Cabin on the lake orv’s and campers welcome!

Need a peaceful and comfy place to reset? Come enjoy the tranquility of Crooked Lake! Take in the views while sitting at the campfire and enjoying your getaway. In the warmer months, enjoy hanging out in the water by the dock, or throw a fishing line in off the dock for the ultimate vacation relaxation! Not only is the water fun, but there is plenty of yard for kids to run and play, too. The snowmobiling and cross country skiing trails are endless! Plus extra camper power 110 and water hookup!

The cabin is a cozy 3 bedroom, 1 bath home. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one with a smart TV. The third bedroom is a large bonus room on the second floor with three full size beds, smart TV, tons of DVDs and player, and a bin of toys and games for kids to enjoy! The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots, pans, silverware, cooking utensils, anything you need to cook. The kitchen and living room are an open space, with a large smart TV. All smart TVs have a Roku set up - enjoy free channels or feel free to log into your streaming channels while you're there.

The cabin is just 2 miles from downtown Atlanta where you can find a hometown coffee shop, restaurants, grocery store, antique store, hardware store - anything you could need during your stay. Atlanta is the Elk Capital of Michigan! Hop on your quad, snowmobile, side x side, dirt bike or in your vehicle to go check them out! There are also several great fishing lakes in the area. Amazing walking / hiking trails all over Northern Michigan start right here in Atlanta.

Get on the ORV trail system from the cabin at 489 Rd. Head into town for gas then out to explore the many miles of trails!

There are plenty of state parks nearby, such as beautiful Clear Lake State Park, which offers a beautiful sandy beach and shallow swimming area that is perfect for kids. It also has a trail spur that offers a direct connection to the Atlanta ORV route and the Michigan Cross Country Cycle Trail.

One of the best rentals we have ever stayed in! The location was perfect, the amenities were excellent, and the kids had an amazing time. Everything was comfortable and well thought out. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We stayed here Fri and Saturday left on Sunday. First weekend of October very quiet and peaceful. Place offers a lot of options, plenty of beds for guests, 2 kayaks to borrow or a small John boat with a trolling motor and battery ready to use. A grill with gas out on the deck. Very clean and easy to use home. We were unable to get the wifi to work for us but really didn’t care. Not sure why we followed the instructions but it wouldn’t work.Beds are of the firmer type but not bad.If you plan to use upstairs the stairs are old style narrow and steep.All in all though a nice place well furnished for a stay. Thanks Paul

Great property, quiet clean and convinient. Freddy's grocery is just 10 minutes away and has everything you could need. Excellent fishing, there are plenty of pike bliegill and bass in the canal right off of the dock. Trolling motor for the pelican was perfect for getting around the lake. We had a blast.

Anniversary trip

We had a great time at the lake cottage. Everything was as listed and in good condition. We were looking for a quiet place on a lake and that is exactly what we got. We really loved the added bonus of the little boat and trolling motor. We were able to get around the entire lake on a single battery charge. We made sure to bring a paddle just in case. We enjoyed fishing and just floating on the beautiful calm clear lake. Kitchen was well stocked with spices and seasonings to make a home cook very happy. I made every meal at the cottage and I had everything I needed. We would definitely stay here again. Lisa and Nick

What a perfect find Cabin on the Lake was for us to come up north for the weekend. We got to visit family from Hillman and enjoy a comfy space to relax. Nicely stocked with all the essentials. Can’t wait to visit again

This place was amazing! The cabin is so beautiful and clean. The outside is beautiful too! It was nice being right there on the water so peaceful and relaxing! The girls enjoyed the kayaks as well. I have recommended this property to 3 people already and plan to visit again in the near future! If you're looking for a nice place to rent i highly recommend this place!

Nice House

The house is in a great location of Atlanta on Crooked Lake.We came for Christmas because our family lives up here.Everything was excellent to the communication from the host to the house has everything you needed.We will definately be back again whether it Winter Spring Fall or Summer.Excellent Vrbo choice.

Wonderful place minus cleanliness and mouse problem

Wonderful, cute place and great location, loved it. The only downside and reason for the low rating was we paid over $600 to stay for 3 nights and had to wash anything we used as there were mouse droppings all over beds, floors and tables upstairs and throughout the kitchen cupboards and drawers. When we first arrived there was a dead mouse in the toilet which was fine, we can totally handle knowing there might be a couple critters being this time of year. But the house should have been inspected if there's a known infestation, saw a few rodent poison bricks around, and also it should have been cleaned properly before guests arrive as a cleaning fee is included. Host was very apologetic and offered to try to send in a cleaning crew but we were leaving early next morning so we declined. Would love to stay again if it were properly cleaned drawers. drawers.

Great Family Getaway

Love the location, river access, and boats! Had 1 small issue of locating the pack 'n play, but the host helped resolve the issue within an hour! Great communication and beautiful property. Will definitely be back!

Forth of July Family Trip

Our family loved the property and the onsite usage of kayaks and fishing boat. We were unable to get the main level of the house cooler than 74 degrees, however upstairs has a window air conditioner and stayed cool. Had a great trip overall loved the area. Thank you for having us!

Nice views

House was easy to find and get in. Beds were very comfortable, nice little living area, and kitchen was cute. We did have some ants on the counter by the sink, as well as a dead bird out by the water (looked like it had been there for a few days). Also bugs all over the kayaks/peddle boat, and no paddle board as stated on listing. Otherwise, house was nice.

Best vacation everr

The house was very clean. Loved how well stocked everything was. Loved the fact we could sit on the dock and fish with the younger kiddos but still be close to the house. Would definitely book again. This is actually our second time booking this house we have been booking it every year for the last couple of years. I honestly don't in have anything negative that I could say about the house or even the property/owner.

Very quiet getaway!

The cabin has been undated and was very comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck watching geese swim by, kayaking on the lake, and catches up as a family. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had all the appliances and tools we needed. It is very close to a small town and to miles and miles of state owned wilderness and trails. We're so glad we booked this place!

I’m here to help make your stay fun and easy. I am the owner and property manager. My family and I love coming up north and enjoying the lake with fishing, swimming, kayaking. Our other favorite thing up here is riding our quads, dirt bikes and side x sides. The trails are amazing, and we like to cruise around looking for elk, deer, and turkeys. We are planning to make many more memories up here, so feel free to ask for ideas on fun things to do this is nature's paradise!

Great location on the lake for paddle boats, paddle boards, kayaks, or just playing in the water off the dock. The lot is extra big for relaxing space with your company enjoying a campfire or grilling out. There’s lots of room to park many vehicles and trailers. Trails for riding start right off the property and can lead you to Gaylord, Traverse City, Mackinaw City, Cheboygan and more.

The cabin is almost 1,100 sq ft, and with a complete remodel and updated open space, it’s ready to accommodate guests comfortably.
