This little bungalow was cozy, quaint, and definitely gave āyou get what you pay forā vibes but in a charming way. That said, the online photos were a bit optimistic. The listing mentioned a hot tub, which didnāt exist (RIP to our spa dreams), but we managed to recover emotionally. The outdoor area was gorgeousālike a secret gardenābut the bugs were relentless. We basically played a live-action game of ādonāt get bitā every time we walked to the car. (We also made the bold decision to forgo bug spray, so thatās partly on us.)The bed looked like it came with a fluffy comforter in the photos, but in reality, it was a decorative light quilt folded nicely at the endācute, but not exactly cozy. The place was a little more snug than expected, but still a sweet stay overall. We saw a couple people during our visit, but no one said hi, so we werenāt sure if we were sharing the space with other guests or ghosts. Bonus note: there are two bikes, but unless youāre training for the Tour de France, Iād skip themāthey were more aerodynamic torture devices than beach cruisers. All in all, we had a good time. Just come prepared, expect a few surprises, and enjoy the garden⦠it really is the star of the show.
