wish that there was more of a beach.

Thank you so much for your review and thoughtful suggestions to make our guests stay more enjoyable. The lake is so high right now from all the rain we’ve had the beach is underwater. We have a solve for that as we are installing a dock to make access easier when water levels are so high. Thank you again!

Girls Weekend

My Mom, my two daughter and I wanted a girls weekend away before the end of summer and back to school for the kids. We enjoyed the peace and quite and the view off the back porch was gorgeous.

Stunning views of Lakes and Wildlife - Pittsburg, NH

The view from the house is spectacular, and it's just a short walk to the water where you can launch water toys. You can also enjoy plenty of adorable wildlife, such as deer, loons with their babies, and a moose cow with her calf. Be sure to venture out and explore the area; there are many wonderful places to visit, including East Inlet, Boundary Pond, Terrill Pond, the Magalloway fire tower, and Garfield Falls. Don’t forget to bring your kayak!!!

Family Time in the Burgh

The cablin was in a great location and almost everything you could need. Would have given 5 stars but there was very little propane for the grill and fire pit. It was very clean and well-organized but the back two bedrooms are a little damp. But all in all it was great place to spend time with the family.

Thank you so much for your stay. As we discussed there were opportunities to replace/refill propane in the areas and we were happy to reimburse you. Apologies the weather was the most humid of weeks we’ve had this year. There were fans, air conditioners and windows available for your comfort. The lake is also an amazing resource to cool off on really hot, humid days. Happy, safe travels back home!

Stunning Lakeside Nature Escape!

This house is lovely! Right away it felt warm, cozy, and welcoming. Lots of seating is available in the living room for everyone to relax. The beds were all comfortable (according to my teenage sons, my husband, and me). We spent a ton of time kayaking on the lake - it's stunning both rain or shine. There are beautiful trails to hike within a very short drive. This is the perfect place for people who want to be surrounded by nature. There are houses nearby, but you can't see your neighbors (or hear them). It rained quite a bit, so we spent a few evenings around the fire, playing games, doing puzzles, and watching movies. On the clear evenings, we all sat on the porch and looked up at the stars. If it wasn't raining, we sat around the propane firepit with a drink or tea. On clear nights there was barely any light pollution (new moon helped) and the Milky Way was just overhead. Gorgeous star gazing. We saw countless shooting stars with the loons singing in the background. This was the perfect nature getaway that we needed. I don't think the photos do the lake justice. It's magnificent! A quick kayak across the lake and you are on a secluded beach that's part of a national park. Nobody but you and the peace and quiet of the day. We would definitely like to come back to this beautiful place. Thank you!!!
