Although a little"tired" the appartment/hotel room was spottlessly clean and serviced daily.there was plenty of space and a lovely beach view.

Wonderful property in a great location

Well maintained, friendly and professional staff. We stayed in a 1BR ocean front suite and would highly recommend staying here. Great location

the staff was very friendly. the rooms were dated but kept really clean! I stayed in a different vrbo that was way more expensive and "upscale", and I preferred this room over it. It's right across the street and next to all that you'll need. With that said, it does get a little noisy at times, but you're on vacation. Leave the room and explore!

Wonderful hotel

The hotel is beautiful . We had an amazing sea view and a large spacious room / kitchen / bathroom and balcony . The pool and restaurant were great . Everyone we spoke to who worked at the hotel was lovely . It was spotlessly clean and we never had a problem finding a lounger . Great food and we made the most of happy hour . We would definitely recommend s as a place to stay 👍😊

Small hotel with a big home feel

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It’s not fancy but has the amenities you need and the view from our room was spectacular. The other guests are often repeat guests and that speaks volumes. I found this gave the feel of home away from home with their friendliness and also respect for some privacy if you so wish. Thank you for our relaxing week in paradise

Hotel Rostrevor, St Lawrence Gap - wonderful!

We were utterly delighted with our first stay at the Rostrevor and would absolutely stay there again for any future visits to Barbados. It is extremely well situated for the local bars and restaurants on foot, and in easy reach of lovely beaches at Carlisle Bay by local transport. Rooms are basic but clean and spacious with kitchenette and aircon, beds comfy. Our room had a balcony with sea view (literally 20 yards from the sea, not a distant view). The staff, particularly in the Almond Tree bar/restaurant onsite, are so friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Drinks and food nice and well priced (especially happy hours!). Pool area and sunbeds all clean and right on the sea front. Direct access to the sea and a VERY small beach area, but mostly the sea here was in too far and waves quite strong. The local bars and restaurants were all good and within a few hundred yards maximum, some literally adjacent. The main road was a less than 10 minute walk, from where you could easily and cheaply get local transport either up to Bridgetown/Carlisle Bay or into Oistins (a must on Fridays!)The only slight drawback would be that the proximity did mean some noise at night from music at closest venues, but not going on into the early hours, and it honestly didn't disturb us greatly. Would thoroughly recommend - for the price we found it fantastic value and would 100% stay again.

Ideal location for St Lawrence Gap lovers

Communication prior to arrival with the Rostrevor was minimal but answered any questions we had.Check in was smooth and efficient.The room was clean, spacious & bright with a great ocean view but we would have benefited from additional storage space. We thought the fridge might have been larger especially for storing drinks etc.There was an ongoing issue with towels both for the room and for the beach, whereby when we went to have them changed there were no clean ones available.When we raised the issue with reception it was dealt with but unfortunately still reoccurred.Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn't very efficient so we had to have the balcony doors open most nights probably our fault as we didn't report the issue.The food in the Almond Tree is excellent & priced very reasonably.It was great having two happy hours at lunchtime and early evening.You had to be up early for your choice of sunbeds as many were occupied by 6am, although there were always some available somewhere.Staff were friendly & recognised you.Overall its a 3 star hotel & you get the price you payWe would definitely recommend the hotel particularly for it's location.
