You will feel right at home when you walk into this beautiful town home. The living room is a large, sunlit and comfortable. Enjoy the window seat ! Plenty of other seating for a family to gather and watch movies together. There is dining area and great kitchen..all have newly installed wood flooring. There is a half bath on this level.

The living room opens on to a private deck with dining set,gas grill and two chairs to enjoy a good book or view the bay at the St Joseph state park. The kitchen window overlooks the children's play area in the cul de sac.
On the second floor the guest bedroom has a queen bed, flat screen tv, full bath and deck. The master is large and has king size bed, private deck ,flat screen tv and seating. The bath room has a double vanity,separate tub and shower . The private deck is perfect for watching the sunrises or moon and stars over the bay!

Most everything you need for a restful, relaxing vacation is furnished: linens, beach chairs, umbrella, children's toys for both inside and the beach. We also have a cart and a wagon!
Well equipped kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, blender, toaster oven and ample dishes and cooking utensils.
Also includes family games, and book library, Pack and Play(TM), booster seat, wi-fi and wired broadband, two HD TV's, and a desk (if you must work).
Easy access to the Gulf Beach, two pools, pickle ball,fishing ponds all less than 5 min walk! The St. Joe Bay state park is close by for bike rides and has a boat launch.

Professionally decorated, Clean - Family and pet friendly town home in a quiet section of the gated Barrier Dunes community with deck overlooking children's playground on one side and two decks on the other side overlooking St. Joe State Park and St. Joe Bay. Lots of privacy at this location!

Barrier Dunes is a well landscaped and maintained town home community with 2 pools, tennis courts freshwater fishing lakes, and three boardwalk beach access points over the dunes.

Beautiful place, lovely host

What a wonderful stay we had! This property has bay views, which was a big bonus for our group. The host kindly let us check in early as we were coming from another property and had groceries to put away. Beautiful home, perfect for our needs as a group of four adult women. Thank you!

It was awesome!

The house was beautiful and well maintained. The owner had listed all the amenities and phone numbers to all the local businesses, which made our the stay much more enjoyable. The views were breathtaking. This is the best beach trip our family has ever had! We will definitely book with this property again!

Great neighborhood

Location is awesome. Short easy walk to the beach, super quiet area and host is very accommodating and very responsive to questions or concerns. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Such a wonderful trip!!

We had the best stay! The house was so clean and comfy and had everything we needed. Hurricane Debby came through while we were there and the owner came out to the home and checked on us personally and so very kind and acomidating and even offered us extra time for checkout because of the weather. Will definitely stay again!

Perfect Get Away to Cape San Blas

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Skye Townhouse, which has 2 wonderful bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a nice view of the bay. The 5-minute walk to the beach was perfect, and the sunsets on the beach were spectacular! It was a nice, quiet neighborhood.

Quiet stay

This is a cute town house and so easy to get to right before the state park and right inside the community entrance. We had a ways to walk to go to the beach but so close to go to and from the state park. The house is so clean and has everything you could possibly need! The owner was amazing and so sweet as well. Definitely will stay again and recommend

Good to relax!

We stayed over a week, nice community. Quiet and well groomed. Confortable. Few steps from the pool and the beach. We would have loved to get a late check out at least for one hour but unfortunately it was not granted.

The Cape

First time visiting and Blue Skyes was perfect for our family. Plenty of space. Short walk to the beach. Playground was directly out the front door. State park was a 5 minute drive. Never crowded and beautiful. Owner was great to work with. Sent suggestions for restaurants and things to do. Always responsive when I had questions.

Enjoyable!

Great place.. clean and relaxing.. would have liked to have been closer to the beach. Great for pets. Sleeps 5 adults. The air mattresses to make for #6, #7 and #8 were stretching it. Overall a great place for 5 adult sized people. Deborah was fantastic to work with. Condo was clean and very comfortable. Nice view of the St Joe Bay.

Fabulous Family Vacation

Our family had a wonderful time at Barrier Dunes. The townhouse was well stocked with all of the necessities and more. The owner is extremely nice and helpful. The beach is absolutely gorgeous. We did take a golf cart with us which was very handy in transporting stuff to and from the beach, however, the walk to the beach is not a bad one. The area is extremely pet and kid friendly. We were there on July 4th and the fireworks were absolutely phenomenal. We will definitely make this a yearly destination!

Amazing Time

When we read about the condo having everything you need for a beach stay, this was so true! I was going around looking for things that I forgot to bring, they had it. This was something that we were nervous about….the comfort of the bed. We’re very picky when it comes to our bed. We’re comfortable with rating the bed a 8.5, which is a very hard score to achieve from us. We slept so well, and is very welcoming after a long day on the beach. (The mattress is firm with a topper.) We would definitely stay here again and will most definitely recommend this place to others!

