The space

Escape to our secluded log cabin retreat in Wears Valley, Tennessee. Minnecreek Cabin is surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and a spring creek next to it. Minnecreek Cabin is the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway with easy access to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Dollywood.

- Large lawn: the large green and flat front lawn. Perfect to run around and play lawn games
- Fresh spring water creek: Steps away from the backyard, perfect for relaxation and pictures
- 2 bedrooms: Lower bedroom with king-size bed and smart TV. Upstair bedroom with a queen size bed, 1 twin floor mattress and smart TV.
- Loft: 2 twin beds in the loft
- Cozy loft area: Perfect for relaxing or playing games with two twin-size beds.
- Foosball table: Fun for all ages.
- Smart TVs: Access to your favorite streaming services.
- Fully stocked kitchen: Everything you need to prepare meals during your stay.
- Board games: A variety of board games to keep you entertained.
- Lawn games: a variety of lawn games (i.e. football, frisbee, corn hole, spike ball)
- Community pool and fish pond: we provide membership to the nearby (less than 1 mile from our cabin) Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli during the Summer months. This includes fishing access (year-round) at their large, stocked pond with fishing poles available for rent, no fishing license is required!

Guest access

Full access to the property with the exception of the storage room located on the main level, which is locked.

Other things to note

Cut the cord. No cable TV. Our TVs are smart TV; this allows you to sign in to your favorite streaming services for the duration of your time with us.

If you're planning to visit our cabin during the winter months (December to February), please note that it is located in Wears Valley and easily accessible from the main road.

However, there is a possibility of encountering snow and ice on the way, especially in the Smoky Mountains area. To ensure a safe and hassle-free trip, we strongly recommend two things: 1) purchase travel insurance, and 2) bring an AWD/4WD vehicle with you. Please note that we don't provide refunds due to weather conditions.

Indoor fireplace: Turned off during the spring and summer months (April - September)

Will definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful time out in the deck. Pretty much spent most of our time there. The home, neighborhood and amenities were great.

Weekend trip

My family and I enjoyed our stay here for the weekend. The cabin is lovely and had everything we needed to cook a few meals while we were there. It is easy to find and is very convenient to get to and from the parkway. The view of the creek out back is very peaceful. The surrounding mountains and even the other homes nearby add to the scenery. The property manager was very responsive and super helpful. I’d recommend it to friends and would be happy to stay here again!

Fourth of July trip 2023

We loved the location, it was quiet and peaceful. Perfect location and easy access to Pigeon Forge, Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg. The cabin itself was clean and had all the amenities we wanted. The communication with the host was great also. Great place to stay!

What makes this property unique and particularly attractive to me is that it is situated in a more level area, which allows me to easily enjoy the natural beauty of the area without having to deal with the steep hills that can be challenging for some.
