With it's private entrance, this 2nd floor suite will impress you with it's high-end finishes and attention to detail. Stargaze from bed while looking up at the overhead skylight while you drift off to sleep! Enjoy your healthy home cooked meals in the gorgeous high-end kitchen with it's LG appliances; gas stove w/built-in airfryer, dishwasher, french door refrigerator, toaster, coffeemaker. High-speed wireless internet can be utilized while working from the small office nook. Relax after a long work day, catching up on your favorite shows on the Roku TV. The full size washer and dryer make for a more convenient extended stay. Some features of this suite that offer peace of mind, include: air conditioning, back-up generator, and security cameras on site. Stargazing and babbling brook included!

This studio suite was amazing. The property was great! The owners were incredibly nice. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed. The landscaping and seating areas with a fire pit were so inviting. Couldn’t recommend this stay more. Can’t wait to stay there for our next trip.

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay while we visited family in Saline Michigan. The owner did a beautiful job on converting overhead space of a garage into a nice one bedroom fully equipped apartment. The unit was very clean and had everything that we needed for our weekend stay. The only suggestion that I would give is to possibly put a light outside of the doorway as it gets very dark at night and without a flashlight, it would be difficult to use the keypad to unlock the door.

Quaint little escape

We stayed here after the UofM game. Location is convenient, the update to the interior finishes are really nice. Super easy checkin process.

Our stay went smoothly. The apartment was clean which is extremely important to me. I also appreciate the fact that toiletries were provided. Beautiful property.

Great stay!

Lou's above the garage apartment is frankly perfect. It is build with a lot of thought and has everything you might need. For those unable to climb stairs, beware, there are about 12 steps up. Otherwise, Comfortable beds, beautiful space. Kitchen and bathroom has all the amenities you might require. Peaceful location, short distance to Ann Arbor.

U Michigan football weekend

Beautiful dormered apartment above garage. Separate direct from outside entrance to unit. Easy access to Highway 23 for getting to and from Ann Arbor. Perfect for the two of us.

It's so nice to meet new people. As they travel to visit their family. It makes me feel like I've done some thing worthwhile. Give in my guests a warm safe place to stay when they visit their loved ones.

2 STARS…here’s why

2 STARS The rental property is about a 5 min off the highway and is very nice, with high-end appliances and finishes. The bed is comfortable and is quiet as the house is off the main road. Unfortunately this is where the good ends and our adventure begins. We checked in w/o incident, then left to go about our day. I will say in retrospect that when locking the door via keypad, it took a couple of tries for it to work. My wife and I returned about 11:30pm and low and behold, the entry keypad issues reared its head again, but this time to the point where we could not enter the property (we must’ve tried 15 times to key in the same code we’d used earlier in the day). I messaged (via Vrbo site) the owner who DID NOT respond. I then turned to VRBO customer support and was on/off the phone with them for almost 2 1/2 hrs trying to gain access to our personal items and the apartment…all of which failed as VRBO was also unable to get in contact with the owner. We had to stay at a hotel that night w/little to no help from VRBO, other than them telling me that it was going to be escalated to a group who specializes in resolving issues of this kind. We went back to the property in the morning and after 3 tries the keypad now worked…a MIRACLE and we got into the property. Shortly thereafter my wife saw another review discussing issues with the keypad and communication w/owner. Still haven’t heard from owner and now waiting for VRBO to resolve the $$.
