This large home can easily fit a big family under one roof for a vacation getaway, and with an expansive deck that boasts incredible views, there’s not much more you can ask for.

Gather in the living room to warm up by the fireplace and enjoy a movie with loved ones. The well-appointed kitchen has all you could need to whip up meals. The large dining table is perfect for family-style meals, puzzles, or board games. Be sure to spend time in the spacious family room that has a large TV, a VCR, and DVD player.

The upper level is home to most of the bedrooms. The lower level features a well-equipped kitchenette and more sleeping arrangements.

Whether you spend your time on the lower, main or upper level of the house, be sure to save some hours for lounging on the deck. You’ll discover grills, wonderful furnishings for alfresco dining, and lovely sights.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Weekend getaway

Overall it was decent, plenty of space. The setting was a little outdated but, it reminded us of being a grandma’s.

Location-but not worth ever renting this location again since Vacasa can’t provide anyone local to fix broken appliances/AC outages 2 years in a row.

Great family home for a large group

This was our fourth or possibly fifth time renting Stone decks. There is plenty of room for a large family, including a completely separated, living area with kitchenette in the lower level Beautiful views very quiet Holliday island is absolutely the best place for boating and vacationing, I highly recommend it.

House we large enough for 8 people. two living spaces but only used one. Very nice for a stay at the lake and would be perfect for a group of golfers.

Spacious home, quiet surroundings

We had a total of 10 of us on this trip. Everyone had plenty of room. The kids enjoyed the outdoors, especially the deer (bring apples).

Holiday Island with big group

We were there with extended family, it was nice that there was an upstairs suite with own bath and a couple of other bedrooms with a hall bath. The basement also had a large bedroom with a jack & jill bathroom. There were also bunk beds in an open area in the basement. Kitchen had what we needed.

Always relaxing!

I've been going to Stone Decks since it was built and have always loved it! I think that it's one of the most relaxing places you can spend time! Brent and Magada are truly the hosts with the most and have many wonderful memories staying there with them and their family! I introduced my brothers to Stone Decks several years ago when we were all able to go and now they live it, too! Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to spend quality time together, whether it's on the lake or just spending a cozy weekend playing games, eating great food, and spending time with friends and family!

Was seamless. Booked house with zero trouble. Located on golf course with one of the holes near back yard. Very large balcony to see course. We were in town on motorcycle trip. 7 riders. Tons of room. Would definitely stay again. One of the neighbors told us to come back next year.

4 night trip

This house is great for size and space if you have a big group. We've stayed in this house before several times over last 11 years for a golf outing at Holiday Island Country club. The house is dated and is in need of some updates and upgrades. The sliding doors on the decks have serious issues with the locks and one didn't even lock during our stay because it was broken. At least put a board or rod in the door frame to keep it secure at night. put some nice walk-in showers in this place and have one updated tub downstairs.

Lovely Home

The house looks like a family lived there and just disappeared, in other words the house looks like a home, very nice furnishings and decorations. The house is much larger than we needed, but it was one of the only that was pet friendly and we do not travel without our two tiny Shipoos. We only used one of the 4 bedrooms and only one of the 4 bathrooms. The view from the deck is of the golf corse, there is a gas grille and a charcoal grille which we did not use. While we were there we bought a house one street over to use as our vacation home, unfortunately no golf course view

Our experience

Unfortunately, at appeared that the house had not been cleaned after the pest control service was there. There were several dead roaches in the entry way and other dead bugs other rooms. Something out of your control that impacted the stay was a very strong storm early Sunday morning that knocked out the power. Our family had planned on playing golf Sunday morning, but was not able to do that. The power didn’t come on at that house (although the house across the street had power) until they were packing up to leave at about 9:30 Monday morning!

Stone Decks Lodge Stay

We've stayed here several times over the years and it's great for a group and you want to have separate beds. It has a main level living room and downstairs family room. Lots of dining space. Kitchen is kind of small for a big house and needs a refrigerator upgrade. It has to sliding doors leading out to a large deck with excellent views on the main level. These doors need some work. Some of these things need an upgrade as they are original on the house. The locks are flaky and doors are hard to slide. As with any of these vacation rental sites the booking fees are excessive these days. A couple of clicks on a computer and no personal interaction shouldn't cost what the fee being charged is. It's over pricing the rental! The 4pm check in is becoming normal everywhere now. The 10am checkout needs to be extended to 11am.

Disappointed

This house needs help. The sliding doors are shot. They are a struggle to lock and they don’t close and seal properly. The cleanliness of the property was dIrty. The floors were dirty and appear to have not been swept. There was a dirty towels in the jacuzzi tub. We found pills on the carpet. The carpet itself needs cleaned. It has nasty matted black spots like a dog peed there. The house needs to be updated. We were not told the shower in the basement was not usable. The location of the house was great. Close to wherever we wanted to be. We would stay at Holiday Island again. We just would not stay at this property unless some major improvements have been made. The property manager offered to come out and clean but we declined. Jacuzzi tub.
