Welcome to Mt Washington, Pittsburgh's most scenic neighborhood. The apartment is on the second floor of the building and is essential new construction. It was gutted to the studs and rebuild with all the modern amenities. Air conditioning, high ceilings and a semi open floor plan. The main business district on Shiloh street is about a 10/15 minute walk or a short car ride up the hill.
The Space:
There is free street parking in the rear as well as the front of the property.
Guest Access:
Guests have full use of the entire apartment, as well as the upper rear deck which is private. There is a shared laundry room in the basement. This space is shared between the upstairs unit and the downstairs tenant. There is a light switch as you walk into the basement, to your right on the ceiling.
The Neighborhood:
The Neighborhood: For groceries, bottle shop for beer, bakery, a few Restaurants, and the liquor store are all located on or near Shiloh. It is our main street on Mt. Washington and its located about 5 minutes from the house. The Grocery Store - Shop and Save - is at the intersection of Virginia and Shiloh. Shiloh is a great place to park and walk down Grandview as well to see the city at night.
Getting Around:
There is a bus stop 1 block away on Southern Ave. The emerald view trail system is also fantastic for hiking and walking.
