We stayed four nights in this beautiful home in Richmond and had a wonderful time. The house is tastefully and comfortably furnished, and had everything we needed ā€“ and more.We explored San Francisco by taking the ferry from Richmond, which was very convenient. At the end of the day, it was such a treat to relax on the terrace and enjoy the stunning view over the water, including the Golden Gate Bridge.The beds were a bit firm for our personal taste, but thatā€™s of course subjective.Overall, we had a very positive experience ā€“ both with the house and with the communication from the owner. Highly recommended!

Amazing View, and Spacious

This stay was enjoyable for us. The unit was spacious with two rooms, and two bathrooms! Also, a large living and dining room, open concept to the kitchen and plenty of lounge space on the balcony. The safety railing of the property obstructs the beautiful view of the bay when sitting on the patio furniture however if youā€™re standing up you can see the Pacific Ocean, the Golden Gate Bridge, the bay bridge, and the city of SF. The unit was also what I would call ā€œbougieā€, very classy & upscale. From the fixtures in the bathrooms and kitchen to the espresso machine! Oh, watch out for the raccoons too! They come out at night. My only recommendation to the owners is to deep clean the unit. There was pet hair and human hair everywhere. It kind of grossed me out, especially when I would take off my socks and see how much hair and dirt they accumulated. The bathroom rug in the bathroom with the bathtub was so dirty. There was ant bait all over the unit too. The unit desperately needs a thorough deep clean and dusting. Also, one of the beds had blood stains and what appeared to be an old large orange stain of some sort on the linens. This was so disgusting! How do you place blood stained bedding for your guests? We paid a pretty penny to stay in the unit. I still gave 5-stars because the issues we noticed can be easily addressed and did not ruin our stay necessarily. However hopefully the owners address the concerns immediately so that future tenants do not have the same experience.

Beautiful views!

The property was beautiful and clean as advertised. Check in and out was very easy. William was always responsive and timely, and accommodating. Probably pretty obvious from the photos, but it may be a challenge for anyone with physical limitations to get luggage etc up the front steps to the entrance. That being said, it is absolutely worth it for the spectacular view!! I would definitely come back!

Always our favorite Bay Area stay

The views of the SF Bay from the all-glass front living/dining room is incredible as well as from their beautiful deck. Beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the interior design is beautiful. The host is very responsive. This home has become our favorite stay away from home.Point Richmond is perfectly located for easy travel to Marin, San Francisco and the East Bay.

Great view, quiet neighborhood!

My fiancƩe and I stayed here with another couple (4 total) for 5 days to catch the NFL game and explore the area. As frequent home stay travellers, this is one of the most equipped stays we have been in- from laundry to shower supplies to the multiple coffee maker selection - it was great! The location is quiet and safe (a car is best and made it very accessible) and a great stay for us as 2 couples, as the rooms were across the living area from one another. The location was surprisingly close to everything despite being across the bay (15-30 mins to anywhere- even downtown SF- other than San Jose), and the host was responsive with advice and suggestions from the start of our booking. The place itself is a guesthouse and the beds are Murphy beds, but both rooms have an en suite bathroom and are tastefully decorated! Highly recommend this place for a great stay and a good location for adventuring!

Cute, stylish, double master bedrooms w/ ensuite bathrooms!

This house was so cute and stylish and comfortable! We loved being in a quiet and safe neighborhood just outside the city. It felt very relaxing! And the views were beautiful! Shops, charging stations, and restaurants were all nearby, and we enjoyed making coffee and breakfast at home each morning! William was so kind in offering suggestions for our stay, and in making the check in process easy. Also, the washer and dryer were so nice to have as we did one load of laundry half-way through our trip, and another when we had a split coffee incident. ;-) We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Nice Experience

I had good communication with Bill ahead and during our stay. The view of the SF Bay is a big seller for this rental and it didn't disappoint. Overall, the rental was nicely updated and had essential appointments & furnishings. I didn't read the description thoroughly to see that there is no air conditioning. It was rather warm during our stay and the afternoon sun shines into the west fronting sliding glass door and windows. The evenings had a little but mostly no breeze; however, we could open the sliders which had screens for some relief. However, after closing up for the night-we found that the bedroom windows had no screens so, we couldn't open the windows at night because of mosquitoes. No ceiling or portable fans for air movement either. I did bring this up to Bill upon our departure, and he said they are spoiled by the usual bay breezes. But, would look into getting fans and screens for the windows. Otherwise, we weren't at the rental except for returning in the evenings for rest after busy days at baseball games and exploring the Bay area.

We built the guest house 3 years ago and list with VRBO when family and friends are not staying there. We are looking for couples and friends through VRBO who are interested in exploring the Bay Area and Napa and Sonoma Valleys and the north coast.

Our home is new (3years old) custom designed and nicely finished with a view out the Golden Gate Bridge and across from the City of San Francisco to southern Marin County. Two queen hideaway beds are extremely comfortable and the full kitchen is more than adequately supplied.
