Just a mediocre place. Pool needs to be refinished badly. The grill was broken without notice yet they knew about it. The AC was an issue our first night. Stray cat always around. You essentially are sharing the property with 2 other neighbors. So thereā€™s no privacy and youā€™re at the mercy of how they operate their own spaces. Example is lounging by the pool while the neighbors can actually watch you, or looking around the corner at the other neighbors broken down cars. Thereā€™s also another neighbor with a junkyard in the front lawn. The more I write the more I realize this place was very unsatisfactory.One bathroom is for 2 of the rooms and thereā€™s a 3rd room where your bathroom is actually in the family room making it hard to have any kind of privacy. Also one of the beds is very squeaky. Multiple tripping hazards inside and out due to steps not being up to code because of additions.

Location was beautiful. View was beautiful. The innkeepers were very helpful and very nice. Outside of house patioā€™s and greenery were beautiful. Loved all the little places to sit. Very relaxing. House was clean. Bed was uncomfortable. And ice maker didnā€™t work. And grill outside was not working , dinning chairs were uncomfortable and. There was no gym or washer or dyer as advertised. But all and all had a nice time.

Family Get Away

House was perfect for family stay and to just a bbq for the long weekend. Hank was very responsive and accommodating. We would book this place again!

Perfect Fallbrook Stay

This house was so comfy. Spacious for my family of 6. Hank and Amy were so nice and accommodating. They let us enjoy some of the oranges and lemons on their trees. They were so good!!! We stayed here for a Fallbrook wedding. It was the perfect place to recharge. Easy access to town/ grocery. Sitting in the back yard was so cozy. Lots of beautiful plants and landscaping. Thanks so much.

My son, his family and I chose Canyon Retreat Villa due to the ideal location; half way between San Diego Zoo and Disneyland. The villa was larger then I expected it would be, the yard and pool was very relaxing, and the location was very peaceful. We met Hank, he was very nice and helpful. Hank gave us great suggestions on local restaurants and wineries to visit and try. The only downfall was there was no washer/dryer on site. So, make sure you pack enough clothing to do you for your stay, or visit the local laundromat. I would recommend the Canyon Retreat Villa to others.

Cute, great location, but lacking

The property is dog friendly and be host was great working with us on a second dog. BUT, we didnā€™t get check in details until after 4pm when I was struggling to get in. The property is cute and spacious but common amenities like kitchenware, towels, ect was lacking. And the ants!!!! We couldnā€™t get ants under control. They were in our bed, on the toilet, on our clothesā€¦. Everywhere.

Fabulous Family Fub

We were in town for a wedding and could not have found a more perfect home for our stay. It met all of our needs and then some. Hank and Amanda were so helpful and responsive. The pool area and patio off the house are so peaceful and serene, it was a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of a wedding. The home is clean and well stocked. Would most definitely stay here again! Thank you!

A great and relaxing stay!

The stay was absolutely amazing! The place was very big almost too big for what we needed but it was definitely worth it! Hank and Amy are the grounds keepers and they were readily available for any needs that arose! They even dropped off some fresh lemons they had grown! Hank also found a pair of one of our shoes and offered to ship it back to us! Overall it was a great stay and I would stay here again if I ever come back to California!

Tropical Retreat

The Canyon Retreat Villa was just as described with lush gardens and amazing entertainment areas both inside and out. Amy and Hank were friendly, available, and unobtrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning in the fall.

Fallbrook Family Wedding Stay

This property is perfect for family and friends visiting or in our case for our son's wedding at Grand Traditions Estate. It was so close to the venue, provided plenty of spacious rooms, large kitchen to keep us going, exquisite outside grounds that I wish I had more time to enjoy. The honeysuckle vines invite you outside each morning with coffee, the beautiful succulents and palms carry that down to the pool and lower decks, the lighting perfect. We could not be happier and the groundskeeper is wonderful, Hank provided us with fresh lemons and oranges from the trees onsite. Truly remarkable stay in Fallbrook and I can't wait to return!!

Home for a Wedding

The house was older than I expected but the pictures were spot on. I would have liked to spend sometime outside but there was a lot of bugs and cobwebs (I know it was outside). I selected the house because of the pool and was disappointed. There was some equipment in the pool while we were there. Hank and Amy were very kind and took care of any needs we had with the house. It was a nice area and very quiet. I would recommend the home to anyone.

Hilltop Oasis

A fantastic property for our family getaway/wedding weekend in Temecula. Property was beautifully curated, welcoming and clean, and exactly what we needed for our home away from home. One night it rained and the covered patio(s) provided the perfect spot to enjoy the rainfall. The communal areas are welcoming and spacious. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the size of all the bedrooms. Great property if you have kids: the pool is large with lots of seating around and the citrus trees on the property provide a fun activity for picking & juicing. If we return to the area, we would definitely stay here again!

LOVELY RETREAT

We stayed here for a family wedding and found the house to be lovely, well appointed, The property and outdoor space is absolutely gorgeous - fabulous plants, and space to enjoy an outdoor oasis. We would stay again and enjoy the area surrounding - Fallbrook and Temecula are easily accessible.

Extremely satisfied, and recommended place, my children had a lot of fun, a very calm place and the space large enough, Amy and her husband are very friendly people and answered all our questions while we were there, everything very clean I felt very happy to spend a few days with my family and close relatives who came to visit us while I was there, my children's cousins had a lot of fun..

Wonderful Stay

My wife and I along with another couple stayed here to attend a wedding nearby. We arrived on a Friday and left on a Monday. The house was as expected. The rooms were large and comfortable. The bathrooms were well supplied with all the necessities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again without question. Hank and Amy (the couple that manages the property and live in a house in the back) made us feel welcome and let us know that they were available when needed.
