The Shredder`s Shanty - Close to Ski Resorts!
Located in the heart of Cottonwood Heights and only minutes to the canyons, you`ll love the cozy feel of the Shredder`s Shanty. Setup and furnished with the traveler in mind, our home includes fast WiFi, smart TV, a full kitchen, washer/dryer and a private patio and chairs. Only 25-30 minutes to world class skiing at Snowbird, Alta, Brighton and Solitude, 35 minutes to Park City, 20 to downtown Salt Lake City, 25 to the airport, and close to multiple grocery stores, bars and restaurants.
Conveniently located 5 minutes from both Big Cottonwood Canyon and Little Cottonwood Canyon, Shredder`s Shanty can get you to the world class resorts and within minutes. (Our record time is 25 min from door to chair lift). This 1,000 sq ft basement unit has two bedrooms, one bathroom, full kitchen, and full sized washer and dryer in unit.
The unit is exactly 1.8 miles (less than 5 minutes) from the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon, home to Brighton and Solitude, as well as the freeway entrance leading to Canyons, Park City, Deer Valley, Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, and Sundance Mountain Resort. Downtown is just 20 minutes away. There is a bus stop that can take you to the forementioned resorts in walking distance from the house as well.
The Shredder`s Shanty is also located near the Recreation Center, which provides ammenities such as gym, tennis court, and indoor/outdoor pool for $5/day.
Additionally, the sofa is a pull out sofa, so for the true ski bums at heart, the space can accommodate six guests.
Parking is on the West side (looker`s right) of the driveway. Off street parking is also available. Please do not park on patio.
Guests may be staying upstairs.
No smoking.
No fires in fireplace.
Close hot tub cover when done.
No parties.
Respect the neighbors.
Our guests are protected by the Waivo® damage protection program for accidental damages that occur up to $1,500 and this is included in the price of your reservation.
Waivo® Damage Waiver
If You have purchased a Waivo® Damage Waiver (“Waiver”) then the following terms and conditions are now part of Your vacation rental agreement.
AGREEMENT
On behalf of Alpenglow Property Rentals, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below up to $1,500, $2,000 and/or $3,000, the Waiver limit purchased by or for You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.
Waivo is hereby responsible for direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will reimburse the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $1,500, $2,000 and/or $3,000. This Waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.
This is not an agreement to provide insurance.
EXCLUSIONS
This Waiver will not reimburse for theft, or damages resulting from:
Acts of God
Prior damage, cosmetic damage, marring or normal wear and tear
Loss of use of the vacation rental property
Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal
Damage to a motorized vehicle
Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items
Consequential loss
This Waiver will not reimburse for damage or theft of property owned by You.
This Waiver will not reimburse for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, clogged plumbing, excess trash, laundering linens, spa/pool maintenance, landscaping, maintenance or mechanical breakdown.
III. CONDITIONS
Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the Waiver.
Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.
This Waiver will reimburse for assembly of replacement furniture up to a maximum amount of $50.00 US Dollars.
This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.
This Waiver is only effective if damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.
Waivo will not respond to damage under $50 US Dollars.
If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.
