Lodged nicely atop a beautiful plateau in the quiet beach town of Playa Panama, Las Brisas has been one of Guanacaste's top vacation villas for 20+ years. During your stay, you will find luxury at its finest while putting your comfort first.

The villa, located in the gated-community of Vistas del Pacifico, is a 4700 sq. ft. Spanish-style ranch casa with three bedrooms and an upstairs suite that will sleep 6-8 people. The house features lush gardens, a private infinity-edge pool, outdoor rancho with hammocks and a relaxing veranda perfect for viewing the majestic sunsets over the Culebra Bay.

The interior of Las Brisas is elegant with a fully equipped kitchen with bar style seating, an eight person Spanish dining table, and spacious living area with a 48-inch flat-screen television. Additionally, the villa has a full Wi-fi Internet connection so you can keep up with your friends and family back home and let them know how wonderful Costa Rica truly is.

The luxurious bedrooms feature only the finest mattresses and linens for your vacation sleep. The upstairs suite features a kitchenette for any quick needs and an outdoor balcony to savor the exotic sounds in the morning and the wondrous sights in the evening. Words can’t describe the view

This house is spacious, views amazing, wildlife right outside your window. Pool and outside area are dreamy. Yoco the housekeeper is very accommodating, she made us breakfast each morning.

Amazing stay at this beautiful villa!

The grounds, the view, the pool area.. stunning! Enjoyed morning coffee on the covered patio and fabulous evening sunsets. Yoco is so sweet & helpful! Villa well laid out for big family or several couples. Owner was easily reachable for some questions when we were here. Great central location for exploring other areas & beaches. We would definitely recommend & would love to come back !!

You will never want to get out of the pool!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. The outdoor area was spectacular and was where we spent almost all of our time. Yoko makes the best breakfasts and french toast that is to die for! I wish I would have watched how she made it. She also made us guacamole and pico de gallo every day. Preston was a very responsive host, always answering questions within minutes. We did not do any activities while there as we had spent three nights in the cloud forest and just wanted to relax and enjoy family. You will never want to get out of the pool - the view overlooking the Pacific ocean was breathtaking. For groceries we went to the Auto Mercado in Coco Beach for our initial large shopping trip and then just picked up what we needed at the small store in Playa Hermosa.

Wonderful

Close to the airport, beaches and restaurants but yet very private, quiet and relaxing. The view and the pool are the star attractions here. Near daily maid service was a wonderful surprise and the breakfast was a great treat to wake up to.

Gorgeous pool with ocean view

We loved our stay at Bagaces. The house is amazing, and in a safe area.. (all of Costa Rica seemed safe). There was just 4 of us that ended up going, so 2 of the rooms sat empty. (The upstairs room, and the room downstairs with the smaller bed.). Beds are comfy, pool is amazing, view is picture perfect. Yoco made us breakfast and even the best guacamole a couple of times. She comes every day (as does the pool guys) and even adjusted her schedule when she saw we were early risers. Preston was very good about letting us know the details and getting back to me quickly. Things we learned- get your fruit from the road side stands after you turn right in Liberia. (We had a car an went to a beautiful waterfall and did some intense white water rafting that direction). Men booked a fishing boat and caught a mahi-mahi and a tuna. Nearby zip lining was also fun. Wished we had time for a volcano, but we did not. Shop at the Auto Marcal—it’s the most Americanized. Eat at Gingers and get your own desserts-don’t split them here! Food is spicy but the desserts are to die for. The only things I might change is the lay out pool chairs were a tad uncomfortable and could have used a cushion. Definitely not a deal breaker, though, because the pool has many stools to sit on to read. And the upstairs bathroom was on the small side and the door is in the way of the toilet. We just didn’t use this room because we didn’t need it, but again, this is minor and it wouldn’t prevent me from coming back. Thanks for a great vacation spot!

Fabulous Villa

This was our first visit to Costa Rica. Not only was the country amazing, but the villa was also! The pool was fabulous, the accommodations were very spacious and allowed for multiple parties to enjoy simultaneously. The housekeeper, Yoco, was extremely pleasant, efficient, and cooked amazing breakfasts for us! It was incredibly difficult to leave! The owner gave us very accurate driving directions to the villa from the airport, LIR. The google map location on VRBO is not accurate - this villa is not located anywhere close to Bagaces (which is over an hour away). It is extremely close to Playa Panama so use that as your marker for location and not the marker on google maps on the posting. Overall 5 stars plus for this villa!

Absolutely amazing

We’ve stayed at a lot of VRBOs and this may be the prettiest place we’ve ever been. The view from the back patio and pool is perfect. Like the description says, you won’t want to leave. You’ll just want to sit in the pool and relax. The pool is a good size, the patio has tons of space and gets plenty of light for sunning and has plenty of covered space. There’s some grassy yard space and a hammock on the side of the house. The inside of the home is beautiful. The kitchen is huge and has everything. The living and dining rooms are comfortable and have lots of space for a big group. Each bedroom has its own bath. The AC works well (and is needed). Yoco takes care of the house and is a pleasure. We enjoyed meeting her. The house is on a street with other homes but is very private. And it’s not far to drive down the hill to get to restaurants. However it is good to stock up on groceries once so you won’t have to go back and forth. The drive is a little steep but not as bad as I expected. And not a scary road even at night. We wished we could have stayed here forever. Everything about it is just perfect.

Most beautiful property and view I've ever experienced

It doesn't get much better than this. The view, property, and service were all top notch. Myself and 4 friends stayed up here for a week, and it was absolute paradise. The sunsets are unbelievable. The house maid took excellent care of us. Couldn't of chosen a better place to stay. I don't know what else to say - except out of everywhere I've been, this was simply the best, and most beautiful.

