Overall, a very nice place to stay for a reasonable price near Joshua Tree NP! The outdoor space was awesome & the beds were comfy. The only downfall was the A/C, as it took forever for the place to cool down to be comfortable in. Would stay again if back in the future!

Very nice property close to restaurants, shopping and the National Park. Beautiful outdoor area with a nice view. Had every thing we needed for a 4-day stay. Home was clean, spacious and had comfortable beds. Only a few minor issues with some of the appliances but overall a great stay. Will probably book for my next trip to Joshua Tree.

The house is in a good location. It was a short walk to restaurants and coffee shops and the west entrance to Joshua Tree park with ~10 min away. The backyard space was very lovely and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub and swings. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious. The carpets in the bedrooms we very dirty, but we just kept our socks on. There were a few things that needed to be repaired (microwave handle, dents in walls, etc.), but this didn't slow us down. The kitchen was stocked w/enough pots and pans for us to cook breakfast and lunch. Also, there is a space in the garage to play ping-pong and pool. We couldn't play ping pong because the net was broken, but we improvised and still made use of the space.

I really wanted to enjoy this stay, but unfortunately it fell well short of expectations.The biggest issues were the cleanliness, the bugs, and the overall quality of the home. There was a thick layer of dust above the kitchen cabinets, and we found both dead and live bugs throughout the house, including cockroaches and earwigs.When we arrived, the home was extremely warm and took over 3 hours to cool down. The ā€œsmartā€ refrigerator was more of a hassle than a convenience and never produced ice.The amount of rules also made the stay much less enjoyable. I understand wanting to protect your property, but having house rules posted on the wall when you walk in, along with a 10-page PDF of rules before arrival, felt excessive and took away from the vacation experience.While cleaning before checkout, we opened the kitchen window normally and the single-pane glass unexpectedly shattered. It appeared the glass may have already had a crack or weakness, but weā€™ll likely be charged for it.Overall, between the cleanliness issues, insects, questionable maintenance, and excessive rules, I wouldnā€™t choose to stay at this property again.

Beautiful property at Joshua Tree

My family and I visited Joshua Tree and stayed at Grants home. The home was just as advertised. The kids loved the hot tub and game room. We only wish that our stay had been longer!! Thank you Grant for being very quick with replyā€™s and opening up your home to vrbo guests like us.

New year 1st trip

As our 1st trip of the year we choose to visit Joshua Tree NP. Our stay was super pleasant as the hose was exactly as stated, we only wish we booked for 2days and enjoy the back yard and jacuzzi.

Spectacular Weekend Retreat!

A couple of my friends and I decided to get together to visit Joshua Tree National Park and stargaze. We across Grant's property and instantly knew that was the one! Super close to the park and very modern looking! Had a terrific weekend and would definitely come back to visit again and spend the weekend at Grant's.
