Welcome to Rainbow Lane! Situated steps away from the Cowlitz River, ten minutes from downtown Packwood, and twenty minutes to White Pass.

Our 1200 square foot space has an open concept to allow for maximum comfort even for larger groups! We can sleep up to 10 for adults willing to get cozy, or groups with kids.

This is a great spot for your family or group of besties to come home to after a long day of skiing at White Pass!

Ski season is fast approaching, we look forward to hosting you!

Great Summer Start

Stayed here with family on our annual “camping trip “. Relaxing, clean, close to national forest and all the hiking and fishing you could ever want. Had a lot of fun with the shuffle board- will definitely stay again.

Nice Family Getaway

We had a great time relaxing in the home. Made for a cozy oasis during a really rainy and gray holiday week. The hot tub was great, and a great space to share a family holiday dinner and fun.

Perfect birthday mini vacation

Our stay was perfect! It was so quiet and peaceful and was exactly what we needed. The bed was comfortable, kitchen well stocked, lots of games and videos. We loved being able to walk down to the river and relax in the hot tub. We rested and did nothing and that is exactly what we were looking to do. Thank you for hosting us at the cabin on rainbow!

Great spot / great host

Host is terrific. Cabin is clean and comfy. Beds are awesome. Location by the river is peaceful. People from outside the area should know that one of the routes to drive to the cabin from Seattle involves serious mountain driving, needing an experienced mountain driver, and that roads in the area are subject to closure due to weather and road conditions.

Perfect Location!

We had a great stay at this property. Super clean and comfortable! Everything you could need for a stay and more. The mattresses are comfortable and the bedding was soft. We enjoyed seeing elk by the river and all around town. The hot tub was nice and clean, we enjoyed being able to have a fire, walk down to the river and played plenty of shuffleboard while it was rainy. We would definitely book again!

Perfect ski getaway

Rented the cabin for a family trip to ski at White Pass. The home had all the amenities we could possibly think of. The home was very inviting and exceptionally clean. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing. My teenagers and my husband really enjoyed playing the foosball game, all the furniture and beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay there again and wound recommend to all who are interested in a cabin getaway with their family.

Perfect Family Holiday

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family of four. Our children took ski lessons at nearby White Pass, which is absolutely perfect for beginners and family friendly. We celebrated Christmas with the fire roaring and games a plenty on the foosball table and the shuffleboard table. Alyssa was excellent with communication throughout the process. We hope to make many returns to this perfect cabin and make more memories. Also, the fenced yard was ideal and allowed us to travel with our family dog.

Mothers day

The place was great. Had a great time. Party next door was a bit rude regarding getting down to the river. Apparently we somehow were on her "private property" . Also strange that a fire was started across the street and then left un attended. This was a bit scary.

So relaxing, yet so much to do.

We wanted somewhere close to Mount Rainier. This was the perfect location. The house was so comfortable, well stocked, full spice rack, plenty dishes, pots/pans and even coffee and a selection of teas. Alyssa is an attentive hostess,quick to respond to fix any problems and so warm. I wish we had more time to play the indoor games. We loved the hot tub and especially the new fire table. Thanks so much for sharing your cabin with us.

Nice relaxing stay!

Weekend getaway with friends turned into a girls trip since some couldn’t make it. Lots of DVD’s and games available. Close to the river. Loved the hot tub but even 3 adults made it overflow. Beds were super comfortable. The only this I wish is for simple instructions for things such as the fireplace, coffee pot/grinder, etc. I expected to have to do more at check out so it was nice to only be expected to do a couple things. Also, if you bring your dogs the back yard isn’t fully fenced and there are quite a few dogs that run around the neighborhood and back yard off lease and without owners. Overall our stay was great!

Good property over all. It’s a notch above a river camp house. Heat was not on and sliding door was open so house was cold and took a while to warm. Mostly clean but hot tub had some dirt in it and was wasn’t clean as it should be. Inside refrigerator was dirty. Yard, fire pit and back porch nice. Shower curtain in master bath dirty. Across street looked like junk yard. Those items didn’t ruin the stay but could have been better.

