Kick back and enjoy the bi-level views of water with fishing and tranquility. This space is perfect for 4-6 people looking for a unique getaway in eastTexas. The scenery is spectacular and the beds are sleep-scapes. The two oversized showers will leave you refreshed and ready for any challenge of life! Come and see the beauty of nature.

Each Villa has two amazing walk in showers, two beautiful bedrooms and two amazing balconies. There are 3 TVā€™s, wifi and a full kitchen. You will also have an amazing waterfront view with the option of fishing. Comfy outdoor seating is provided as well.

You have freedom to use the entire property. After experiencing the Villa, you wonā€™t want to leave.

There is a keypad for entry during your stay.

Itā€™s likely we wonā€™t be on property but we should have someone near by to assist you should the need arise.

The area is great for walking. Thereā€™s a beautiful country road with no outlet that is safe for morning and evening walks. Enjoy the tranquility!

There will also be a fire pit/grill outside and some cool Adirondack chairs to kick back in. Donā€™t forget your fishing poles!

As you come down FM 753, you will see some yard signs that say, ā€œSelah.Placeā€. There will be an entrance that turns to a white rock road. Take right and then a right.

Hey there. Your arrival is coming up soon. We want to be sure you are aware of all of our house rules. All Villas and Casitas come as is and our all less than 12 months old. There will be no changes, updates or additions unless required by management/host.

We will not accept any dishonoring or disrespectful behavior. If there is, you will be asked to leave immediately. And there will be no refund.

No updates, changes, holes in the walls, or furniture moved is allowed by any guest. All towels, robes, Villa items inside and out must stay with the Villa.


NO NOISE Policy between 9pm and 8am. If other guests in near by Villas and Casitas complain, there will be 1 request for silence and the next infraction will result in an immediate removal from the property.

Please NO SHOES worn in the Villa. There will be a shoe tray available for you inside. We recommend you have a set of house shoes for your convenience. Also, please keep the entrance doors closed during extreme temperatures for a more comfortable stay.

NO SMOKING around the front doors or inside the house. If there is a smell of smoke in the house, there will be an additional $150 charge. Please do not leave any loose trash outside of the home. Kindly place all trash from inside and out in the GREEN DUMPSTER as you leave the property. If trash has to be collected inside or outside of the home after your checkout time, there will be a $50 charge. .

Also, please wash any dishes you use and place them on a dry mat on the kitchen counter. There will be an additional $25 cleaning fee for dirty dishes left behind.

NO PETS are allowed in this Villa. This is due for the sake of other who have pet allergies and can`t stay in a Villa where pets have been. If there is a pet found to have been in this Villa there will be a $750 additional charge for deep cleaning. This is a new construction home and comes as is with all of the amenities noted.

There will be no adjustments made beyond the preparations that are made for each of our guests. If there are any needs for us to enter the space while you are here, we will request the day of a good time to enter. We continue to update our homes to keep the experience excellent for all current and returning guests.

Departure Instructions:
Please place all used sheets in the in the washer and start the cycle. There is a detergent ball inside already.

Please leave all used towels on the floor in a pile.

Please leave pillows and comforters on beds.

Place all 3 a/c units on 75 cool. current and returning guests.

If these instructions are not followed, there will be an additional $75 fee added. Thank you for helping us keep your `Cleaning Fees` at a low cost.

Amazing quiet place

We had an amazing time with our kiddos and puppy. Our kids got to fish and run around the property and just be care free. It was quiet and so much fun. If you want to just get away from the city life this place is awesome and the host is so attentive.

Perfect Get Away Location

My friend and I wanted to come explore Athens and the surrounding country, and we are so glad we did! This rental was close to everything that we wanted to see (@ a 10-minute drive to town). We enjoyed the local wineries, restaurants, and shopping. The house was clean and comfortable, and the beds were cozy.

Evrything was perfect at Selah.Place. kitchen is well stocked for cooking, beds are comfortable, the house was clean and cute! We loved the peaceful feeling of the water and trees. We managed to be in the right cabin to have the local cat come visit us daily which we loved. Our kids had fun coing some catch and release fishing and watching the turtles. Would definitely recommend staying here!. The location is right off a paved road and close enough to town.

Weekend at the Villa

The property is beautiful I love the house so nice and Comfortable. The view of the lake is so amazing. My granddaughter even caught a small Peach, that just made it the best time. If we are back in this Area ,I will rent this place again.

Mini Vacay!

This is a great spot for a quick, quiet reprieve from the hustle and bustle of city life. These units are spacious, stocked with basic necessities, and just 5 minutes from town; if you needed anything. The hosts communicate throughly prior to checkin and after check out. Being within a couple of hours from home, we would absolutely stay again!

Everything was great except for an issue with the locks. The upstairs balcony door did not lock. It was not catching in the little slot. And the pocket door to the bathroom kept catching when you didnā€™t intend to lock it. Otherwise everything was Great! Thank you!! We will tell others and we will likely stay again!!

Tranquil Getaway

My niece was getting married at Margot Hill about 6 mins away so we stayed here overnight (we live in Dallas). Host was super responsive to all communication. House was super cute and had everything you could ask for. Including a Keurig machine (which they should add to their description!). The beds were super comfy to the point my spouse was looking at the brand so he could buy for our ranch house. Exceeded our expectations. Plenty of room for 4+ people. Loved the view of the pond. Would highly recommend.

Almost perfect

Me and my husband stayed here for our anniversary, I instantly loved the place. It offered pretty much everything we needed for our stay, the only complain I have would be that for a place that has strict cleaning rules, some kitchen utensils were dirty. There was spoons and forks that still looked unwashed, the blender had some strawberry residue left inside like it was also not washed, I had to double wash mostly everything I was using but besides that problem everything else was great you really get a sense of feeling youā€™re away from everything with the beautiful outside scene.

Wonderful & Serene Stay

We loved our stay at Saleh's place! The villa was even nicer than expected, everything was clean, new, thoughtfully decorated and equipped with everything we could have needed! The grounds are very nice, there was a swing by lake to enjoy the view, there are several villas and casitas in proximity which made us feel safe and it's very well lit throughout the evening! The rooms are spacious, the beds are super comfortable and there is plenty of storage as well. The ground floor has the living room, the kitchen, a full bathroom and one of the bedrooms. Going up the stairs from the ground floor you reach the top level, to the left there is a bathroom which there is no door to, straight ahead there is a very spacious closet and to the right is the bedroom and a balcony off of the bedroom. We didn't realize there was no door to the bathroom or the bedroom, but it wasn't an issue for our group. The balconies are spacious and so lovely to spend time in. The A/C units were super helpful, the laundry machines as well and we used the electric kettle, keurig and toaster for breakfast each day. The house is 15 min from pretty much everything in Athens. We ventured into town, went to a wedding at a winery and spent time at Lake Athens. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely look to come back here if we're ever in the area.
