Enjoy the peace and solitude of our 70 acre property! The main house sits a quarter of a mile off the road, deep within a pine forest and overlooks Miller Creek. With 5 bedrooms and sleeping arrangements for 10 this quiet get away is perfect for the whole family. The house includes a library, game room, and a home movie theater. The 70 acres includes a pond with a dock and sitting area, a covered tree house, and a gazebo (set a short hike into the woods) that overlooks a brook.

The space
The unique house was built by its original owners, and started with the log cabin yurt that is attached to the main living quarters. The main house sits a quarter of a mile off the road, deep within a pine forest and overlooks Miller Creek. With five bedrooms and sleeping arrangements for 10, this quiet get away is perfect for the whole family. The house includes everything you could need and more. Including a library, game room, and a home movie theater complete with a big screen projector, movie theater popcorn machine, drinks, and your own personal candy station. Upstairs is a king size bed and two twin beds, a queen size bed and bunk bed (full over a full size bed) on the lowest level, and within the original yurt cabin are two full size futons. This sleeping arrangement is on the main living floor and is accessible by a 6 inch stair. We also have a fold out couch in movie room on the lowest level that is also a full size. The main floor also includes the kitchen with small dining table, family room, dining room with seating for 10, three season porch with a bench swing, cabin yurt, and full bathroom. While the house is amazing, we believe that the beauty of this stay comes from the property. Just within the 70 acres is a beautiful pond with a dock and sitting area, a covered tree house perfect for relaxing in the treetops, and a gazebo (set a short hike into the woods) that overlooks a babbling brooke. Enjoy cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and sledding all at your doorstep. While this stay will make you feel like you are in complete solitude, it is conveniently located 25 minutes from downtown Ithaca, one hour to Binghamton, and only 45 minutes from Greek Peak Ski Resort. If you aren’t looking to travel that far, the town of Spencer is only a 7 minute drive from the house and can provide you with anything you may need. There is a caretaker on site, in a separate apartment on the property, that can provide you with any help you may need, but will stay out of the way unless needed. We also provide an optional breakfast of fresh baked goods, coffee, and orange juice left at your doorstep each morning.
Other things to note
Front door is not on the Cabin, it is up small walk to the door on the house. This is a very slight grade and should be easily accessible for all.
