Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback after your stay. We’re truly sorry you experienced problems with the garbage disposal and toilet — we know how frustrating that can be. We take a lot of pride in keeping the house in excellent condition, which is why we’ve maintained a 9.8 average rating from all previous guests. After your departure we had both the disposal and the plumbing fully inspected and just a note for future reference an entire orange should not be put in the garbage disposal. We are not sure what clogged the toilet but once plunged and cleared the plumbing works fine. These were very unusual issues that haven’t occurred with any other guests in the history of the property. We’ve also updated our welcome guide with clearer instructions on appliance use to help prevent this in the future. Yes, the fire pit does have the regular red plastic adirondak chairs. The front room does not have a center light but has a canned light over the fireplace and tea lights over the counter. Most people enjoy this in a TV room. The other living room has a center light and lamps if you wanted to read. Your comments are genuinely appreciated and will help us make the stay even better for everyone who follows.
