The average Disney resort hotel room is approximately a 350 square foot room -- not much room, especially for a family or 2! Our Vacation home is approximately 2500 square feet, with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, can sleep 11 comfortably, with a kitchen, lanai, private pool and spa plus a game room – at a fraction of the cost of a Disney hotel that only gives you a microwave and a tiny fridge. You can be from Windsor Hills to a Disney park faster than if you were staying at a Disney hotel relying on their transportation.

Overall, we had a great stay at the villa, even with a couple of issues, which were resolved very quickly by the owners.Whilst the villa is in a good state of repair there were a couple of things that could be improved upon - the owners have stated that they will be addressing these in their bi-annual visits to the property.Great communication both before and during the stay. The location is great, so close to Disney and Walmart! We felt safe and secure, especially being on a gated community.Thanks for letting us rent your home, we had a great stay.

Best family vacation

We absolutely loved out stay the resort is amazing and perfect for what we needed. It was 2 families of 4 and kids aged 5 to 12 and they had the best time between the kids crafts daily the waterpark arcade and theater there was always somethi g for them to do. The grill onsite has the best workers Ms.Kasey & Mr.George who always made sure we were good. The house was perfect for our group and had all the amenities we could need with enough room for us all to have our own space the pool area was the most used and where we hung out. We will def stay again!

The way a vacation should be

We started using VRBO properties in early 2000 just due to the fact you that all you really need is a carry on bag. No checked bags makes getting in and out of the airport a lot smoother. The ability to do laundry, to cook dinner every evening rather than spending a fortune eating out and then toss in your own pool and hot tub, and I haven't used a hotel since. The rate per night is l usually cheaper too! No brainer.This was one of the best we've stayed at. It was our second time staying in Windsor Hills, we stayed here back in 2008, on Manesty. We liked it enough to revisit the area and finding after out about the new waterpark we tried to find the perfect house. With a 6 year old princess grand daughter, the frozen room was what sold the house initially. She absolutely loved it!! The pool, the room, the waterpark was all a surprise for her. She did not want to leave. Nor did we. We had some issues in the beginning but the response when they were brought up with the homeowner, could not have been faster and more pleasant. I am from the area and have family there still, when we return this house will be at the top of my list. The bonus was how well it was equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with and plenty of towels and linens, just like home. I considered looking up the squatters rights in Florida. We truly had a great time and thank you for the use of your wonderful home.

Great family accommodation

Check in was easy. Communication in advance and during stay was prompt and helpful. We’ve rented in Kissimmee for the past 10’years and found this home the best as far as great beds and being well equipped for a family stay. All 10 of us loved staying there.

Beautiful house in the perfect location

This was our first trip to Disney as a family and the house was great. Very spacious and all seven of had the space we needed. The location couldn't be better and we were able to visit multiple resorts in the week we were there with minimum time spent in the car. There was a minor issue with the spa, but the property owners were very responsive and had it addressed immediately. Would definitely go back.

Great place in the heart of Disney attractions

We stayed at this property from March 8th through 22nd. Debby was very communicative throughout the process prior to check in and also during our stay. The location is PERFECT for all things Orlando and the house is well equipped to handle a large crowd. The kids loved the resort area but also spent a lot of time in the house pool, which was heated. This is a perk you don't get without extra fees at a lot of places. The floors could have been cleaner and the kitchen cabinets could use a wipe down but overall this is a great place to stay.

AMAZING vacation!

We had a wonderful vacation in this home! It is located in a fantastic resort with a ton of amenities! The owner is absolutely fantastic and quick with communication. The house is loaded with everything you could possibly need or want. They are constantly updating things and I would highly recommend staying here!

Orlando Golf Trip

This was a planned golf trip for me and three of my friends. We prefer to stay in a home vs. a smaller venue. This house was perfect and met all of our needs. The home was super clean and centrally located. Driving times to the Disney attractions and the surrounding golf courses was 15- 20 minutes.In addition, the home came with a heated pool and and hot tub. Both were welcome after a long day of golf.

Great place for kids

We stayed at this property with our daughter, son-in-law, and three grandkids ages 4-8. The kids really enjoyed the pool, spa, themed bedrooms, and game room. The community pool and parks were also places they spent a lot of time. Check-in was easy and Debby was also very quick to respond to any inquiries we had. The location is ideal being close to Disney and also plenty of restaurants and other attractions.

Great stay!

Awesome location with very private backyard/pool area. House had a great layout for two families with children. The host Debby was so accommodating and provided a bottle warmer/sterilizer as she knew our families had young children. Would definitely stay again next year!

Great location, amazing house

The house was very clean, well layed out and hot tub was amazing on those chilly nights. The only complaint I have is we didn't realize the smart TV needed to be logged in with our own subscriptions. I may have just missed this fact. We have them all but i didnt bring the passwords with me.

Great location and very responsive host

We stayed here in late September into the first week of October. We actually checked in the day after Hurricane Helene made landfall in Florida. The house was in good condition but the pool was unusable on arrival as there was a lot of debris on the bottom of the pool. Having said that, Debby was very responsive when I called her to inform her of this and the weeds in between the pool area interlock. She sent her pool team fover first thing the next day and cleaned the pool for us to use. I'm a big believer in giving credit where credit is due when problems arise and Debby certainly did not disappoint. Thank you for being a great and responsive host and we will certainly consider coming back for our next trip to Disney.

A few teething issues but a lovely stay

Family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children aged 16 and 18). Communication with Debby in advance was great. Check in process smooth. We checked in on a Thursday so gate queue was small too, but it could be busy on Friday's as Saturday's as these must be more common check-in days. Immediately upon arrival at the property, we had a couple of issues. The upstairs air con wasn't working and the pool had a layer of algae and clearly wasn't usable. The air con was fixed within a couple of hours or so. The pool wasn't usable until part way through our third day - Debby was let down by her pool guy. Once the pool was fixed our holiday was enjoyable. Windsor Hills is perfectly placed for Disney and Universal Parks. Disney Parks are between 10 and 20 mins away and Universal around 30 mins. Walmart is conveniently placed at the end of Old Lake Wilson Road, about 1/2 a mile away or so. The property itself is very private. It backs onto a lake with opaque netting both sides so neighbouring properties can't see into the pool area. Neighbouring properties were empty during our stay so it was very quiet. The property is in keeping with other rentals we've stayed at, but the kitchen utensils and equipment were noticeably above average. The games room was good too. 2 xboxes, pool table, foosball table and connect 4. We only used the pool table, but the other equipment would keep families busy. Beds were firm comfortable for us. TV in the pool area was an added bonus too!

I and my husband Randy live in Michigan have been visiting Florida since 1996. We have used time-share and condominiums for years then realized the best way to enjoy a Florida vacation is through renting homes using VRBO. So we decided to purchase a Villa in Windsor Hills for our post retirement snowbird life because of the Lakeside view and the cool breeze it has even during the most sweltering days in Kissimmee. In addition, the security Windsor hills offers is top notch (sometimes too strict). We enjoy all the parks (Disney and Universal) and other attractions. We also enjoy just chilling at the pool, which we have made very private by utilizing what they call Florida Glass around the pool enclosure. You will be talking directly with us, we do not use a management company and we are looking for feedback to make improvements to make all whom rent our place better. We have made multiple improvements since owning as we have listed all of them in the description. We are always using recommended discounts through the VRBO platform.
