Step into Hale Alana, a Polynesian-inspired home situated on a 1/2 acre tropical paradise. With three inviting bedrooms, two being tranquil principle suites, this spacious abode seamlessly marries island charm with contemporary comforts.

From the expansive 72’ lanai, enjoy sweeping vistas of the Pacific. Spot playful whales from December to April and be captivated by Maui's breathtaking sunsets. The centerpiece of this home is the enchanting non-heated lava rock pool, accompanied by a cascading waterfall, offering moments of pure rejuvenation. For a touch of modern luxury, submerge into serenity in the new hot tub, perfectly positioned on the lanai.

Inside, there is au Fitjitsu split system AC in all rooms, including a brand new 3Ton AC added to living room for ultimate comfort, multiple color TVs, a Bose Bluetooth speaker, as well as a fully-appointed kitchen ready for your vacation meals. After exploring the island's beauty, refresh in the outdoor shower. As evening embraces the island, light up the BBQ on the lanai, and enjoy the night sky.

Situated in the peaceful Maui Meadows neighborhood, Hale Alana is a fully permitted vacation rental just a ten-minute drive from the pristine beaches of South Maui. Dive into Maui's diverse offerings, from snorkeling to exploring its rich culinary delights and cultural experiences. The best of Wailea/Kihei’s dining, shopping, and recreation awaits nearby.

Kindly note, the pool is accessed at the base of the driveway. A legally permitted tenant cottage, home to our on-site property manager, stands discreetly at the property's edge. Rest assured, the gardens and pools remain exclusive for Hale Alana guests and the property manager.

The home is thoughtfully organized, immaculate and perfect for two couples or multi-generational families. The owner/host is accessible, instructions for the home are clear. This house was just perfect. We could not get enough of the amazing view with beautiful sunsets every day. The pool was nice. The location was perfect and very short drive to beaches, stores, restaurants, etc. The host Martha was very kind and accommodating. Perfect and memorable

It had been 20 years since being back to Maui. This is a great location, with fantastic views, beautiful back yard and fun pool. The ambiance of the home is perfect! The host makes the stay all the better. We loved being at this home versus a resort. We will recommend to all and hope to return! Mahalo!

A perfect gateway!

We had an amazing time at this vacation rental! Right from the start, we were blown away by how clean, spacious, and well-equipped the house was. It looked just like the photos and description on VRBO. The kitchen had everything we needed to whip up our meals, and the living areas were perfect for the whole family. The deck with the hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind after a long day at the beach, and the sunset views were just incredible. We even caught some fireworks from the Grand Wailea resort! Plus, the location was super convenient, with stores, coffee shops, and one of the best beaches we've ever visited, Makena, just a stone's throw away.Martha, our host, was so attentive and thoughtful, giving us clear instructions and quick replies to any questions we had. It really felt like a home away from home, and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Wailea Oasis

We had the best time staying here and made lifelong memories with our kids. Such a unique house, the layout was perfect with the two masters and kids room for our family. The view was incredible from just about any room in the house including the hot tub. Our favorite feature was the custom mushroom shaped pool, we spent countless hours swimming and the water was the perfect temperature, not cold at all! Martha and Ben were great hosts, very friendly and gave us so many recommendations for entertainment and restaurants that made our trip even better. Looking forward to coming back! Mahalo!

