Furnished, lakefront 2/1 house in Ocala Nat'l Forest

We always appreciate the kind words. It's our pleasure to share this little slice of heaven with guests. It was very nice they took advantage of an opportunity to check out the local State Parks and Recreation areas - there are several that are great for kayaking/canoeing, tubing, etc. The local Ranger station has many pamphlets and handouts for hiking, camping, kayaking/canoeing, motor vehicle permitted trails and much more for the Ocala National Forest, which we are in. Our lake (officially "Joe's Lake" but if you come to visit everyone calls it "Lake Joe") is 52 acres and spring-fed so it never goes dry. The lake is big enough for small boats and jet skis and towing tubes or skiers, but small enough that we don't get huge boats or airboats. We have 3 vrbo properties right here within a couple hundred feet of each other, so if you're interested in a place but it isn't available for your dates there's a chance that you can take advantage of this slice of heaven with a different abode. We always appreciate the kind words of satisfied guests. As Steven said, we have 2 other vrbo properties right here - a great setup for a family or friend gathering. They are all a couple hundred feet from each other. Can hang out together or check out the local springs/trails, day trip destinations etc during the day and go to neutral corners when needed. We look forward to sharing our little slice of heaven with y’all.

It was a pleasure to have Robert here and get to know him. They were on the go most of the days, so they were definitely quiet and left on very good terms with us.

It was a pleasure to have Kathleen and her husband Mike here. We got a little chance to get to know them and just like them we can't wait for them to return.

We were happy to host Dena and her husband. I think they did like how centrally located we are for day trips all around North Central Florida. The World Equestrian Center is a popular place, as are the local springs like Silver Springs and their glass-bottom boats, and other local springs recreation areas. And of course only an hour away one way or the other is Daytona Beach, St. Augustine, and Homosassa Springs for the manatee-watching in season. One place I keep mentioning - especially for the men - is the Don Garlits Racing Museum just south of Ocala. Very interesting, and there is also an antique auto museum right next door included in the admission price. That is also very interesting.

It was truly a pleasure to have Tom and Cindy visit with us. Instant friends and we had a good time teaching them new card games. We are hoping they will come and visit again next year. They left the house squeaky clean.

We always appreciate the kind words - it’s a pleasure to host Teri and Rob. They enjoy fishing, whether it’s from our dock or finding other local fishing spots. We were able to pass on to them a handout from the local Ranger Station on fishing. And there other handouts on canoeing/kayaking, hiking, camping, trails for ATVs and such. As we always point out, we have 3 VRBOs right here all in walking distance of each other. So if a particular one is already booked when someone is looking there are other nice alternatives. Or if they come back with fishing buddies that can be a good time during the day and retire to a place to themselves for the night. We look forward to their September stay.
