Tyler Bluff is a 72-acre luxury retreat in the North Texas Hill Country overlooking the Red River Valley. The retreat is ideal for families, friend groups, or corporate retreats looking for an authentic Texas experience to escape the city and return to nature.

PLEASE NOTE: Our partial booking includes the following properties for up to 16 overnight guests:

Sunset Ridge House - 4 bedroom house, sleeps 8
Sunset Ridge Lodge - 2 bedroom, sleeps 6 (private bedroom with 2 full-sized beds, queen Murphy bed in workout room)
Pool House - Twin day bed with trundle, sleeps 2

THINGS TO DO:
Key features of the property include a 40' infinity edge pool and pool house, whirlpool spa, half basketball court, covered pickleball court, bocci court, tetherball, sand volleyball court, workout room and a "game room" garage with darts, ping pong, foosball, and air hockey. The sports courts are fully lighted for evening play.

The Muenster/Saint Jo area is a growing destination for weekenders looking to enjoy the local wineries, boutiques, museums, and live music. And it’s just a short 90-minute drive from DFW.

Awesome Place to Stay

We did our family Christmas at this resort and found it to be fantastic. We loved the remoteness, the layout, the many activities that we could do, cleanliness, view and the wonderful homes. We will plan to stay again and recommend it for any group. This is definitely a hidden gem in Texas.

Memories for a lifetime at this place!

There were 21 of us total – 13 adults and eight children and we had a fabulous time and, if anything, the only thing I have to say, is this greatly exceeded our expectations of a really fun family getaway. Thank you so much for sharing this special place in North Texas, it was a happy Thanksgiving that we will always remember.

Amazing experience!

The property was wonderful we had 36 people who stayed and we rented out the connecting cabin to accommodate everyone our experience was great from communication with the owners to checking in and out and all the fun activities in between. We hope to come back and visit at some point we enjoyed our stay so much and had so much fun using the amenities.

Beautiful property with unforgettable views

You can not go wrong choosing this property for your family and/or friends getaway! The cabins are charming and the “the Lodge” was a great place for our group of 22 to hang out when they weren’t playing pickle ball, basketball or chilling out by the pool. We watched the gorgeous sunset from the upstairs deck, it was stunning. We can’t wait to go back!

Teen boys paradise

We were in the area for a high school baseball tournament and were looking for a place to house the team and coaches! This place was PERFECT!!! The boys had so much fun and it was excellent for team bonding! Exactly what we were looking for and they already asked to be able to stay there again next year! Teenage boys stayed off their phones and used all the facilities! Highly recommend to anyone for a fun get away far from the city life. We even had friends asking where it was and for the link when we posted pictures on social media!!

Amazing property

Completely unique land for all of north Texas. It feels like you're in the middle of the hill country. Property has incredible views, first class amenities, spectacular pool, plenty of ways to be active (hiking, sand volleyball, basketball, and covered pickleball court). Rustic feel with modern niceties. A great place for a group reunion or quiet getaway. Spacious meeting facility well accomodated our group of 36.

Just do it

Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a really great place to stay. The dirt road to the place is narrow and steep in places. Your car will need a car wash (or 2) from all the dust. The house is worth it though!

Stunning

From check in to check out we stayed active around the property. Wifi was strong as we worked some. Not issues at all. The pool is perfect and has an amazing view! Our team enjoyed basketball, foosball, volleyball, pickleball, and simply sitting admiring the view. We hope to return as a group soon!!!

Stunning

Wow! What a beautiful place! We had a small ladies retreat here. Though we came from the nearby Dallas Metroplex, the countryside made it seem like we had traveled much further-the setting more like Texas Hill Country than the North Texas area. It's a wonderful place to disconnect and be in nature with all the amenities of a resort. The lodge was a perfect place to gather together and spend our evenings while the various houses and cabins offered women the ability to get away and have their own personal space. This place definitely exceeded expectations and we will be back for our next ladies retreat!

Wonderful Getaway at Tyler Bluff Retreat

My group of 32 adults had plenty of space to sprawl over the property and never run out of activities. The property had an incredible pool with unbelievable views (and where we spent a majority of our time). The covered and lighted pickeball court was awesome for summertime games out of the heat. We didn't even make it to the basketball or sand volleyball courts, but they looked in perfect shape. We had no issues preparing food for the large number of guests with all of the amenities of the kitchen/patio. The property was very well thought out and had everything we needed. I would stay here with a large group again in an instant.

Study group business retreat

The houses had beautiful views, were decorated nicely and had comfortable beds. There were some problems with the locking mechanisms on the poolhouse. and a screen that blocked the view in the Sunset Ridge house.The kitchen was well stocked. We would recommend a book to explain the way things worked.on the property. WI Fi was good since we held business meetings. We had a great time going to the wineries and the wonderful breakfast place in Saint Jo.called The Rusty Nail. The owners were out of the country so we had some communication problems when we had trouble with the poolhouse. Other than that it was a very nice stay and would recommend.

Matt and Rachel Cosby purchased Tyler Bluff in 2020 as a gathering place for their large (and growing) family to create unique memories together.

Matt grew up in Arlington, Texas and worked for over 20 years in the event rental business. Rachel grew up in Grapevine, Texas and worked for large technology companies as a marketing executive. The Cosby’s have two children, a daughter at the University of Oklahoma and a son who plays football in high school.

Since purchasing Tyler Bluff, the Cosby's have added several new buildings and amenities, including the Lodge, 40’ infinity pool and pool house, gaming garage, and basketball, volleyball and pickleball courts. They believe they have a truly special and unique place and are excited to share it with others.