But, I have to say, this one tops them all. First off, the house is beautiful, spotless, and meticulously maintained. It sits on a hill at the north edge of Wailea overlooking a perfectly manicured back yard, a stunning pool, and a wide expanse of ocean, islands, and sunset.It’s a very short trip down the hill to a fun & lively area of Kihei, full of casual bars & restaurants. It’s an even shorter trip to the resort area of Wailea & all of its amenities. And the beaches - well, just pick one. They’re all right there. Depending on what vibe you like, it’s within 5-10 minutes from the front door.The on-site manager is kind, responsive, and available if you need her.I highly recommend this rental & am looking forward to returning soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental is just fabulous. To start, the location is great- very close to South Maui Gardens, restaurants and many lovely beaches. The house is spacious, comfortable and super clean. The bathrooms are very nice, especially the 2 towards the back side of the house. The hot tub is perfect and the view is breathtaking. We especially loved watching the amazing sun sets from there! The real highlight for us as we have 3 kids was the pool. It, and the entire backyard area, is a haven of peace and luxury. The pictures simply don't do it justice. We swam daily, and really loved the waterfall feature (runs 9am to 4pm) , the tropical plants, the statues, and the pool equipment provided.The air conditioning works really well and the beds were comfortable. The house is fully, even more than fully, equipped with first aid, kitchen supplies, reef safe sunscreen, and ALL of the beach equipment you may need. There is a whole closet of it in the garage. The property managers are responsive and helpful. We had everything we needed and more. This property is expensive for a reason- we found it to be 100% worth it.

Island Oasis

I was so excited to find this property when looking for places to stay on Maui and it absolutely did not disappoint. It’s well stocked with everything you may need, whether you’re hanging around the house (like I did) or looking to go to the nearby beaches. Sweeping ocean views with spectacular sunsets are the highlight. I spent my mornings on the Lanai watching the boats and the afternoons by the pool, either cooling off in the water or in the shade on the deck. Martha was a great host, checking in to make sure our stay was satisfactory but also providing some personal touches since I was celebrating a milestone birthday. This is a truly fantastic property, so glad we were able to find it. It made for 5 nights in Paradise! If you’re on the fence, don’t be. Book it.

Every imaginable amenity is provided in a house which easily accommodates six people. We enjoyed being close to Wailea, great golf, spectacular beaches, whale watching and snorkeling cruises, and excellent restaurants while being able to reach Maui upcountry within a short drive. Hale Alana is expertly managed by Martha and Ben, who ensured we had everything we needed for a terrific family vacation.

Beautiful Property with Full Ocean Views

The home was clean and tidy, the rooms and beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed in order to cook meals at home with the family. The garden is spectacular and allows for peaceful hang outs by the lava rock pool. We enjoyed the ocean view while relaxing in the hot tub on the lanai and watching the sunsets every night. Keawakapu beach is a 7 min drive away and the home had all the beach supplies including lots of towels and beach chairs needed for a day out. Martha was amazing and responsive and checked in with us to ensure we had everything that we needed. Highly recommend!

There was plenty of room for everyone to gather together or have some privacy. The outdoor space and views were fabulous. The pool area was lovely although the water was too cold for me! We spent time watching the whales, grilling meals and relaxing on the spacious lanai. Martha had everything we could want or need. The house has everything for going to the beach to books, games, cleaning supplies to dishes and serving pieces for having a dinner party. There was comfortable bedding, towels and toiletries. The residential neighborhood was quiet and close to beaches, restaurants and shopping. It was a perfect stay and I can’t say enough positive things about our great stay here!

Beautiful Property for Relaxation and Respite

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wow, this place is incredible! Immediately upon arrival we were taken aback by the beauty of the location, decor, and landscaping. The entire property is so well maintained and equipped, and extremely comfortable. All of the bedrooms were beyond our satisfaction in terms of bed comfort, bathroom amenities, and space. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the cookware and tools you'd need. The views from all parts of the house were amazing - the bedrooms and showers had incredible ocean views, and the amount of space on the lanai was so wonderful. We were able to do yoga on the lanai, eat at the table/chairs there, and enjoy the sun and hot tub all while watching whales spout and breach away. What a magical place to stay! We also enjoyed that this place offers a little more privacy and quiet as it is up the mountain tucked away from the resorts, but still close enough for a short drive to the beach or nearby restaurants. Hosts were also very responsive, kind and accommodating. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

Quiet but close to all amenities, hotels, beaches, stores and restaurants. Martha and Ben are the perfect hosts and ensure we have everything that we need. They have made several updates to the property that has only made it even better. Nightly sunset watches off the deck, sitting in the hot tub. Beautiful back yard and views from all rooms. My family will be happy to keep coming again and again! Already excited about our next stay!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
