We welcome you to our home 'down the shore. Vamos a la Playa! is our bay side gem offering you a private & convenient waterfront retreat just minutes away from the beaches, restaurants and fun on Long Beach Island. This rental is the downstairs unit with two bedrooms & two bathrooms, our home is the perfect escape for a family looking for a getaway!

With the convenience of docking your boat in your own backyard, we are confident that our home is the perfect place for you and your family.

Our fully equipped kitchen with hardwood floors & granite countertops opens up to the spacious living area characterized by its large windows offering the space with lots of natural light and its gas burning fireplace, welcoming you with plenty of seating for the entire family.

Our kitchen features a variety of amenities such as a Coffee machine, microwave, full stove/oven, dishwasher and offers a range of kitchenware and cooking necessities needed for preparing your favorite meals.

Our home is cozy and we want it to feel like your home during your stay with us; we welcome the use of our docking area & games.

All bedrooms have flat screen TVs with streaming services. WiFi is offered throughout Vamos a la Playa!. ONLY guests have full access to the backyard & the dock area. Additionally, guests have access to street parking & laundry area with a washing machine & dryer.
Please note : the hot tub/ jacuzzi & outdoor fire pit is unavailable for utilization. We truly do apologize for this inconvenience!

Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. The property had everything we needed for our day-to-day stay, including bottled water, ground coffee, sponges, cleaning supplies, and even olive oil.The tenants upstairs made a genuine effort to be quiet when returning home around 10 p.m. and waking up around 4 a.m. each day. However, the sound barrier between the units is minimal, so we did experience some early-morning noise.Overall, we feel the price is reflective of this minor interruption for a waterfront property. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay, and we would gladly return!

While we try our absolute best to accommodate all our renters, we are always saddened by the ones where we missed the mark. The owners upstairs do try their best to keep it down as they come to & from work, many renters don’t complain- but we understand that it can be cumbersome for others- especially with dogs. We try our best to make up for it with a complimentary early check in, a 2nd dog fee waived and a speedy response to issues or hiccups the renter may have asked for during their stay. While we are glad your stay with us would make you feel confident in staying with us again, we were hoping all the good would outweigh the bad!

Our stay at Vamos a la Playa was absolutely wonderful! The home was even more beautiful in person, spotlessly clean, incredibly well kept, comfortable, and clearly cared for with so much attention to detail. It is located in such a cute, peaceful neighborhood and was the perfect place for our LBI getaway.What truly made our stay exceptional, however, were the hosts. They were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and communicative from beginning to end. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure that everything went smoothly, even after I made a huge mistake on communications.I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful home or the people who host it. We made such special memories here, and I would stay again without hesitation. We are already looking forward to coming back!

The pics of the house are very old on the sight. All of the screens are ripped so you are unable to open windows without filling the house with flies. The yard is covered with weeds. The grill had a thick layer of buildup on the grates, and no propane. The people upstairs came home every night late and up at 4am with no regard for the sleeping people downstairs.The location is nice, but the home is not maintained.

While we strive for the absolute best, we understand that some of our renters have constructive criticism for our home and we take that and work on being better for all our guests. While We wish you would have responded to us and followed up with any complaints during your stay to give us the opportunity to make it right, but we understand that there were issues- we hope the good still outweighed the bad. What a great rental! On the water, quiet neighborhood, has everything you need from towels, bed linens, toiletries, kitchen utensils, etc.I was most impressed that upon check-in, i was pleasently surprised they had left me a fresh 1/2 gallon of milk, eggs, english muffins, a veggie tray, and all the sweet fixings for Smores by the fire pit. Great location and place highly recommend it!

The owners who live upstairs leave for work at 4am every morning and woke us all up event day. We did not have a good experience and would not stay here again.

Great stay! Property is beautiful! Wish the hot tub and fire pit were available like it was listed. Host was great. Quick communication and the place is bigger than it looks in pictures. Great amenities. First place I’ve ever stayed that had paper towels and toilet paper and tissues. Thank you!!We will be back.
