Why stay in a crowded hotel when you can stay in a gorgeous home with everything you need? Perfect for corporate housing, insurance claims relocation, or just a family in need of temporary housing. We now have a minimum stay of 30 days and our goal is to make your stay as easy and pleasant as possible. Included with your stay is all utilities, linens, towels, lawn and snow removal, and we are PET FRIENDLY as well!

The home has been tastefully remodeled to bring in modern elements, while preserving some of its historic touches. Boasting over 4200 sqft with 2 living areas, formal dining room, office, patio, large backyard, there's plenty of room to entertain while maintaining your privacy. Everything has been designed to make your stay comfortable and hassle-free, such as our keyless entry, WiFI QR code access, fully stocked chef's kitchen with coffee, and Alexa soundsystem.

We also offer something no one else allows in the area; your furry family member can come and enjoy the stay with you!

Staying in this home you can expect the full gambit of essentials which include:
- Cali-King Bed, Queen beds, and a couple singles beds for kids or the solo traveler.
- Fully stocked kitchen with cookware, utensils, glasses, mugs, cutlery, cutting boards, sharp knives, baking sheets, and all the basic tools like wine openers, pizza cutters, and vegetable peelers.
- Wine fridge - dual climate.
- Washer and Dryer.
- Shampoo, Body Wash, and Conditioner provided in each shower.
- Peloton, yoga mat, and some body weight equipment for the gym.
- Self-filling water pitcher and ice maker in refrigerator.
- Hair dryer, ironing board, and iron.
- Fenced in backyard.
- Coffee Machine.
- All TV are smart TVs, every bedroom will be provided a TV upon request. We Hulu, Disney streaming options are provided.

6 VEHICLE MAXIMUM IS ALLOWED PER BOOKING. We want to respect the neighbor's and not clog up the street, so please find a way to combine cars to reduce the amount of street parking.

Perfect all around

We used this property as a place for family to be together for a funeral. The rest of our family is local and we are from out of state and needed a place for us to be together. House was great, roomy and had a lot of great character. We'd definitely stay there again.

Incredible Experience

There were a group of 4 couples of us from all parts of the country in for WWE Summerslam. We stayed at the property and had an absolutely great time. The house was immaculate and truly felt like a second home. Chris and his wife were great hosts.

Immaculate Home

The home was absolutely amazing. We truly enjoyed our stay here. From cleanliness of the home to the game room. We could not have picked a better place to stay for an extended period of time. The host is amazing, any questions you may have are answered immediately. They even give you a brochure with the guidelines and direct lines in order to contact them. We are very thankful for you allowing us to stay in your home.

Loved our stay!!!

I recently stayed at this rental with my family and friends, and it was an excellent experience. The home was impeccably clean and spacious, with great style and decor throughout. The fully stocked kitchen was a definite plus, and made it easy to prepare meals and snacks during our stay. The location was perfect for our needs, as it was close to downtown Detroit, the Detroit golf club, and Ferndale. We were able to explore the city and surrounding areas without any trouble. Additionally, parking was a breeze with the 2 stall garage and tons of street parking. Overall, I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, and convenient stay in the Detroit area and will definitely book here again on our next stay!

Wedding Weekend at the Oak Oasis

Traveled to Detroit for our oldest sons wedding. Arrived to a home that was exactly as described in the listing, wonderfully clean, well equipped and spaciously renovated. It's an older home in a residential area on a beautiful tree lined street. The home met our needs perfectly for a group of 6 adults and 5 children. Plenty of space for comfort and activities for the kids. Communication with the host was excellent. Welcoming booklets provided by the host contained all the information necessary for our stay. Would definitely book again.

This is what brought my wife, Haylie, and I to short-term rentals as we love to help guests enjoy our homes as much as possible. We like to find great local bars and restaurants, along with camping and traveling in our weekends away. This helps us find new ways to help accomodate our guests and go above and beyond for them!

This property has recently had some great renovations done, including creating an open flow through the first floor by removing a couple walls and giving it a brand new kitchen. The kitchen has brand new high end cabinets, white picket backsplash that travels to the ceilings, brand new black stainless steel appliances, and built in wine fridge and microwave. There is a ton of extra storage space in the breakfast nook where you can have a morning cup of coffee and read a book or get some work done on your laptop. This flows right into the formal dining room that can easily seat 10 people and also has a french door opening into a 3 seasons patio. While entertaining there is a funky 1st floor bathroom that boasts original floor tile, black wainscoting, fun wallpaper, and gold fixtures. If you are a remote worker, there is a formal office that supports super fast fiber internet, large wooden desk and comfortable chair, and floor to ceiling windows for plenty of natural light to flood in the first floor.

The second hosts all the sleeping arrangements which include 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and the third floor is another bedroom and full bathroom!

For extra room to entertain, the basement is almost fully finished with a large living room and huge fireplace, built-in bar, half bathroom, gym, and full laundry with brand new washer/dryer. With so many spots to entertain, you're sure to find plenty of space to make new memories!

Comes with access to a 2 stall garage, fully fenced backyard for the fur baby, and has high end upgrades in the home to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Safety is very important to us as there are 6 exterior cameras that are recording 24/7 to ensure guest safety, along with wifi locks with changing passcodes to ensure previous guests will not be able to access the home after their stay! There is also a full first floor Alexa system that can be used to play games ("Hey Alexa, lets play Jeopardy!"), play music ("Hey Alexa, play music everywhere!", or even find out the news.
