Nice relaxing vacation

Great location, close to the beach and with two pools. The condo was very clean and the kitchen well equiped. Very relaxing environment. We really enjoyed spending 5 weeks there.

Great Respite

Our unit was near the pool and entry to the beach. Everything we could have wanted was provided and the unit was as advertised. You'll need to bring everything you need to cook and do laundry. We'd stay here again without reservation.

Great location, very clean except for slight musty smell in 2nd bdrm/bath

We loved this location for a quick beach get away though the weather was cold & windy & not good for swimming! OVC R11 had everything we needed and the pools and beach are a very close walk! The only reason for 4 of 5 stars is the “queen” bedroom had a pretty strong musty smell and when we opened the windows to air out, there was some mold growth around the windows. I hope this could be easily cleaned and likely as a result of hurricane damage a couple years ago. Regardless, would definitely come back!

Horrible Experience

Warning! It does not tell you in the description that you have to arrive between 4:00-5:00 to check in. It also does not tell you that you have to go to an offsite place to get access to the unit. They sent a flurry of six emails and two texts when I booked. I had to send a photo of myself with my ID. There were contracts and so many rules to abide by. Years of many VRBO rentals and I have never encountered this. Its rented by some big company with a call center. We called to find out how to do a late check in since we had plans during the one hour window. They gave us a website with a code was supposed allow us to access our unit. We agreed to see the office for our parking pass the next morning. Until then we had to leave a detailed note with my full name and which unit I was in.When we arrived there was a gate that we didn't have a code for. Eventually we followed another car in. We were never able to get into our unit. Nothing worked and no one answered. We ended up driving 4 hours home.The next day we were informed of some off site kiosk that services many rentals in the area. I guess we needed a gate card from there. I still don't know how we were supposed to access the unit. The code they gave us was useless.After hours of back and forth between big rental company VTrips and VRBO we finally received a refund 1/4 of our purchase price. They thought we should drive 4 hours back to stay the second night in the room and therefore they didn't have to refund it.

I was bringing a elderly friend who never visited St. Augustine. The property was close to fishing.

It was a stress free experience reaching out to the owner and management company. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone coming to the area.

Butler beach

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. Only major issue was there wasn’t much for linens - bedding & pillows and towels. I felt like that was a little stingy even when we asked for more and had 5 people staying in the condo as listed. We just wanted to be comfortable. The condo could use an update. The beds aren’t very comfortable either.

Great location

The property is in a great location. The condo itself is a nice corner unit with comfy beds. My only problem was the room was not very clean. There were hairs in the sinks and tubs, and there were a few dead bugs in the middle of the floor. The chairs also had some brown stains on them. Due to those instances that we noticed immediately, we just felt that the condo was not very clean during out stay which is frustrating since we pay a cleaning fee. The communication was great and easy check in/out process.

Great getaway 😎

Always enjoy visiting Ocean Village Club. Two pools and the beach . Close to everything. Miss checking in at the actual resort. Going to an offsite to retrieve keys and parking passes was a bit inconvenient.

First impression was it needed to be cleaned and maintained .

Overall experience was exhausting, time consuming, unpleasant and unnecessary. Fire ant issue didn't get resolved for two days resulting in my 6 month old and 6 yr old getting bit . I have pictures of everything. It was bad . I feel like this company had me except a voucher and refund before resolving issue was a SNAKE tactic and horrible. We should be refunded our entire stay plus given a week free for our horrible experience. Your company should be ashamed how this matter was handled .

Beautiful unit, well maintained property!

Pros: We loved our stay at OVC R11. The unit had EVERYTHING we needed, and more. Totally stocked, right down to the beach chairs, boogie board and pool noodles in the closet! The art in this unit is amazing. Actually, upon arrival we realized that our cousin's artwork is displayed in the second bedroom, John "Richard" Gonzalez! Needs Improvement: We did not have a good experience with Vacation Rental Pros. Their communication prior to the visit is horrible. We will not rent through them again. Also, the view from the condo is a parking lot. Would have enjoyed if we could at least view the grassy area and watch the kids play from our porch. The property here is maintained superbly, however, I would send a recommendation to the property management team to discontinue running the sprinklers around 7ish each night. It is hard to enjoy the grounds around the pool grills and even get into your back door without getting soaked by them.

Relaxing vacation

We were impresses with the cleanliness of the condo. It was furnished nicely with everything you would need. We had tv in Each bedroom and the living room. There were games to play and the paper came daily. We loved the location, just minutes from the beach and the pools. We also liked being on the first floor, end condo; we were able to park close to our entrance. We were just a few minutes from St. Alexander and very conveniently located near shopping areas. The grounds are lovely, people were friendly.....we plan to go back next year!

Very nice and very clean

This unit is very comfortable. Easy to get to. Great location. Short walk to the beach. Did not provide extra toilet paper so bring an extra package. Would sleep 4 adults easily.

Tired.

The complex was clean , close to the beach and well maintained. Our particular unit was cluttered with 'kitsch " Florida items and the furniture ( the couch ) was old , tired and not comfortable. we enjoyed our stay at Ocean's Village and may return just not to this unit.

Condo clean, inviting, roomy and every thing we hoped for. Pictures represented the condo perfectly. We couldn't have been more pleased. While Vacation Rental Pros provided us with information we needed for check in, it was almost impossible to communicate with them once we arrived. We would go through a different company to book next time.

Vacation in R11 at Ocean Village Club

Another great stay at Ocean Village. Vacation Rental Pros were easy to work with and very helpful from start to finish. Right down to last day reminders on what to do at check out. Had a slight issue with shower head first day. Called Steve and he had someone there to fix it on Sunday, very prompt. Recommend this unit to anyone. Plan on coming back next July again! Thanks for a great week!

2013 Vacation

We have vacationed in St. Augustine the last 7 years & have spent the last 4 of them in this unit. We love it & have enjoyed the convenience & Bentley (dog) really enjoys the enclosed porch. Sorry to see the new owners are not dog friendly. :-( New dishwasher is great & new linens much appreciated. Refrigerator should be next upgrade as it freezes items that are toward the back. Good weather & a great time had by all.