Great Quiet Retreat

We had such an amazing trip and stay at this wonderful place. Check in was super easy. The beds were extremely comfortable and that is saying a lot since we sleep on a Tempur-Pedic mattress at home. The home was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. Including a bunch of different spice options. However, I would have loved some dish towels, but usually I bring some from home. We had plenty of paper towels to use. I appreciated all the thoughtful additions, including even a portable speaker you could use. We had fun playing shuffle board with our group and since they were from Texas, the cool river only a short walk away was a blessing for soaking after a long hike. And the hot tub along with the cushy seats outside was a welcome retreat. We stayed here in preparation for a Vacation race half marathon, it was a great spot and not too far off from the start of the race. Honestly, an epic race and we have done four Vacation races. Alyssa was amazing and super responsive to questions and I really appreciate her attentiveness. We would definitely stay here again and are looking at a Crystal mountain winter getaway in the future. Thanks for the great home away from home, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Fantastic cabin

My family of four loved our stay. The host was responsive and very accommodating. The cabin was accurately represented with a fenced in yard, hot tub, fire pit, hammock (that my kids loved), WiFi, and a well stocked kitchen. We loved the location and hope to return soon.

Perfect!

Beautiful house, plenty of room for six girls, we were very comfortable. Hot tub was amazing. Easy drive to town, Packwood is very charming, and so many breath-taking view of the mountains. Unfortunately, the river was not visible from the house, or even from the hammock (I think the river was low at the time?…it WAS accessible to walk to, which was fun!) Renter was great to work with, very kind and prompt with responses. I would recommend to anymore!

Great cabin on the river!

This cozy cabin was great for our annual ski trip to White Pass! It was well-stocked and we enjoyed making meals in the large kitchen. We brought our dogs and it was so nice having a fenced back yard that opens up to the river. Would rent again!

Very Cozy

We enjoyed our stay. For 8 adults sleeping was a little tight but we made it work. We all thought it was a super cute cabin. Beautiful view of the river. Very quiet and relaxing. We would come back. 😊

Rainbow Lane Cozy Cabin

This was a last minute find for a Thanksgiving getaway. The cabin had all of the amenities you would need for a week/weekend away. The kitchen was fully stocked with spices, utensils, roasting sticks, bottle and can openers, pots and pans, cups, mugs, coffee maker/grinder and the list goes on. The dining area had the perfect space for 4 adults and 2 kids. The living room had a ton of DVDs, a smart tv, foosball and shuffleboard, games and legos and sitting space. The living room had a large dog crate so we didnt need to use ours. Ductless heating through out the house kept it all warm. Also, the wi-fi and cell service was great. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and extra umbrellas stocked. Hallway bathroom had tons of towels. Bedroom with bunk bed was a hit with our kids and enough room for us to sleep on the Murphy bed with them. Beds were so comfortable and lots of extra blankets and pillows. Laundry area was perfect as we did multiple loads. Master bedroom was so comfortable and the bathroom was nicely tiled and decorated. Included: hairdryer, bug spray, bandaids and sunscreen. Back deck had wood swing, hottub, another dog crate with leashes, propane bbq, an ax to cut any wood, rocking outdoor seating but we didn’t use because of the chilly weather and some rain. We used the fire pit and there was ample firewood. Dog run in backyard as well. Close access to play near the River and a quick polar plunge. As we were the first to stay, we had a total blast! We did have an issue with the hot tub on the first day but host quickly responded and came with a backup plan and we were able to enjoy it shortly after that. The cabin had everything we needed for a quiet and relaxing stay and was less than 10 min Into town. The nearby neighborhood was absolutely silent except maybe a couple cars. The lot next door did have a few construction trucks parked around but no inconvenience. We did bring a large flashlight for late night dog potty breaks and we kept an eye open because of a couple neighborhood dogs that would roam around . The cabin is about 20 min from Packwood Lake Trail and 5 min from Skate Creek Nature Area which we highly recommend. Cruiser’s pizza and Packwood Brewing only a few miles away and lots of elk around town. Cabin had ample parking for a car and a pickup truck and we felt very safe. We highly recommend Rainbow Ln and hope to come back in the summertime.