Family Vacation

This was our first time staying at a property in Barrier Dunes. My 3 year old son loved interacting with all the people he met on the playground and at the pool. We prefer to have spaces more to ourselves but overall we did enjoy our stay. There were quite a few stairs for my older dog to navigate but we just carried her around (she is only 10lbs). The beach was pretty but crowded and a little bit of a walk with a 3 year old and all his beach toys. It was really nice to be right across from the playground and a short walk from the pool. My son loved feeding the turtles from the dock on the pond. Thank you for our stay...we had a great time!

Last minute get away.. Owner was very helpful, she worked with us on the dates so that we were able to go.. It was me, a 9 yr old, 2 yr. old & 5 month old.. Perfect for kids, they provided everything we needed.. From xbox, movies, games, beach toys, bikes, etc. very kid/family-friendly.. The weather kept us inside most of the trip... But there was plenty to keep the kids entertained.. Also ended up having to take my babygirl to ER.. with an ear infection... Owner was very helpful telling me the best place to take her as well as how to get there... We will not book any other property other than this one... Look forward to our next trip....Thank you!

Blue Skyes Townhouse

My husband and I spent a few very enjoyable days in this condo. The condo was clean, very well stocked with everything one needs to cook , clean or do laundry. The condo was comfortable , close walk to the beautiful beach and overall wonderful. Our dogs loved it and so did we. The owner was especially attentive to us when we had a question. We will hopefully visit again next year.

Vacation in Cape San Blas

The property was even better in person than the pictures online. It was very nice & clean. It was definitely enough space for our group of 8. It was close to the beach & pools and they have everything that you need to make your stay easy & relaxing. We will be back hopefully in the future!!

Beach Townhouse Cape San Blas

Overall, a nice place to stay. There was a major issue of the AC not working when arriving, and I had to fix the problem myself (clogged air filter with months of dust accumulated). The stairs were difficult (2 flights) for our older dog, but he did get by. The distance to the beach is longer that any other stay I have rented. This made the trek with beach things and 2 dogs a bit much. They need more candles and flashlights for blackouts - which we had. Wifi was very flaky, as was cable - fortunately was able to use our Apple TV. A rebate/refund for a day or two would have been appropriate given the 2 days of hassle over these issues. Nice area to stay.

Great place for every type of vacation

We enjoyed the location of this townhome as well as the amenities. Home was nicely furnished with plenty of bedding and towels. We were in front of the playground which made it easy with our kids. We rented a golf cart and we will never go without one again. Only suggestions we have would be a water softener and/or filter but that is the price you pay for staying in this beautiful area. Thank you for a wonderful vacation

Always Good

We've been going to CSB and BD for 25 years and always enjoy a visit. It is isolated. It is secluded, but this time visiting we commented that CSB and St. Joe Peninsula has certainly been found. Lots of people on our sleepy beach, ie.1 hundred but it was peak season and to be expected. Beach nourishment was noticeable and welcome. Beach was wide, beautiful and the dunes intact after restoration from Hurricane Michael. That said, it was disheartening to see lazy, arrogant tourists occasionally walking over the dunes instead of using the provided stairs to save a few seconds of time. Fly fishing still awesome but Presnells is closed to all but Gulf County residents and charges $15 for a boat launch. City launch is therefore packed at all times. Luckily, Eagle Harbor is open, operable and very close to BD. Small boat ramp but very convenient and it's a great treat to enjoy the wildlife on the ride in. Saw otter, buck in velvet, myriad birds. Awesome. Restaurant choices are few if any. St Joe Shrimp Co. is a joke. $20 for a plate of advertised grouper and a drink. Ha. Grew up in Fla, fished grouper for 45 years, and either they stumbled on a school of anorexic grouper or substituted Whiting. Scully's is good but one of the few options so plan to cook. Unit was very good. Back of complex near playground but only a 5 minute walk to beach. Good exercise and a lot less salt spray on the car over the week. Owner provided a wagon for chair and umbrella transport which was wonderful since items need to be removed daily from the beach during turtle nesting season. Everything worked fine, AC cold, kitchen well stocked. Just a few small items broken like a lock, frig door handle etc. Clean, convenient, owner very responsive. We'd gladly rent this unit again.

We started visiting (renting) at the Cape in the late 1980's for family vacations and then bought a house there in the 90's. We sold that when the kids left home, and then decided to purchase a townhouse in the blue water, out toward the end of the Cape, near the State Park. We hope to do a bit more fishing, shelling and just relaxing in retirement. In the meantime, we are glad to have you visit with us and enjoy the Cape

We are located adjacent to St Joseph State Park which extends for the last 5+ miles of the Cape, The Park is undeveloped/pristine except for a boat launch and campground in the first mile from the gate.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We enjoy the quiet, serene environment of Barrier Dunes. The shops and restaurants in Port Saint Joe and Appalachacola are wonderful.

If you have never been scalloping, you should try it. The season is in mid summer. Walk (or boat) out in the Bay and simply pick them up (some folks snorkel). You can walk walk out a half mile in the shallow end of the Bay without going over about waist deep. The city has just created a park and Bay access on the mainland just where the Cape begins.

Our last boating expedition was up the Inland Waterway to White city and then over to Lake Wimco North of Apalachicola.