Had to cancel our March 2016 reservation, which is very sad as this places' reviews were so great and our family of 10 were looking very forward to staying here.... I contacted Preston by email on the Saturday to let him know of our plans and he was very quick with his return communication. He was very professional and returned our deposit in less than 2 days! Family Christmas vacation

My husband and I along with our family of children in their 20s and 30s, sister, and mother-in-law spent a lovely 17 days at Villa Las Brisas during the Christmas/New Year's holidays. The house is exactly as depicted in the photos--well kept, lovely decor and beautiful views! Yoco, the housekeeper is a gem and Xavier the pool/gardener keeps the outside areas pristine. We rented a car and were able to go to a couple of volcanoes, along with river rafting and ziplining too. We also checked out other beaches in the area and ended up visiting Playa Hermosa several times because the snorkeling was great right off the beach around the rocks ---and it's a 10 minute drive. Our family loves to cook so this was a perfect place for us! We grilled lobster, shrimp and calamari in the outdoor rancho and made all kinds of tropical drinks. Everyone had a wonderful time! I highly recommend this villa and would love to return someday.

Perfect Birthday Celebration!

My husband and I just returned home from two glorious weeks in a beautiful location overlooking a perfect ocean view. I chose Villa Las Brisas after looking at hundreds of houses on line. This was my 50th birthday celebration, and I was hoping for perfection. I was not disappointed! The villa is beautiful. It is decorated very tastefully, with all modern comforts! Every bedroom/bath was comfortable and elegant. We had WiFi and news on TV. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking appliances. The housekeeper, Yoco, was absolutely incredible. She kept the house very clean, made our beds while we weren't looking, and cooked our breakfast. Whatever we stocked for breakfast, she cooked it! When we bought fresh fruit, she had it sliced and waiting for us! She always had coffee ready! I found her invaluable! She does not speak English well, but we had fun communicating with her. It was not a problem. We found the grocery store in playa Coco to be well stocked. As well as a smaller grocery store closer in Playa Hermosa. We grilled fresh fish several nights on the outdoor grill. This was incredible. The nights we chose to go out, we found Playa Hermosa to be our favorite. It was 10 minutes away with nice little outdoor restaurants and great food. Playa Coco is 20 minutes away with great souvenir shopping and authentic Costa Rican restaurants. We spent less time on the beach than I expected. We found the pool at the villa so inviting. We had visits from iguanas, parrots, and even a raccoon one evening. I found this fascinating! Our 25-30 year old kids thought the place was great! We found adventures as well as relaxing at the villa. We went zip lining and ATVing! After they left, we had 3 couples join us. They all seemed very comfortable and thrilled. There was something for everyone. I definitely recommend having a rental car. Roads are very passable. Without a car, one might find it isolated. With a car, everything was within reach. So the moral of my review: Villa Las Brisas can be any type vacation you want. Stay there, relax, enjoy the quiet and view! Explore a little, and enjoy everything Costa Rica has to offer. Either way, I don't think you'll regret it. We sure didn't! We are already trying to plan another trip there. Thank you Preston for helping make our experience perfect.

My wife and I stayed at Villa las Brisas for our honeymoon and we could not have asked for a better location, view and experience. Preston was great to work with and very easy to communicate with while booking and during our stay there. Yoco was wonderful and was kind and very helpful. We hope to make it back again for an anniversary trip one day. I highly recommend this house for your next vacation.

Unforgettable stay at Las Brisas, Playa Panama

I just stayed at this villa with my wife and friends and it was the most incredible vacation I have yet to have. From the time we arrived to the time we left, it was an experience to never forget. I highly recommend this place for a group of couples who would like to enjoy privacy and fun. If you need groceries, stores are located within minutes. If you need security, this place has it. If you need adventure, it could be arranged. If you need to be left alone, you only have to deal with the afternoon/morning birds. This is a high quality place that is worth the price; hands down. I am from Costa Rica and I am now spoiled. I do not think I will go back to my country and at least try to stay in this place again. Thank you so much for all the attention we received.

I've been able to call Villa Las Brisas a second home since I was 12 (Will be 34 in 2022). My grandfather Phil Bonner built the villa in the late '90s and it has remained within the family throughout its duration. Costa Rica is such a wonderful place and even after all these years of traveling there, I am still in awe at the awesome sunsets every night.

Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, I still call the Empire State of the South home. Along with managing Villa Las Brisas, I manage properties in Alpharetta, GA as well as co-own a concert production company. Since 2014, we've produced 250+ concerts all over the USA.

I've traveled throughout the world, visiting 16 countries on three continents. Maybe I'm biased, but there isn't many places in the world quite as lovely as Costa Rica. I hope you enjoy Costa Rica as much as I do!

Near the end of the '90s, I found this gorgeous isolated ocean-view property and immediately knew this is where I wanted to build my paradise home. Now, the towns and beaches are booming with prosperity as Costa Rica has become one of the world's leading tourist destinations. We are only a few minutes from the wonderful swimming beaches of Playa Panama and Playa Hermosa. Other fantastic beaches such as Playa Tamarindo, Playa Flamingo, and Playa Grande are only an hour away. The view of the Pacific Ocean from the balconies of our villa are awesome night in, night out. O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

I've always enjoyed waking up early in the morning and listening to the unique sounds of the howler monkeys in the trees and nearby jungle. The pool is extra cool in the mornings. There is nothing better, however, than sitting in the rocking chairs near dusk and watching the truly awesome sunsets light up the horizon of the Pacific Ocean in front of our eyes.
