Great location and great host!

This stay was perfect for us. It is a very clean, spacious and nice home in a quiet neighborhood-safe area. Itā€™s close to hospital, restaurants, and everything you would want. The host was incredibly accommodating and a true pleasure.

Great stay in Berwin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute Bungalow! Plenty of space and privacy as rooms are spread throughout the house. They had a play area for kids. They also provided a high chair, pack n play, toys, and books! Our kids were entertained the entire time! The backyard was also wonderful! Would highly recommend for families!

Great stay!

Very well decorated and maintained property. The size of the yard is a bonus. The bathrooms were very nice. The home worked wonderfully for our family as we attended a wedding in the area. The only drawback was the couch on the first floor is very deep and hard to sit on for shorter adults. More pillows to put behind you would solve this. The downstairs couch was very comfortable.We highly reccommend this property.

Berwyn Bungalow Blessing!

This house AND the host were truly a blessing. My husband was terribly ill and we had to be away from home for two months. This was close to hospital, shopping, restaurants. It is spacious and nicely decorated with many special touches for guests. Highly recommend this rental and the host was amazing!

The space was beautiful and perfect for our family of mom and dad (50ā€™s) with two adult children (30ā€™s) & their significant others and six-year-old grandkid Spacious yet we each had privacy and room to gather as a big family inside or outside. The home was clean with great amenities, including playground on site for the grandkid. And to my happy surprise, the yard was so beautiful and lush. I did not expect to be able to walk around a yard in Chicago barefoot but I could in this place. The owner communicated well and we did not have any issues or concerns throughout our stay. I absolutely recommend this place and will be looking for its availability for our next trip to Chicago..

Great Place

This is one of the cleanest VRBOs we have ever stayed in. Bedding and linens were clean and fresh. Beds were comfy. Bathrooms were modern and clean. Off street parking was a huge plus. Yard area was a nice place to sit and enjoy some sun. Could use some wine glasses, lighter plates and some games or decks of cards for adults. Would stay again if ever in the area.

Family visit to Chicago

First rate home interior with lots of amenities, modern finishes, fixtures, and appliances. Kitchen had lots of extra dishes, pots, pans, and supplies. Bathrooms had clean towels and lots of extra touches/supplies. This visit was during the Christmas holiday and there was even a decorated tree in the Family Room. On-property parking spaces also a nice bonus. Overall, a highly recommended property that we would gladly return to again in the future.

Great choice for groups!

The house was immaculate and held our group of 6 adults well with each couple having their own space with a bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and the yard was pretty with a nice table to sit at for meals. Having a large parking area was great, too! Nick was very responsive to our suggestion to get a window covering for the basement bedroom. Check in/out was a breeze. We will definitely return when we visit Chicago again!

We had a wonderful 5-night stay at this Berwyn home with our family of five adults and two children. The location was perfect ā€” just minutes from commuter train lines, Costco, and a full grocery store, and less than a 30-minute drive to downtown Chicago attractions like the Magnificent Mile, Riverwalk, Navy Pier, and the museums.The house itself was very well kept and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, and all the appliances were in excellent condition. The bathrooms were spotless and featured beautiful tilework. The downstairs den was a favorite spot in the evenings, with a modern Smart TV, streaming access, and strong WiFi throughout the house.Parking was easy, with enough space for four cars. Our kids especially loved the well-manicured yard and jungle gym, while the adults appreciated the quiet, well-landscaped neighborhood. The owners were also very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had, which made the stay even smoother.We would definitely recommend this property to families visiting Chicago ā€” itā€™s a great home base for exploring the city while enjoying a peaceful, family-friendly setting.

The owners did a spectacle job of rehabing this location. You can tell it was well planned out with solid follow through. The only improvements I would suggest is on the upper floor. There was door to what looked like a closet that might have used for a closet but was unavailable. Also, the air flow to the upper lever was not as beautifully managed as on the others (understanding that it can a real challenge for a layout like the Kenilworth location). But overall, well done!!!

Spacious comfy updated

This house has been updated and was perfect for what we needed. Dead end street. Private. Close to where we needed to be. Kitchen has most everything and all seems new. We didnā€™t have small children with us but would be great for kids. Large fenced in yard with nice play structure. Security system. Very impressive!

Perfect hideaway

The property was at the end of a street, on site parking was nice. The yard was beautiful and peaceful to sit outside each morning and evening. Quiet safe neighborhood. The house was well supplied with all essential needs. We cooked every day and had what we needed. The house was tri-level, perfect for our two families to have enough space. Would definitely recommend. Easy commute to the city or to the ā€œLā€. Green and blue lines were close. I believe red was also. Close to grocery stores as well.

Great space just outside Chicago!

A lovely home in a pretty, well-tended, clean, safe neighborhood with good shopping marts nearby should you need. The house is about 28 mins from Chicago by car, without traffic. Good bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice to have a washer and dryer, too. We really only cooked breakfast in the house and the rest of our meals we ate out. Kitchen was nice and stocked with a fair amount of cooking items and utencils. The playing and lounging area outside was also very nice. Nick, the host, was kind and super responsive if we had questions. We loved staying in this home. Will definitely come again!

This is the Perfect Place to Stay!

I am a Chicago native who comes to visit frequently from Connecticut. I often bring my Husband and our 2 Grandchildren as well because they LOVE Chicago. In the past we have stayed in a condo downtown but this time I wanted to take them to new places in the outskirts of the city as well as in downstate Illinois so I decided to find somewhere in the suburbs. The location is perfect as it is near the highways to get anywhere you want to go. We did go downtown one, the Indiana Sand Dunes another and Starved Rock State park yet another and all were easy to get to from Berwyn. Brookfield Zoo is almost around the corner! The house is beautiful. It is located at the end of a dead end (except for the alley) street so it is very quiet. There is a large beautiful yard with a playset my Grandchildren enjoyed along with the numerous rabbits that live nearby! The kitchen was well equipped. The were the bathrooms had plenty of towels and supplies of toiletries which was a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable...a feature that I don't often find! In fact I have not a single complaint. We enjoyed Nicks' house very much.
