Pittsburgh

This house was exactly right for my family visit to Pittsburgh. It is in a quiet neighborhood and we were able to get a good night's sleep every night of our stay! Even though we ate out and didn't need to use it, the host has a well equipped and clean kitchen!

The property was nice and kitchen was setup for if you plan on cooking in which we did alot. The only negative I would have we looked in linen closet and only found one washcloth so family of 3 kind of hard to use one washcloth. So I could have missed if they were in different area of house. But bathroom didnt have any towels in it when we arrived had to get out of linen closet.

We had a fantastic time in Pittsburgh

The property we stayed in was phenomenal. It is situated in a great neighborhood with a quick and easy commute to downtown Pittsburgh. Everything in the home was clean and neat and the property owner was very easy and quick to deal with. This property will be on our list to stay at again!

Great stay in Brookline

House has a great location. Close to the Liberty Tunnels and just a couple of blocks from Brookline Blvd. Quite and safe neighborhood. The space is typical of a house in the south hills built in the 1950s. An overall positive experience for a family of five.

Stop Scrolling-Book this house now!

Stayed in this adorable home in the quaint Brookline area for our annual summer trip to the Burgh. Everything was just as the photos. Super clean, comfortable beds, stocked kitchen! Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Daniel is a SUPERSTAR host. Checked on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks Daniel!!

Pittsburgh Stay

Overall our experience was very good. The communication between owner was very responsive to any of my questions. Only one small issue was we had kids with us and the grass looked like it had not been cut in a long time. It was at least 18-24 inches high.

Convenient, clean stay in Brookline

This home was cozy and comfortable for our family of 6. We needed to be in town near family in Dormont, and this was close by, and easily accessible. It's just as advertised- on a steep hill. It is an older home with character, with creaks and groans. It did not bother us, but this may not be the place for you if you are a very light sleeper. Daniel was perfectly communicative and a wonderful host!

Classic Pittsburgh home

No problems just something to know: 1. House is on a steep hill (classic Pgh) with plenty of parking but, tight because of the number of driveways. including the one for this house. 2. the floors are creeky, everystair and every footfall. All wood floors make for easy cleaning (understandable) but not a quiet stay for a light sleeper. 3. Kitchen sufficient, but we didn't try to cook there. 4. Would rent again.

Good points but the bad points outweigh it.

The house is an older home, nothing special, but more space than a hotel room. The best part about it was the location. With that being said, upon check in I was informed by the owner that the shower had to be turned on "with force"... I thought that would not be an issue, I was wrong. My husband was the only one who ever got a shower all weekend... and even that he could only make happen once. The force it takes to even turn the water on pulls the faucet away from the wall, the whole time wondering how much force is too much and am I going to break it.... after reporting the problem there was some miscommunication. Overall I would have NEVER booked this had I known this was going to be such a problem. After check out the owner did try and make amends but not enough to make up for it. We had a busy weekend and being able to shower is a real MUST have.

Brookline is a quaint neighborhood in Pittsburgh’s South Hills area, conveniently located on the city’s T line with a direct route to downtown. Adjacent to Mt. Lebanon and Dormont, this neighborhood features restaurants, shopping, bars, and movie theaters.

The house is located on a quiet street, 5 min by foot to local bars, restaurants, and the McNeilly “T” Station; 15 min by car to downtown and Pittsburgh favorites: Acrisure Stadium, PNC Park, PPG Arena, Station Square, Three Rivers Casino, South Side, Duquesne Incline. You will be only 10 minutes or 4.5 miles from the Grandview Overlook at Mt Washington, a famous viewpoint in Pittsburgh.

Restaurant options are many and varied in the Brookline neighborhood. Brookline Boulevard is the main street everybody goes to. Mexican grocery store Las Palmas Carniceria sells some of the city’s best tacos from their sidewalk stand. Pitaland has been a Brookline Middle Eastern staple for nearly fifty years. No Name Coffee Shop is a classic hole-in-the-wall diner. Party Cake Shop and ice cream shop Scoops are on the Boulevard for sweet treats. Brookline Pub has local drafts, barbecue ribs and killer nightly specials. ‘Burgh Bits and Bites offers walking food tours of Brookline.

Moore Park or Brookline Memorial Park feature recreation centers, athletic fields and playgrounds. Brookline Memorial Park is also the start and end point for the Brookline Breeze, an annual 5K run that has been held in the neighborhood since 1982.

Brookline boasts one of the most beautiful branches of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, complete with ample meeting space and plenty of kid-friendly features. The library has been serving the community since 1930.
